Went in for color service. After the last rinse of my hair the stylist got out a brush and blow dryer. Never asking if I wanted a blow dry or telling me any charges were associated with a blow dry, she just went ahead and did it. I came to find on my e-receipt that I was charged $6 for her to blow dry my hair. Not cool! I think that was pretty shady. I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Charge a separate fee for everything. Ad for $15 cut, but if you want your hair washed, charge for that, if you want it dried, charge for that, if you want styled, charge for that. The guy that cut my hair had to ask the supervisor several times for help. Yikes!!! read more

Chenelle always gives me a great cut! She listens to how I want my hair cut and will offer suggestions. I like that as there are times I'm not sure exactly what I want. She knows how to cut my hair so that it looks terrific! I've had my hair cut at other places by other people and they have never figured out how to cut my hair as well as Chenelle does! I have been having her cut my hair for over 2 years and have always left satisfied. read more

This was nice, but frustrating when you make an appt. and they keep taking walk ins to back their actual schedules up. One of the other hair dressers left to go to the bank and never came back, so the one stylist just kept taking walk-ins. GREED!! read more

My hairs not cut straight! The place is to expensive to be getting messed up haircuts. He did a good job at not gashing me with the scissors but it seems like he got lazy and didn't do what I would like. I know he seen what I seen after he even tried to fix it and sent me home anyway. I like the location of this place I'm doing anything to make sure I go somewhere else first from now on or maybe he'll go back to the boat where he came from. read more

While I like going to Mastercuts my recent experience was disappointing, I got a wash, cut, blowdry and style. While I like to visit Mastercuts at least twice a month for eyebrows and maybe 3-6 months for haircuts or colors I was given a "new" stylist (new to me because I've never seen her there when I went before). My stylist name was Melinda while she seemed nice she forced a conversation with me which was fine. I got my cut she did not cross check her work meaning she didn't take one side and the other side to see if they were the same length. I noticed when I got home one side is longer than the other. Anyway before my butchered cut she did not ask where I part my hair nor did she even part my hair correctly. Then came the biggest shock, When she blow dried my hair. Now I assume that the first lesson in hair is blow drying to which she made no attempt to use a round brush the way it was met. I watched the other stylist there take their time and use the round brush and straighten the hair properly with the blow dryer. Melinda just literally dried my hair which became frizzy and poofy and was going to let me walk out the door like that. Now when someone goes to get their hair done they want to look better than they came not worse which Melinda didn't seem bother by the way she had my hair or she didn't care. I then asked her if she could straighten it with the flat iron to which she said it would be an extra charge. If she would have blown dried it properly then I wouldn't have needed it to be straighten with the iron. I am highly disappointed and will not be returning to Mastercuts for hair cuts or color or anything. I feel that the quality of stylist they hired as of lately is not up to par. I may return to get my eyebrows wax if certain employees are there. read more

Poor customer service. Both stylists seemed anxious and in a rush to be elsewhere. Haircuts were mediocre. Seek haircuts elsewhere.

While I have not been to every stylist there I do recommend them. I only go to Alyssa and she is wonderful. She always listens and cuts what you want. She's very professional and courteous. She is also very gentle. I've never had a bad color or cut from her. read more
