There is a good balance between group time and individual exploration time. Ms Brooklyn is so friendly and enthusiastic. She always uses the kids names to engage with them and encourages them to try new things! I highly recommend this for any two year old!!

Tried a free trial class today (for ages 19 months - 3 years) with my little one. I was hoping for a bit more structure, especially having them learn some actual skills that focused on balance, strength, and coordination. They had the kids practice some forward rolls at the beginning of class and over a donut mat during the open gym time, but that was about it. Having coached gymnastics for many years, these kids are far too young to do forward rolls safely and they can easily hurt their back/neck so I wasn't a fan of that particular skill being taught. At the end of the class, they got to play with bubbles, sing a song, and were given stamps. The instructor was very sweet, but they seemed short staffed since she had to balance the class with occasional trips to the office area. The facility was clean, but many of the mats looked old/were wobbly and in need of replacement. The gym is small with just one room for classes. To sign up, we were quoted $89 a month, with a $35 annual fee (they take $15 off that price if you sign up the day of your trial class). I honestly don't think it's worth the price for a self-taught class. I'd rather go to an actual gymnastics gym to take a mommy and me class since they tend to be more hands on, emphasize skill building, and work on following instructions. I also think if your little one is younger than 2.5 years, they won't get much out of the experience. We tried this gym out because it's close to us, but I would rather drive to do something a bit more legitimate. Plus, the prices at actual gymnastics gyms are cheaper!
