I had to wait a long time for my order Friday evening, but it was worth the wait. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection.

My favorite dish was the New England Chowder Style Fish Soup. It was so fresh and flavorful. The cod tasted so good with the potatoes, carrots, onions and parsley. All of our dishes were prepared by a very friendly lady who immigrated from the DR. Everything tasted incredible and we left feeling very satiated. Definitely can't wait to come back! Would recommend making reservations beforehand since there's only space for ~16 ppl.

It was creamy and well portioned even for two of us sharing. We then opted for the littleneck clams, which was served with chorizo. The broth/soup was perfect to dip some house rolls! We then ended with our favorite thing on the menu - the shrimp sliders, well seasoned and served with a side or chips For dessert we had the lovely, rich budino. A cup of coffee on the side hit the spot! What I truly love about this place is the transparency - the cook is right in front of you! You can see them working meticulously to put together our shrimp sliders or the octopus salad if that's your fancy I love how cozy it is yet bright and vibrant. Highly recommend this spot!

Firstly, it's late May, so it's a happy overlap of two of my favorite seasons: Oysters and blue…read morecrab! Stormin' Crab offers their blue crabs one of two ways: Either added as a side to any boil (topped with your favorite seasonings), or served as a fried crab basket. The oyster appetizer (sold as six or twelve) can be raw or grilled. I adore them raw, and these are Bluepoints! They were plump, glistening, and had a great sweet and briney flavor. My husband's gumbo was thick with rice and andouille sausage, with baby shrimp. It also had a powerful black pepper kick. Very tasty! The boil arrived on a stainless steel platter in a large plastic bag, ballooned out with steam. We had chosen the butter, medium spicy. I thought the saltiness overpowered the flavor of the seafood, but your mileage may vary. Combo C had so much food we took a third of it home! We really enjoyed our meal here!

We ordered the cajun mix for crawfish and snow crab and garlic butter snow crab. All the boils are doused full of butter flavored oil (not real butter) which didn't allow for any flavor to reach your tongue or the meat. I may be spoiled with real Louisiana and Texas crawfish and seafood boils but the oil was so unpleasant. The crawfish was oily, flavorless, and tasted dirty. The crab was probably presalted and just reheated in the boil. I asked for some cajun seasoning and salt to sprinkle on top but there was just too much oil. I am disappointed with this type of boil and hope I can find a more traditional type with no oil somewhere in Buffalo.

My son enjoyed his Connecticut roll. I had the California lobster roll with avocado and wasabi crema. So good. They come with house made chips seasoned with Old Bay. Very good. Not greasy. Next time I want to try the lobster tots. They have a cooler with soda, beer, and wine minis, as well as a slushy machine. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating. The location at Olcott Beach is great. It's right by a small ferris wheel, and in walking distance to the shops, beach, carousel park, and Krull Park. A great addition to the town.

Well I'm happy to say that I was not deceived, these were fresh and of good size ( we got the sampler). I was most impressed by Connecticut roll and the Fire roll, the New England wasnt bad just didnt hit as hard as that buttery or spicy taste. The kids tenders and tots, the little yelper crushed those and left super happy. The only meh thing for me was the clam chowder, I love a thick chowder and the misses loved this one because it wasn't. We agreed to disagree on this. But absolutely great experience overall and we are looking forward to visiting the new Lewiston spot next.
