"How dare you enroll our daughter in a school that I haven't vetted! I'M THE MARTIAL ARTS GUY IN THIS FAMILY! BAAAHHHHH!!" Upon returning from my trip, I immediately went to visit the Starworld dojo. I was blown away by the school. I love the black belt staff, the way they interact with the kiddos, the way the school intertwines old-school culture with new-school flair... all of it. Sensei Williamson has run many schools in the past, and his current school shows the evolution of a long-time master that truly cares for his art. I think back to my experiences in a strict dojo. I think of the work vs. play aspect of things. I think of the senpai we had (the one sepnai we had). I think of the way I felt before, during, and after classes. Then I watch my child interact with the multiple well trained, good humored, respectful black belts who help with every class. I couldn't ask for more. I can go on forever, but I'll digress. tl;dr - Whether you're an old-school karate buff or a parent with no experience who simply wants your child to experience something new, this school is a great fit.

He ignored me for several minutes, yelled at children to stay quiet so he could conduct business, and did not greet me at all. This was advertised as an adult kickboxing class, yet only children were present. When I asked about the class, the instructor seemed confused and started calling people to see if anyone was coming. I grew up around Muay Thai all my youth- teen- age in a sport academy training for Olympics. I witness many champions growing up. Who trained hard till the end, despite of all injuries, that will be with YOU till the rest of your life. When my son turned 5 , we decided to put him in Muay Thai class, I've searched the town for the best gym, because I want my son to BE and TRAIN with/ like a champion, to learn discipline, respect, focus, defend, and in the same time to be fun. No success Unsatisfied. We just picked what is closer to home. Me thinking I don't wanna drive to far in 3-6pm horrible traffic. The pandemic hit, shutdown! And when finally everything it's opening back our gym was still closed. Then I found Cyclone Muay Thai in Glendale 45 min away, driving in the worst traffic ever!!!! I asked: -Are You Open? Cyclone: -Absolutely! I asked: -Info,Schedule? Cyclone: -Unlimited! -on may way All the other gyms offer 3 days /week practice witch is limiting my chances to make it at all 3.
