Gentlemen, we can rebuild them, we have the technology…read more LK Technica specializes in automotive shock absorber rebuilds, more specifically; for those of you who have rebuildable shocks, FYI, your standard, from the factory suspension does NOT come with rebuildable shocks. I promise, if you've got serviceable shocks, you likely already know because you probably put them on yourself or paid someone to do that job. With serviceable shocks, comes added maintenance too, are you in need of a nitrous refill on those shocks, this is the place to go. Remember to refill those to manufacturer specs once every 4-6 months. LK Technica also does lots of other work on suspensions, maintenance and vehicle upgrades like coil springs, leaf springs, control arms, shocks, drive shafts, delta joints, automotive wiring, light kits, differential re-gearing, diff swap-outs, locker installs, skid plates, rock sliders, changing out break pads and he even dabbles in welding when the job calls for cutting and welding. He comes very highly recommended within the off-road, 4x4, Toyota and 4Runner communities, which is where I first found them and with the shop owner's history of experience, I can see why. They spent 15 years at Toyota, in Research & Development and Engineering designing shocks and suspension systems. Basically, he worked on creating the suspension systems that rolled out to millions of vehicles coming from the Toyota factories across the world and on the road today. He's branched out with his own shop for a few years now and has made a name for himself as the quintessential shock rebuild guy in town, so when I said, this is your guy for shock and suspension systems, that's what I mean. My visit to the shop this week came with greasing delta joints on my upper control arms, refilling nitrogen on my icon shocks, having a rebuild done for one of my rear shocks and new shock boots. When you drive your vehicle like you stole it, but in the middle of the Sonoran desert, you're bound to need a guy like this who can fix what you broke. Since a rebuild is a multi day job, the shop sent me rolling with a loaner shock for the week while that job is getting completed. I thought I knew a bunch about suspensions before coming in, but while I was there watching him do his thing, of course I asked all sorts of questions and got an in depth lesson on suspensions. No he doesn't stick to just 4Runners and shock rebuilds, he can do all those jobs I talked about above and then some for any vehicle. He's done work on built out Chevys, Jeeps, Dodges, Fords, if it's got a suspension, he's had his hands up in there at some point or another. I feel like I could keep rambling on about this place for a while, so it's time to wrap this up. If you've got a vehicle you love and you're looking for suspension work, re-work, engineering, modifications, this shop needs to be on your short list. So following up my AC stopped working the next day. Took it back to be looked at and they advised I…read moredid actually need to get a new AC condenser (what another shop advised I needed to do and they told me mine was fine) as well as AC hose assembly kit. Thankfully due to the run around they said they would not charge me for labor. So I got only the condenser which they put in the car for me & because I'm unemployed and money is tight and just recently got the AC hose assembly. Added Freon and again my AC worked for ONE day. Then replaced another AC hose because that's the last thing it could be, added Freon with leak protection JIC & it didn't even work for one day. I've tried contacting this company again because I'm currently visiting AZ (moved back to CA) and I keep getting left on read, the phone rings forever with no VM option and no one answering. So I'm pretty disappointed with all the money I put into fixing my AC and it still not working. I have a toddler and it's very u comfortable for us to drive around in this heat. I dissatisfied with my service but hopefully I can get some help getting this issue resolved and come back to leave a better review. I just want my AC to work.
