This will be my third review now in 2025. I've had them out a couple times and this time was no different in that I received a call back in 30 minutes and an appointment that day, kinda late too which was awesome as I didn't want to have to take a day off from work. The house is 29 years old and the door panels are all bowing (except for the one that already had a support strut on to prevent this) and the torsion bar was bowing and causing the door to jerk really hard now. Dumped a ton of money into all kinds of fixes and maintenance today and got it all done in about two hours. Hopefully the door is good for many more years to come. The appt. was set and Nigel arrived to assess the damage I had done by wedging myself too far to the right with my Ford Expedition. Excellent service! My partner and I noticed the garage door opener remotes and wall opener had been acting weird. On Friday the door wouldn't open at all. I called MasterCraft at 2pm, and they said they were sending Nigel between 5pm-6pm, and he would call first. Nigel called at 4:30pm and said he was finished with a previous call, was it okay to be early? We were fine with that. It turns out our garage door opener was 19 years old so we decided to have a new one installed. It only took Nigel about an hour and a half and wow is our opener quiet now! I did have them come back to do some minor adjustments on the door which is under warranty. This was done quickly and with professionalism. I highly recommend that you have entire garage door jamb (trim) replaced around garage upon installation for an extra fee. This will make sure new garage door seals up tight. The Arizona sun is tough on the trim. I also recommend upgrading to nylon ball bearing wheels instead of factory plastic wheels. Trust me you will love the smooth sound of these wheels!!! read more

Our garage door has been acting wonky (opening back up after closing), which I attributed to the colder weather. Last Friday, it decided not to open all the way and I scraped it while backing out of the garage with my vehicle. This caused the door to become askew. I tried realigning the door, but I kept making things worse. I called MasterCraft because of their good reviews and being a local Gilbert company. They responded right away and had Nigel out within four hours. Nigel explained the cost upfront (hung door and replace damaged cables), and then fixed the door, lubricated and realigned sensors and stops. He described options for upgrading but indicated that we would be good for awhile after his fixes. Nigel was very friendly and a real professional to work with. Excellent! Nigel was great from the first time he came and checked out my garage that was hanging on strings and could collapse any moment to when he started working on it. He was straightforward with the services he offered and the prices were very reasonable. He was able to get my new garage door up and running along with a new key pad and there's an app! So my wife and I had them come out to fix our garage. Jordan came out and he was extremely professional. Gave me the options on my door and I went with the Tune Up. I asked him for a couple quotes for a garage door replacement and he gave me exactly what I asked for. Our garage door opener is probably the one that came with the house and I am sure is in need of replacement. He gave me itemized quotes exactly like I asked for which I am sure was a pain in the butt. I am sure he was here an extra 10-15 mins doing the quotes that I requested. In the morning on my way to office, I didn't notice the garage door was half way through and i bumped my car into it. This caused hung door and I contacted Master craft to get it fixed. They were very quick in responding and sending their technician over and getting it done. My review is mainly for the miscommunication and the quote they offered. Over the phone they didn't mention anything about the service fee for coming to the location. We had mentioned we found your number on yelp and they said we have an $25 off so the total for fixing the door would cost us $125. The technician upon arriving said there is a service fee and total would be $175, we said that was not what was communicated, we finalized for $125. He said only one coupon can be applied either waive of service fee or the yelp coupon and said u have to pay $150. Though the service was good, the price quote what was spoke and what was followed was not. I do not like going back and forth on the pricing when something was already decided. Really good experience. Same-day service, got the the springs, rollers, and cables replaced in less than an hour. I thought I might need the opener replaced as well because it was so loud, but Nigel looked over everything and found that the fasteners on the mount were just loose and tightening them solved the problem. So I really hate to write this review, but this time they got it wrong and it almost cost me $809 instead of $75. So in terms of response time, they did a great job. Our garage door closed on its own due to a belt that just snapped. Luckily, I had just closed my car rear hatch and was out of harm's way when it came crashing down. MasterCraft repair person Eric was quick to arrive in less than one hour and helped me get my car out for $49 bucks (I know I should have called a neighbor). Then I was told that the belt is no longer made by the manufacturer because the mechanism is old. He quoted $809 for the "much-needed" motor and belt. He was getting the info from the office. Anyway, he was certainly nice, but for $809 I wanted a second opinion. I called the manufacturer and was told that not only do they have the belt but that it was covered under a lifetime warranty just like the motor (which MasterCraft said needed to be replaced). I have a free belt on its way and Triple B will install it for a service fee (about $75). Next Day: I received a phone call from the owner of MasterCraft. He was outraged about what happened yesterday. He apologized and told me that "nobody should experience what I experienced and that he was making internal adjustments to make sure it doesn't happen again." His apology was sincere and his outrage seemed rooted in integrity. I accepted his apology. And he personally paid for my $75 repair which Triple B did today AND he reimbursed (Venmo'd) me the $49 bucks his company charged and through in an extra $10 in case there were any additional fees. One thing I can say for sure, the owner is passionate about resolving customer issues. read more

Spring broken on garage door. Called in the morning and my door was fixed by 4 pm. Very pleased with work done and the knowledge and professionalism. Several years ago a spring break happened and those people used the wrong springs on my door(of course I didn't know that) but that's why that spring broke and the door always seemed to not be right.. was noisy and out of balance....
