We came here to get seafood for dinner next week. The staff greeted us right away. The store is small but they have a lot to offer. The store itself is very clean and well kept. The seafood is a great price. The staff quickly answered any questions we had. There was no options for no stars. We ordered broiled Ahi Tuna, and the Seafood platter ( shrimp, scallops & fish). DISGUSTINGLY OVER COOKED. Then the counter help tried to tell us it was prepared correctly. We also ordered squid rings , greasy & over cooked, to the tune of $60..I also took pictures to prove how over cooked.. I have eaten there before and it's been decent, but last night was HORRIBLE. I spent $70 on fish frys and they were soggy and the order was messed up. I called at 3:30pm for a 5:45pm pick up and I was made to wait outside as they just put the order in. Fish was to be beer battered and it wasn't and very soggy along with the fries. I asked one to be with a baked potato and they forgot that. I have to say that this will be my last trip there as to spend that kind of money and get such a bad meal is really unfortunate. read more

An ok fish fry. The beer batter wasn't crunchy at all, but soggy ( and I had it home within 5 minutes of pickup). The same goes for the fries. The bun is very good (I think it came from marticellos bakery). absolutely the best price on Little neck clams in Rochester and they have them all year long. In the off season they have them flowing in from Florida just be sure to do a preorder. Fish fries are reasonable and good quality. Good selection of seafood soups also. Service first rate. Reasonable prices. read more

We tried Masters for the first time last a Friday night. We ordered two Beer Battered Fish Dinners. The batter was very flavorful and we got plenty of fries. The food was ready in about 10 minutes just like they said. We will definitely return. This is our new go to choice for takeout Fish Fry. Very disappointed. Went to Masters Seafood for the first time last Friday to get three fish fries. They were the worst fish fries we ever bought. The fish was the greasiest I ever tasted. Had to throw the french fries out because they were overcooked and full of grease too. I can't say much for the Clam Chowder either. Will not get any takeout food from here again. read more

Very good food and great quality for the price. Family deal is SO worth it! Their Mac salad is delicious and the fish was really good. FF we're also cooked to my liking which was perfect. First time ordering from masters seafood and definitely will NOT be the last. The fish were a great size, bigger than most places these days and just the right amount of breading. Only disappointment is that we have not ordered from here sooner! Great food for a great price!!! Only thing I will change next time is ordering extra max salad bc the mac salad is the best mac salad I've ever ordered from anywhere. Hands down...best place around to order fish frys from! Family decided to have a clam bake before snow flew. Called several places for a decent price and ended up at Masters. Most places had already stopped stocking them or were ridiculously priced. The clams here were awesome. They were cleaned and bagged. Ended up with very little sand in bottom of steamer. Clams were fresh and tasty. Everyone raved about them. Horrible service and not very good don't go there! My boyfriend ordered two fish dinners a half an hour ahead of time and still had to wait 25 more minutes when he arrived to pick them up. When he finally got them and drove all the way home, he opened his dinner to find that they forgot to put his fish in it! He called them and they said he could drive back and pick it up. So he drove all the way back there, had to wait another 10 minutes once there and then they gave him the smallest bite size little piece of fish. My fish was mushy and the seafood salad was minced too much, almost to a paste. All around horrible experience. read more

Ordered 2 fish fry dinners....my husband had the seasoned cornmeal fish w / baked potato which he said was good. I had the beer battered fish which ok..fish was good, but the batter was doey and soggy..not crispy. The French frys were good and crispy. Baked potato was good. The cole slaw was awful...way too much dressing..very soggy...rolls were excellent! I handed a coupon to the owner and not even sure he honored it...mumbled something and handed me back some coin change ...I was ok with it..all in all it was an ok meal, but have had better. I just ordered a calamari dinner that was supposed to come with fries and mac salad for 9.99, fish and chips for 5.99, mozzarella sticks and fries and added a shrimp cocktail for 4.99. I checked specifically to make sure everything was there before I left (because I didn't want to get home and be missing something) and the owner assured me that it was. I asked him if there was tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. He said there was. When I got home my fiance opened up his calamari dinner to find that it was missing the mac salad and out of the three compartments of the white styrofoam containers only one of the small containers was filled with fries. JUST A HANDFUL for 9.99. I called and told the girl that answered the phone and I explained that I just got home and everything was not there. She told me to hang on. The owner then got on the phone and was very rude. He told me that there was no set amount of fries, but my fries from the fish and chips for 4.99 would have filled up half or the large styrofoam container and my son's $1 small fries had more fries. He said that the calamari costs $7.99 a lb. and that's what your paying for. SO WOULDN'T THAT MEAN WE ARE MISSING $2 WORTH THE FRIES????? He also said that HE PERSONALLY checked and saw that the mac salad was in there. Well he was lying because there was no mac salad. He couldn't understand why I was so upset and was extremely rude acting like I was trying to get something for free. And then responded that I was trying to get a $ out of him because I forgot my coupon at home. Our total order was $30 and I really felt like we were cheated and they are cheap skates. After getting off the phone with the owner my fiance started eating the shrimp cocktail and there was only 7 (should have been 12)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I only had 1 cocktail sauce for a big old piece of fish. This is the FIRST AND LAST time I will ever order from there. A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!
