I got a really good quote from John so I decided to just see what the cost would be to do the entire house. I had a couple of other quotes as well but John was about 35% less. The second time I was doing some work inside the house. I installed tile floor and had the walls painted. Again John was about 35% less than anyone else. He was very polite and honest about how long it would take. His crew came out both times and did the work in the time quoted and when they left everything was cleaned up as if they were not here. I highly recommend these guys and if I ever need anything else I will be using them again. I attached a couple of pictures. Unfortunately I did not get any before pictures, but trust me it looks a lot better. The house had not been painted in 12 years since it was built.

But a bit later when the tops of our newly stuccoed fences started looking like they were wet and I texted Jacob several pictures showing him what had occurred, he said he'd come by to check the fence and said "I will stop by to check on it. Most time it's because dirty water and dust on the top layer block Jacob " Not quite sure what that means, I'm guessing if he's saying that the stucco was applied on top of a dirty fence on a brand new home, perhaps they should've used a blower or suggested we do it, if it was going to have an adverse effect on the completed fence. Why would we spend that kind of $ and not get a good result? We've had pretty hard rain since and my fence still looks the same in most of the areas. Over the years, we had our stairs repaired multiple times because no one bothered to figure out what the underlying issues were. Jarrell took the time to get to the bottom of what the issues were and came up with the appropriate solutions. We weren't just looking for someone who can do the job, we were essentially looking for someone who can permanently fix the issues with our stairs. And that person was Jarrell. Of the handful of contractors we have previously hired and ultimately failed, Jarrell was the one and only person who delivered and actually understood the assignment. Upon making an initial appointment for an estimate with Jarrell, he did contact me to let me know that he was on his way. He was on time. As per my request, he did contact me upon arrival and remembered not to ring the doorbell. Jarrell provided multiple estimates that we could choose from. Each estimate clearly listed all of the work that would be done, so that we would all be on the same page. With his attention to detail, Jarrell had remembered to include tasks that we had previously discussed verbally in the estimates. More importantly, he did follow through and complete these said tasks. Meaning, he is on top of things and doesn't need to be reminded. Jarrell is a man of his word. Punctuality Punctuality was taken very seriously. Jarrell consistently showed up on time on the dates and times he announced he would be working on the stairs. Communication Jarrell always kept an open line of communication. He welcomed questions and concerns. With my experience with previous contractors, I've always found this to be lacking and a struggle. Therefore, I was pleased with Jarrell's forthcoming communication that lasted throughout the entire project. Transparency Jarrell was transparent about fees and costs. These were communicated in advance. He is honest and trustworthy. Respectful After each time Jarrell came to work on the stairs, him and Arlene cleaned up, this included sweeping and tidying up the garage. This may be deemed common practice, however, with our previous experience with other contractors, it actually isn't common practice. Jarrell and Arlene also had things put away neatly and organized. Garbage produced from the project was also removed from the premises. Craftsmanship The quality of his work speaks for itself. There is attention to detail and precision. You should know by now how unbelievably difficult it is to find someone like Jarrell in Las Vegas. With hiring Jarrell, what you are paying for is someone who will complete the job correctly the first time.

We navigated the terms, set a date of Dec. 5, signed the proposal, and sent the $1500 deposit. On Monday, Dec. 1, Rod text requesting the color swatches. I shared with him that they were included on the proposal that we had signed and returned, but also text him the color details again, sharing that they were Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior. This resulted in a phone call, during which Rod reassured me that though they wouldn't be using Sherwin Williams, their finish would last 8+ years in the desert heat and winds. I shared that I trusted him as the expert and requested that my wife and I send an updated swatch considering he said he could match any color. He said that would be OK and requested we get him the colors the next day. I went to sleep that night and woke up the next morning to a text from our bank, letting us know that the deposit of $1500 was returned. I immediately called him, but there was no answer. I followed up with a text and he replied that we couldn't agree on the type of paint. I followed up, sharing that we had agreed and that I trusted his word regarding the paint they planned to use. I never received a response. They cancelled and ghosted us 3 days before they were supposed to begin the project.

Rod was able to complete these tasks plus I asked him to please remove the satellite dishes from the roof. Rod provided the paint, patched up everything, and was able to grind off the oil stains.
