Home Depot hired JDT to deliver a door which I had purchased. Then JDT held my door hostage for well over a week and wouldn't deliver it to me, as promised. When I called for a status update, his employees cussed me out and said they wouldn't deliver the door period. When I asked to speak to the owner about the situation, they laughed and said he was in the penitentiary. They wouldn't tell me why he was serving time so I conducted my own criminal background check on the owner, just to see if they were lying to me about it. So by background check revealed the that the owner is in fact, serving time and he won't be released until he's about 100 years old. So my recommendation is to conduct a background check on the owner before you do business with JDT read more

Great job by Korey! Showed up on time, diagnosed the issue in about two minutes, and DIDN'T try to tell us we needed $2,000 worth of repairs. The door was operational, but had started making loud noises when first opened. Turns out the plastic trim pieces, replaced during a house re-paint 4 months ago, were sticking to the door when first opened. He resolved this, lubricated things, replaced the 20+ yr old bottom door seal and did an overall service at a reasonable price. I can't say enough about my experience w/JDT Garage Door Services. I did a very bad whoopsie: I backed out of my garage not knowing the garage door release cord was stuck in the Jeep. Needless to say the cord pulled and dropped the garage door on top of my Jeep (Jeep is fine). The door was bent, off the track and barely could close manually. I purchased a garage door from JDT garage door service over 5 months ago. As soon as I paid the $1300, the company said they'd return and install the door within 6 weeks because it was special order product. Wife said she heard a loud pop when she pulled into the garage around 11 am this morning. I found a JDT Garage Door sticker on my garage door opener (I just bought this house about 5 months ago), so I called them around noon. By 3:30 (same day) Jeff and Evan showed up to replace a broken spring on my double garage door. Jeff said the recommend replacing both springs at the same time. About half hour and Jeff and Evan had me all hooked up. They replaced both springs, lubed the springs, rollers, door hinges, lift rail and certain parts of the roller rails. Jeff explained and showed me everything they were doing and how often (and where) I should periodically keep it lubed. Great customer service and great job by Jeff and Evan. My experience with this company was great! I called early in the morning when our garage door broke. They were able to get me scheduled for the next day. They gave me a 1 hour time frame (between 4 & 5) for the technicians arrival. I revived a text from Korey at 4:10pm, and he was on his way. He arrived about 10 minutes later. If I could put a zero stars I would but not an option. We have been using JDT for years and they were good but this past August 2023 we used him because our coils broke from a new door he installed less thank 2 years and our door was under warranty (he didn't tell us when we called) and he still charged us for it, ($500). He said he would refund our money back and that he sent the check by mail and we never received it. He will not answer our calls! He lied to us and this is very dishonest. With inflation and cost of living so high this past year, we can't afford to pay this kind of money. read more

They came out late on a Friday night when our garage door would not open. He discovered that it needed a spring but they did not have any in stock. It would be Monday before they knew when they could get one. We have a glass garage door that weighs about 250 pounds. Have used these guys twice now, 2 separate homes, and both times went perfectly. First time was a door motor replacement. Can't remember the price but was very reasonable and ended up a little less than be originally quoted me. Also less than Lowe's/Home Depot if memory serves. This time I had a spring break and they were able to come out on a Saturday, night extra charge, and had everything fixed within about an hour. No mess for me to clean and the technician, Korey, was super friendly. They also adjusted/lubed the door and hinges skinned the door is quieter than I think it's ever been. Great service. Patrick came out for a consultation quickly after I contacted JDT Garage Door Services. We had a bit of a difficult job, since we were converting two small garage doors to a single 16ft roll garage door on a 1974 home. JDT Garage Door Service is one of the few companies that I could find that would frame out the new door. Most companies told me I would have to have a contractor frame the door before they would come and install a new one. Patrick installed the new door on schedule and did a wonderful job. The work is high quality and everything works great. He framed out the door, installed the rails, and rehung the existing garage door motor that we had. Wow! I am so grateful to have called these guys. Long story short, my garage door opener just stopped working one day months ago. Since then, been quoted before I needed new springs, the chain was old, and I needed a new garage door motor which ranges between $800-$1000 without including labor And that's average from 5 other places.
