To purchase the one they had supplied on their truck, they quoted us a price of $1098 and $250 for the install. That's a 122% mark-up from retail on the unit. The mark up on the two models they offered were between 90 and 120% as well. Considering Goody probably gets their units at, or near, wholesale, that's around a 150% profit margin. I expect, and am all for, a company making a profit on selling their customers a market up price on a unit, but doing so at more that double the retail price is borderline unethical.

He did the work himself with the help of his team, but he was clearly the one leading and making sure every detail was done right. He even came back to go over details in person and worked with us so we could pay for materials with our credit card, which made things so much easier to manage. Even when Phoenix had an unusual week of rain, he stayed in touch to make sure our materials were safe. Once the weather cleared, he showed up right on time, suggested raising the patio height (which turned out to be the best decision ever), and coordinated the stucco work so everything looked seamless. My husband brought it to Timber Woodworking Machinery under the impression that they could handle the repair process. He was told that the Festool representative comes in on Fridays and that he could leave the saw there (without the box), and the rep would pick it up and send it to Festool for warranty repair. We expected a relatively quick process--maybe two or three weeks. Instead, two months later, we were still calling for updates and receiving no clear answers about when we would get the saw back. No one could even provide a rough estimate. For a company associated with a premium brand like Festool, this level of communication was disappointing. Timber would not provide me with a direct contact number for Festool and continued giving the same vague explanation: that a part was delayed coming from Germany and nobody knew when it would arrive. I eventually found Festool's service ceneter's number myself and began communicating with them directly. After multiple conversations with Festool--one of which became unpleasant enough that it had to be escalated to management--we finally received a call from a Festool customer service manager, Melinda. She informed us that because the repair had taken so long, Festool would be replacing the saw with a brand-new unit. Finally, some good news. Unfortunately, none of that progress came from Timber Woodworking Machinery. We had to advocate for ourselves every step of the way. Less than a week later, Timber called to let us know our replacement saw had arrived. I went to pick it up immediately and was actually prepared to leave them a positive review despite the long delay. However, less than an hour after I got home, I received a call from shop manager Ray Ann claiming there had been a mix-up and asking me to return the Sustainer box and manual because they supposedly belonged to another customer. Seriously? At that point, my confidence in the entire process was gone. After months of poor communication, lack of updates, and confusion surrounding the replacement, this final incident only reinforced my impression that the repair process was poorly managed from start to finish. Festool ultimately resolved the issue by replacing the saw, and I appreciate them standing behind their product. Unfortunately, my experience with Timber Woodworking Machinery's repair department fell far short of the level of service we expected.

Roderic (one of the owners) is phenomenal - from the first phone call through to the completion of the work. Extremely professional, courteous, honest - the epitome of what it means to successfully and effectively operate a business. In a time when customer service is terribly lacking in SO MANY businesses, he completely disrupts and reverses the trend. He innately runs his business in a manner others can only dream about - genuinely treating your customers with respect, honesty, and dignity. When did this become the exception instead of the rule? I especially appreciate his transparency when it came to our overhead garage door. I asked him honestly if it needed to be replaced or, because I do much of my own service work on the house, would his repair work suffice for now. He thoroughly inspected the door and said that it should be fine especially seeing that I have already replaced many of the hinges and rollers. How refreshing it is to meet a business professional who looks at the long customer relationship instead of the "one and done" philosophy of so many companies. Roderic, and his team are champs! I, the affable homeowner, who never makes any mistakes, finally made an error in judgement, and scheduled a spring repair when I had conflicts, and interruptions. Roderic was open to having his team of Robert, and Steven, call me directly to see if we could fit things in. Not only were they flexible (to a small degree), but were quick, polite, respectful, honorable, and courteous. Roderic and his team were awesome! He came out quickly to do an estimate. His quote for repairs for the bay doors in our warehouse was 1/3 of the price of other quotes I received. He took the time to explain to me what was wrong with each door, what they would do to adjust, and how the doors could potentially get messed up in the future so I could share with staff. My crew was on a job site today and the rollup door to our box truck broke and it was frozen in the open position! I've used them a couple of times. The first was when I used the manual over ride and my door slammed shut, bending the actual door and breaking all the glass. Unfortunately the door was too old to get replacement parts. But Roderick fixed me up with a new version! Roderic called back immediately, learning what my problem was, then Rusty called and came by within 45 mins. Rusty is a nice gentleman, very professional, fixed my gate in no time. My garage door jumped a cable yesterday. I called Triple B as they installed a door for my neighbor the day before. Roderick was at my house in less than an hour and the door was fixed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I will be calling them back in the near future to install a new door. If your in need of garage door work Triple B are the people to call. read more

I had to be out of town for a few days and turned the door replacement over to them. I had a clunky old wooden door that the water had gotten to. When I came home the door looked great, runs a lot better than the last one and a price that was really competitive. I am completely satisfied with the work. They handled it very professionally and quickly. read more

What awesome service from a very reliable company with inexpensive product. I had my Smart Garage Door installed last April. I had a issue with the rails and called Roderick and next day service. I panicked because I have an appointment later today and didn't want to leave the door open all afternoon. I called and spoke to the nicest person (I wish I had her name, but quickly forgot it in my panic!) who once I related my tale of woe said they would have Kennedy come out as soon as possible rather than the later-in-the-day appointment I was originally offered. Kennedy was FANTASTIC! I work from home and was in a video meeting. I ran out to the garage once he texted to say he was here. He listened to me, quickly mentioned everything he had to and he got to work so that I could return to my meeting. He got done quickly, was respectful of my time knowing I was in a meeting I couldn't get out of, and did a wonderful job! I am beyond grateful to Kennedy and Gogo for the great experience. The price was more than fair also. As it was last minute and I was desperate, I expected to receive an expensive bill, but that wasn't the case at all. Thank you so much Gogo and Kennedy!
