I wasn't too sure what service to choose from but I'm glad I decided to go with the healing massage with the Master. I have been needed my upper back cracked in a certain spot for years and no one could ever do it. 5 minutes into my 30 min session he was able to crack it and not in a painful way. At first, I doubted he was going to make a difference in 30 min-he sure proved me wrong lol They are a cash only place, if I had taken out more money I would have opted out for the full hour. Although for my first time the 30 minute didn't disappoint. It's not your typical massage he definitely works your body differently and knows what pressure points to focus on. There was some times where the pressure was a bit much but I didn't leave the place sore as I would have after a normal massage. For those who are spectacle and have doubts, don't. This place is legit. It is a little pricier than a normal massage but you can definitely feel the difference instantly. It's worth the money. I would give more stars if I could. This place is a hidden gem. I came here a year ago and got a chair massage for persistent sciatic pain and got a great, affordable chair massage that really helped me. Then the masseuse said that the "master" was there and he spent 10 mins or so after the massage doing some work on me. He is an incredibly intuitive bodyworker. I've been having neck/shoulder pain for a few weeks and today I couldnt get into any position or posture to work on my computer without shooting pains. I remembered this place was a few blocks away and called for an appt. I arrived and since I was getting a full hour I was taken to their massage table which was made private by surrounding curtains. Now, in a lot of massage places a wall of curtains feels awkward and exposed but the setup is very private, there weren't any gaps in the curtains, they went down to the floor, and they were clean. The whole establishment is clean- the sheets on the table were clean and soft, the face cushion was clean and set with a crisp clean paper towel hygienic cover.  Now the massage: SO good. It starts and ends with a hot towel rub down which always feels luxurious. I'm not sure what lotion or product they use but its non scented and it didn't seem like it needed to be reapplied.  While Im comfortable with both male and female masseuses, I think anytime a woman has a table massage (underwear only, under a sheet) they are a bit on "guard" but I felt very safe and that my body was respected.  The unique thing about this place is they seem to have a sense/intuition of where your pain is and where it stems from. With a lot of massage place you have to explicitly tell them where to focus throughout the massage in order to get what you need (which is totally fine) but the masseuses here just seem to know. I think I exchanged 6 total words during the massage and left feeling 90% better.  $60 for a  60 min massage that's better than a $120 massage? YES PLEASE. I want to try a foot massage next and I think I'll come here once a month. Massages sound like a luxury expense but as you get older (30+ lol) you find that it becomes something akin to good diet, exercise, etc. I didn't take any photos but the ones on this yelp page are accurate. After months of acupuncture after being hot at night, unable to sleep, itchy skin and more, and more than a year of just "living with" it, I finally looked up Master Liang when I passed his office. I'd been told I had perimenopause and was stressed. At Master Liang's I did a walk in and tried a massage, and it was really good. He just has a very calming and warm demeanour, which you really rarely get these days. And the qi from his hands - you can sense it. Then went back for a herbal treatment and within 1 session I was fully good - no itches, easy sleep, no hot flashes. He's the real deal. I could tell she really wanted to help me and knew I was in pain. I've gone to some chair massage places, where they make me feel rushed and sort of like they are just going through the motions. I have been coming here for massages by Ming for a long time now, I try to come at least once a month, but wish I could come once a week. Ming has a genuine gift of being able to tell what areas need work without me saying a word. I have no idea how he knows where to go, but each time he does. He seems to test out a few areas and see how I'm moving and reacting to touch and then just dive in and fix wherever I'm hurting. I've had pretty bad sciatica for a few years now and he has been such a tremendous help. All of my pain is gone. I also am usually really tense in my upper shoulders and neck, and after a session with Ming I feel so relaxed. I've been to many, many other reflexologists and while I have seen some good ones, no one is ever able to crack my back, or any other part of my body, for that matter, but Ming has. Truly a master at work. Also worth mentioning is that Ming's lovely wife (I believe her name is Yan) is always there and is likely who will answer the phone if you were to call.
