I went initially two weeks ago, on the day of a formal to have my underarms and lip waxed. I have wildly sensitive skin and my underarms are no exception. I cannot shave or apply Nair to my underarms without serious issues with redness, ingrown hairs and pain. With the craziness of school and being new to Greenville, I hadn't taken the time to seek out a new aesthetician, so I was glad when my friend made the referral. Note: The business is inside of Body Bliss Salon which is in the shopping center next to Walgreens (Don't miss your turn like I did ‍) When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Crystal who was in the waiting area anticipating my arrival. The room is well-decorated, clean and Crystal has anticipated every need including robes, wipes, headbands, etc. She plays good music during your appointment and her board always has a cool quote on it. I love that she uses mostly hard wax and then goes in with soft wax to give a nice clean finish. This keeps the pain at bay and still ensures a beautiful result. After doing my underarms, I was so impressed. They looked amazing, smooth with no stray hairs and even-toned. I was so impressed that I came back a week later for a Brazilian which was just as good. Most important of all, THERE IS NO DOUBLE DIPPING HERE LADIES!!! Crystal uses a new applicator each time so there is no risk of cross-contamination. I am so glad to have found a reliable aesthetician in the Greenville area and that I didn't have to go through trial and error to find her. I got to the location and could not find it. I called the # provided and was told it was on the other side of town next to the regal movie theater. I get to the place around 6pm and was told that she wasn't here just yet. I sat in the chair next to the entrance door and patiently waited... During my wait another customer came in for her eyebrow appointment. She finally arrived around 6:20pm with another person. And without even asking my name and time of appointment or even saying hello, she immediately went to the back and did her friend's eyebrows. Then after a few minutes she rung that customer up and said "next" instead of looking at her appointment list to call my name. When she said "next" the customer that got there after I arrived immediately ran straight to the back. I figured she had an earlier appointment. While I was waiting again, another customer came in and stood next to me. When she was done with her 2nd customer, she looked at the new customer and said "next". This was around 6:40pm. I immediately told her that my appointment was well over 30min ago. I could tell the other customer felt bad cause she knew her appointment was later than mine, but did not care cause she didn't even ask me if I was next. The threading lady apologized and asked me why I didn't speak up. I kindly explained the situation above. Then she rushed me to the back. This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded. I only decided to try it d/t the reviews here. She didn't even ask me what I wanted to do with my brows and told me to hold the skin around my eyes tightly. I felt bad enough for speaking up about my late appointment so I didn't say anything afterwards cause I did not know her and was worried she'd screw up my brows. I read in a previous review that she trimmed eyebrows too but I guess she was in too much of a hurry to do that for me since there was another customer waiting. It felt very rushed and very unprofessional. I will not be going back again due to this experience and will inform my friends here in Greenville to avoid this place. Oh and she charged me full price...did not even offer a discount for making me wait so long and be late for my other appointments. Eyebrows looked okay but I had to trim them myself. I found her when searching on the website StyleSeat, where she has a profile. I also found her Instagram while searching Salon 300 West on the app. I was impressed by the pictures she had of past hair she has done and, so, I gave the salon a call. First, I am really pleased that she took my friend and I for hair cuts the evening right before Christmas Eve on such short notice. I called about 4 hours before the appointment time. Then, we get there and we learn she is one of two stylists that are still there. That shows dedication to her profession. True commitment to getting her name out there and building a strong client base. I really love my hair cut. We took off about four inches or so and she also cleaned up my growing-out undershave. She was a wonderful listener about what I wanted and what I disliked (like not using razor shears on my hair, which is a request that so many stylists have completely ignored and used them anyway). She was also very helpful in fine-tuning the details to make this cut something that worked well with my natural wavy texture. That really took my experience to the next level. My friend's cut was equally wonderful. As for the salon itself, it is well decorated with cute (and cheesy) quotes on the walls. But I love the style of the place. I can't speak for how loud/busy/organized it may be during peak times, but I know that when it was just us and Claudia, it seemed like a neat place with a lovely atmosphere. Oh, and when we were leaving, a walk-in had come in and asked if she could get a trim. Claudia even took her! I think she's a really hard-working lady and you'd be amiss not to give her a shot!

What I think I've determined about this salon is that it is a location with hair stylists operating individually and renting a chair (this is the vibe I got), so I feel that giving less stars is not helpful for the others operating out of this location. I'm a travel nurse and just took a job an hour away from Greenville, but decided it would be worth a day trip into a bigger city for someone with good experience to do my hair (since I'm new to the area I really only have reviews and photos to go on). I called on a Friday to make an appointment for Saturday and a woman answered the phone. I had done research on the salon and wanted a specific person based on photos I'd seen. That person was unavailable but the woman who answered said that she had availability. I told her I'd think about it and left my number for the other person to call me back. I then got a text from that woman, her name was Sunny, with a link to her instagram and again emphasizing her availability on Saturday. After looking at her work, I decided to make an appt so I called back and booked with Sunny. Remember when I said I live an hour away? Well, about 30 min into my drive I got a TEXT from Sunny canceling... 1 I don't look at my texts while driving and 2 I was already en route so I didnt know it was canceled til I arrived in Greenville. Granted, she said she didn't feel well apparently from something she ate the night before.. the optimist in me really wants to think she was telling the truth so I'm trying not to feel upset, but it was just extremely annoying that I had even asked for a different stylist/colorist yet she emphasized availability and sent me her intragram portfolio as a gesture of really wanting my business and then threw it out the door... I guess in the end, this is a review for Sunny. If you book with her, just beware, she may cancel on you.
