Working with Masterpiece Cuisine was one of my best vendor experiences of my wedding. I worked closely with Chris Lee, who was amazing. My husband and I live in Atlanta and were planning a Vegas destination wedding, and MPC really took care of us. From my first day to my last (and beyond, actually...), they were there for suggestions and recommendations whether it was menu related or something out of left field; Chris was so willing and able to point me in the right direction (He is actually the person who helped me find my reception venue, and it was incredible). The food was fantastic. We ordered heavy hors d'oeuvres for 32 people, and if I weren't busy enjoying my wedding night I would have taken pictures. All of the food was delicious, but the biggest hits were the crab cakes, lobster mac & cheese, Jim Beam meatballs, and chicken lettuce wraps. We also got the Mediterranean display, which was great, and the herb roasted filet of beef display, which turned out to be the most perfect leftover meal (We made like 20 sandwiches and brought them to the pool at MGM the next day...it was perfect!!!) I can't thank Chris and his team enough for everything. I was very nervous about having food delivered to the suite and they did it seamlessly. Everything was fantastic! The process was simple, delivery was on time and the food was FABULOUS! Many people at the event asked where we got the food from because they were super impressed. The delivery/chef was hilarious and set up our buffet beautifully as you can see in the photos. Everything was cooked amazing - but the 5 Cheese Mac N Cheese should be called "5 star - Mac N Cheese, and the homemade meatballs were a hit as well. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would! I worked directly with Chris Lee from start to finish and he couldn't have made the process more straightforward and informative. He was very communicative through the whole process and I never waited more than 24 hours for a response from him-usually I received a response the same day! The day of itinerary went just as planned and all of my wedding guests raved about their service, food, and professionalism. Chef Iesha was very friendly and while I only worked with her the day of, I am lucky I had the catering staff I did. It was perfect! For the record, I selected Masterpiece Catering specifically for the great reviews and their experience catering in MGM Grand suites. It went off without a hitch and I didn't hear a thing from the hotel. Also, I was impressed by Masterpieces "low waste" philosophy, and, as they promised, they bagged up their own trash and it was less than one bag of trash which they fully bagged up and set aside for us. It couldn't have been simpler. They also sealed up all my left overs and labeled everything. The salad dressing was also separately kept to leave the salad itself as fresh as possible. After all was said and done, my favorite aspect was that Chris made sure to load up a plate for both my groom and I, which, even during all the hecticness of the event, really stood out to me as demonstrative of not only their professionalism, but their true care and compassion when providing their services. I cannot day enough good things about Masterpiece. I'm sure that's a cliche and everyone wants to hear the negatives, but this one the hands down best service I could ever ask for from top to bottom. I used Masterpiece as a cater for my wedding reception in Las Vegas. As many people are, I was an out of state bride with lots of questions and lots of planning. We booked 20 months in advance, without a tasting prior, and crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. Any time I had questions or simply wanted to check in and make sure things were still fine, Chris promptly responded within hours. They were without a doubt the easiest and best vendor I worked with. We are almost a year after my wedding date, and I still hear compliments on the food. The portion sizes were more than enough but I would recommended doubling up on the appetizers because they are amazing and go super fast. We also used MPC for our in suite bar service. We had a tiny snafu on communication, but the bartender accommodated us without issue and Chris rectified it on the backend. All of this just proves how great their customer service is, and how much pride they take in their product and service. I had a terrible tasting experience and was in need of a caterer. I was told my venue would provide one but that did not happen. So, my father went on line and helped me find a caterer for my wedding. He told me to look at Masterpiece's website. I checked it out, was impressed, and the first thing I did the next morning was call them. I spoke with the owner, Scott, who was very willing to assist with my dietary restrictions. He created a menu with the three kinds of food - fish, vegetarian, and gluten-free vegan - and emailed it to me by the end of the day. There were items I wanted to keep and items I wanted to replace and he had no problem with that. Both sets of parents, my fiancé, and I went to their location on Water Street in Henderson for the tasting. Everything was phenomenal: the lightly grilled vegan salad, crispy tofu with nutritional yeast, risotto. I also heard the fish options and vegetarian pasta, and artisan breads were excellent. We decided that day to hire them for our wedding. Chris was the captain at our event and very easy to work with. With the exception of them depositing a check early, they were very professional and right on the ball. I had Masterpiece provide the linens which were light pink and light green satin. The linens looked great! Very professional. At the wedding, there was a server for every table. There were also 2 bars. The entire staff was on the ball, professional, courteous. The food was not as amazing as the tasting. I was told the fish was a bit cold. There were no artisan breads...rather breads from a plastic bag at the grocery store. This is definitely not what we ordered. The tofu was not as tasty as the tasting and the risotto was definitely not cooked properly. It was on the verge of raw. We recently hired them for a catering job for a work event and we couldn't have asked for better service and quality of food. I worked with Chris in planning the event but Josh was the day-of coordinator for our event. They came way earlier than expected but they were also able to setup the food earlier than what was scheduled on our invoice. This actually worked out for the better since it gave our employees a chance to fully digest and enjoy a three course meal. The food was excellent. Our hors d'oeuvres had variety of seafood, meat, and vegetarian. Our entrees were an awesome chicken and beef combo with sides. Everyone loved it and there was PLENTY for seconds and thirds. Food was amazing! The Stuffed mushroom, which I didn't get, were said to be the best thing ever. I ordered for 70 and had sooooooooooooooooooooooo much food left over. I felt so bad it all went to waste. We had the meatballs, bbq pulled pork sandwiches, shanghai lettuce wraps (so good), beef Angus burgers (no one ate those) and fruit and a veggie display. This place provided all the table wear too, which was great. They set everything up, and almost everything fit on the main table in the suite.
