I sat back for a year watching the sell sell sell mentally of the staff, while paying 160 a month. I was ok doing so as long my son seemed to enjoy it. That changed. That disappointing part is how they treat you when you choose to end your contract. It's not easy (like a gym membership). I definitely remember signing up was a breeze! When I came in a 3rd time within and hour to catch the right person, I was no longer met with a smile and hello. Clearly he was informed that a parent was coming in to cancel their membership. This would have been a great opportunity for the staff to show the character that they teach their students. I believe last month was "Honesty". Instead I was met with no eye contact. Lots of standing and waiting and no "sad to see him go" or "we hope to see him return". Nothing but an intimidating "Why?" and a sign here and a walk off. After a year of coming through the door...Too bad. We will not be returning to Cox ATA in Conroe.

My child loves this place…read more The Little Tigers program at Master Hong's is a super fun, well structured, and non-monotonous taekwondo class for kids ages 4 to 6. (They have classes for children, teens, and adults as well.) It's a half hour packed with action for the kiddos. I like that it is fast-paced, so little ones - like mine - don't have time to get too distracted, and they are definitely not bored. Master Hong, Master Lee, and the third Master (whose name I am not sure of!) are terrific. I see each Master as an excellent, caring teacher, encouraging strength and respect in the children. They have stretching exercises and fun, varied activities as well as lessons on techniques - stance, punching, kicking... I see this as definitely improving my child's motor skills and agility as well as building her esteem and self confidence... And respect for others. She's doing better with listening and following instruction/obedience. Most importantly, she's happy, exercising, and learning something new that she really enjoys. The facility is clean and well organized. Meeting with Master Hong to discuss programs before we attended a class immediately put us at ease and he understood any special concerns/accommodations we had.
