Called ahead the other day and they were ready as scheduled. Street parking was available on the street a block away. Paid for the foot massage before the service. There appeared to be a $3 transaction fee for credit cards?!? There is also an ATM in the lobby... The foot massage section used to service 6, now services 4 to maintain distance. The foot massage started off with a warm foot bath before the therapist did a head, scalp, shoulder, arm, and hand massage while wearing nitrile gloves. The masseuse used hand sanitizer on her gloves before doing the massage. The masseuse was wearing a mask covering her mouth and nose during the entire session for safety The foot portion was mainly a lotion leg and foot massage with a few pressure points being hit using a stick. The massage itself was decent. The last 5 minutes was a warm towel service on the legs along with a quick massage of the thigh over the blanket, fully clothed. He had a great technique in getting out knots and relaxing you at the same time. I loved how he just made me feel like a new woman post massage. She also made sure that she wasn't hurting me while trying to get all my knots out! After the hour was up, I got up and felt so loose and new again!! And we're looking forward to get treated on this day. And really wanted to give this place an opportunity. So we came in and told the guy at the front desk we had made an appointment. And immediately he took out his machine and told us we had to pay, which did not seem right to me. And we told him we preferred to pay AFTER WE GOT THE SERVICES, not before. But he told us no we had to pay and tips were after...how convenient for them. Right off the bat this seemed a little off to me. So we went in to get our massages. The lady that massaged me was named Julie, also didn't understand any English. She had to grab the front desk man to translate, which was worse because he also didn't understand English to begin with. How was I gonna explain where my pain was, what they needed to do with me and what were my needs?!!!! So she started my massage and right in the middle of my massage I hear cough, cough, cough. And the cough did not sound too pretty. This kept going all the way at the end of my massage. And it was coming from the front desk man... He had no mask, no protection at all...with COVID cases rising again and fall/winter season coming up this is REALLY concerning. My mom went in to a separate room to get her massage and she did not enjoy her massage at all. The lady didn't even do any thing to her during the massage. She just softly stroked her body and only mainly touched her neck area, but didn't really do anything to her neck. She just kept wasting her time stroking her body. And she said the music was terrible, the music was fitted better for a night out to go eat dinner. Nothing at all relaxing! We both got the full body massage for 90 mins, Julie gave me a full body massage including my head area. And when my mom comes out she says the lady that gave her the massage didn't even bother to touch her head. And we paid for a FULL BODY MASSAGE which wasn't cheap! And to finish it all off, since my poor mom was lying face down the whole 90 mins, the bed rest on her forehead (*which was not comfortable at all, I also had the same problem) caused her a lot of pressure on her head. And in the end, instead of coming out relaxed, she came out with a huge headache. Just a really terrible experience!!!! Also the next day I had a lot of body pain and aches, and I did not come in to their spa like that. Don't know what the lady did to my body?! Not the reason why I went to their spa, to come out with pain! Julie was nice but the lady that did the massage for my mom was really rude. So I decided to call Michelle (the only one that speaks English, but yet still has problems understanding English) on the spot and explained to her everything. She only gave me excuses and was in a rush because she had to pick up her kids, but told me she would explain this to the owners. Very unprofessional how she handled the situation, I'm sorry but I don't care if you have kids or your dealing with situations. You need to be professional and handle your business separate from your work. Unethical!!! I call back 2 days later because she told me she worked on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's. And she is the only one that speaks a little English so there was no point calling on any other days. So I call on Friday and the same man at the front desk answered, I asked for Michelle and he managed to tell me she was not in. And try to tell him that needs to call me back and he says "I don't speak English" and hung up on me. At this point I am getting furious..I call back later and another lady picks up and hangs up the phone. I call again and then the line is busy. So I wait and I call back and the phone just rings and rings and no one answers. I call back on Saturday and Michelle picks up the phone. I just let her know that I called so she could put me in contact with the owner. When I tell her that, she tells me "Oh the owner does not speak English and it's the same guy at the front desk." I just go "Wow!" Then my mom decides to talk to her and and she cuts her off, doesn't let her talk and tells her it's a business line and if she could explain in 2 mins what's she wanted. Really rude on her behalf! When my mom tries to tell her, she intimidates us and says "If you want to get a lawyer, get a lawyer." A lawyer?! All of this is just nonsense and dealt with a bunch of idiots at this place. Not coming back to this place and do not recommend to get a massage here. Fair warning. read more

My experience with the massage was great. However, when tipping at the front desk, they demanded more tip, and kept asking about tipping in cash. I honestly can't remember the percentage but it might have been a 30% tip that they were demanding. Apparently, it is what keeps their prices low and helps pays for the employees. I felt bad about that and paid the tip in credit since I didn't have enough cash. The guy doesn't speak English well either which made the conversation difficult. PROS: - Cleanliness. Nice, clean, and professional as soon as you walk in. - Music. Pleasant, calming, and has continuity. The sound system is pretty good, too. - Sheets. They use multiple layers of nice sheets, so you are never cold. - Customer Service. Kind and respectful. CONS: - Pressure. I asked for "deep tissue" and was told I would get "deep tissue." In reality, this was the lightest massage I have ever received. While I do have a fairly high pressure tolerance, this massage did not even register. She literally just swirled the oil around in circles. It was more of a skin moisturizing treatment than a massage. - Oil. As soon as she started using the oil, the sound was almost comical. The "squelching" was unlike anything I've ever experienced. It also felt extra "greasy." It wasn't until about 30 minutes in that I realized what was happening. Most of the oil had been absorbed, but it still felt...greasy. Thats when I realized she was wearing plastic gloves. I understand why plastic gloves might be used, but it feels like, well...it feels exactly like you would imagine plastic gloves would feel being rubbed in circles on your skin. Not good. - Privacy. At one point, she started coughing and had to leave the room. That's totally fine. We are all human. However, I glanced up and noticed she had left the door open. My leg/thigh was just hanging out, the door was open...it was quite uncomfortable. - Neck. While the massage table was sturdy and nicely cushioned, my head never felt comfortable. After about five minutes, my neck was being pressed into the edge of the table. No matter how much I adjusted myself, I could not get it properly supported. - Feet. I have somewhat larger feet (men's 12-13) and often have trouble with ankle/foot support while lying face down. However, it usually takes about 20-30 minutes before this is an issue. Here, the leg support they provided was so minimal/flimsy that within less than five minutes I was extremely uncomfortable. - Shaking. At the end of the massage, she just began...pushing me. I'm not sure how else to describe it. She just pushed my shoulders. Vigorously. Not in a way that worked my muscles, but simply just shaking my entire body abruptly back and forth. read more

Firstly, I had to wait 10 minutes when I've already reserved the appointment 3 hours prior. Once the missus started, I've tried requesting an adjustment multiple times as she was barely massaging my body... Finally after 25 mins I got really frustrated and just requested to stop. I came back outside & requested a refund for the remaining 30 mins and she refused to. She said I should've requested a diff person within 10 minutes. And when I asked for a diff person, she said the only one available could only massage my head & shoulders. So how would that have been a fair swap?? The first massage I did about a week ago was really good which was why I decided to come back. The masseuse's name was Julie. The second one I did today was very bad honestly, the lady barely gave me a massage at first, it felt like she was just rubbing oil on my back. There was no pressure whatsoever and she said the reason she did that was because it seems like my body is "stiff" and I don't like the pain. It was a little better in the end because I told her to apply pressure but sometimes she would hit my nerve which would cause my whole arm to go numb. The towels they rub with are also pretty rough and it caused my hand to cut and bleed. They also pressure you to tip after the massage. I usually tip pretty generously, but I felt like the "massage" I had didn't really warrant a tip. Overall a pretty bad experience and I wouldn't probably go back after this. If you do decide to go I would recommend only doing body massages with Julie otherwise it won't be worth it. read more

I started going here weekly when I was pregnant and had swollen feet. The 60 minute reflexology massage is so wonderful and includes a short head, arm, and back massage. I'm glad they survived Covid closures, and would highly recommend the reflexology massage to anyone. It takes place in a small communal room but it has relaxing music and dim lights.
