After figuring out that it was something else he came that afternoon and figured out the issue. The next morning James was back to replace our pump. He did an excellent job, explained everything professionally and was finished in 3 hours. He even offered to come back if we had any questions or concerns. Great company that actually cares for what they do. I would recommend calling Hometown before any of the bigger companies. Not only will you get personalized and friendly service, but you will also save money since you are not paying for all the overhead back at the other company's office.

He called the next morning, offering to stop by to have a look at the situation. Nick explained what I needed, what I didn't, and what options I had, depending on what they found when they pulled the pump. He would try to get somebody out in the afternoon, but his teams were on a big job across in another part of the state. He promised me 8:30 the next morning at the latest. Great! I could live with that. He answered all my questions and instilled confidence that it would be working again soon. The next morning, as promised, three guys showed up 15 minutes early and were ready to roll. Scott, Carl, and Gianni were fantastic. Scott asked me a few questions, answered a few of mine, and they got right to work. Nick has a great team in these guys. Two hours later, they were done and I had a new pump installed and improvements made to some additional plumbing. I feel I was treated very respectfully, Nick and his team genuinely cared, and they did the work at a reasonable price. Side note: I actually called Waterflo for a second opinion after being seriously mistreated by another company. I should have called Nick first! Thanks!

THESE PEOPLE ARE A JOKE. I had scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago for installation of new…read moreequipment for today, 10/14. The day of the appointment (WHICH I TOOK OFF FROM WORK FOR TO BE HOME) I decided to call around 9am to get a estimated time they would show up. Melanie said they had some "no water" calls that morning and were running behind. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and have them call me back later with a new time frame. Melanie calls back around 12pm saying that they got more "no water" calls and all the crews were working on those calls and they had to reschedule. Okay, I get that having no water is an issue. HOWEVER, you have SCHEDULED jobs....WEEKS IN ADVANCE. If I had a reservation at a restaurant I would get in before people that just walk in. Same concept. People that call in need to wait. Plain and simple. On the other hand, if I wasn't home and the company showed up to do work, they would be pissed (as I am now). Clearly, this company places priority on bigger jobs that bring in the most money. Forget if you have a scheduled job. If something better comes along you'll be pushed aside. Customer service DOES NOT EXIST here. The company needs to better prioritize their crews (if they even care to). Have a team focused on emergencies and one focused on SCHEDULED JOBS. I urge everyone to NOT USE this company. If you feel like wasting your entire day for them to reschedule the day of your appointment, then by all means call them up. I will be finding a different company that actually SHOWS UP

Our first experience with Plumbums was excellent - we had an emergency issue, Jim was able to come…read moreout within an hour or two and get it fixed, and he was on his way. When our pipes froze during the big storm this January (thankfully, without water in them), we decided to hire Plumbums again. That didn't go as well. Quality of work: The fixes Jim suggested (a series of individual junction fixes) seemed reasonable for the repairs needed, but in some cases replacing whole sections would have been more time- and cost-efficient (according to other plumbers we've had in our home who have seen the work done). And we needed four return visits within our first three days living in the house to address issues that had not been resolved or that popped up as soon as we turned systems on. One problem (heat running constantly on our first floor, making the house over 80 degrees in the winter) was unresolved until I researched possible causes myself and communicated that to Jim, who sent out one of his guys to implement the fix. Professionalism: We were frustrated by the lack of care shown toward our property. Jim's guys left plumbing debris (not just the stuff our homeowner's insurance requested, but just straight-up trash), food trash, and drywall dust in our basement and living areas. This means that the first thing we had to do after driving 3,200 miles to move in was clean up after them. Drywall was removed roughly in several locations, and although patching was not included in the estimate, the cuts themselves appeared unnecessarily sloppy (and our new plumber neatly cuts and replaces drywall as a matter of course, leaving the mudding to us, which is fine). Plumbums did work well with our insurance company to get our claim handled, and ultimately we have working plumbing. But our experience wasn't great.
