I've hired Peter White Plumbing on 3 occasions to do various plumbing work. They installed…read morebathroom fixtures and fixed minor leaks. Their prices are very high ($1,200 to change a shower head and faucet, plus fixing a leak in the water pipe leading to tub faucet). I won't be using their services again and would not recommend them for the following reasons. First, they are unreliable in that they are rarely available for urgent appointments and don't return calls for 2-3 days if at all. Second, the woman who answers the phone is consistently negative and rude. And third, the following situation: I hired them recently to check on a water main leak in my basement while I was of the country. I didn't hear back from them despite calling twice for an update. 6 days later my tenant called to tell me there was 6" of water in the basement and more was pouring in. The water company and fire department were on scene. I ended up having to hire an excavation team to replace the water main. This would have happened anyway but I probably could have avoided the 6" of water, mold and the displacement of my tenants if the plumber had actually checked the leak and advised me of the problem. To add insult to injury, I received a bill from Peter White for advising me (I never heard back from the with advice), along with an unauthorized repair to a tenant toilet. When I called Peter White to discuss the charges, the woman who I spoke with (Betty?) told me they would null the charge but that they wouldn't work with me again. I'm happy that I won't have to fight the charge but found this woman be to really abrasive and unpleasant. She informed me that they had many other happy customers and I should go elsewhere. No problem with that, any plumber that will allow a leak to fill my basement with water and then try to charge me for it doesn't deserve my business.

We had been out of town for a few weeks and it was…read moreterribly cold, and after a few toilet flushes, found our basement bathroom full of sewage that had backed up. It was Sunday (of course) so we used Yelp to find 24 hour help. Integrity does not have any reviews but we called, as he is close and we liked the name. Edward is GREAT. He's accessible and responsive and smart, but most importantly he fixed our problem. He knew what it was (frozen septic line), tried an easy fix (hot water) and pumped the yucky stuff out, then called in others to help him w A harder but still relatively reasonable fix. He went to the town hall to get maps of our septic tank, found it, dug out the inlet, called a steam guy, and fixed it. Along the way he showed us things about our septic system that we didn't want to know, but need to know. Call Edward at Integrity. I never write reviews but you should know there's a person who is hardworking, smart, and can help you!

We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. We were charged $145 and hour + the price of supplies. It was worth every cent to know that everything was done properly this time around.

Our first experience with Plumbums was excellent - we had an emergency issue, Jim was able to come…read moreout within an hour or two and get it fixed, and he was on his way. When our pipes froze during the big storm this January (thankfully, without water in them), we decided to hire Plumbums again. That didn't go as well. Quality of work: The fixes Jim suggested (a series of individual junction fixes) seemed reasonable for the repairs needed, but in some cases replacing whole sections would have been more time- and cost-efficient (according to other plumbers we've had in our home who have seen the work done). And we needed four return visits within our first three days living in the house to address issues that had not been resolved or that popped up as soon as we turned systems on. One problem (heat running constantly on our first floor, making the house over 80 degrees in the winter) was unresolved until I researched possible causes myself and communicated that to Jim, who sent out one of his guys to implement the fix. Professionalism: We were frustrated by the lack of care shown toward our property. Jim's guys left plumbing debris (not just the stuff our homeowner's insurance requested, but just straight-up trash), food trash, and drywall dust in our basement and living areas. This means that the first thing we had to do after driving 3,200 miles to move in was clean up after them. Drywall was removed roughly in several locations, and although patching was not included in the estimate, the cuts themselves appeared unnecessarily sloppy (and our new plumber neatly cuts and replaces drywall as a matter of course, leaving the mudding to us, which is fine). Plumbums did work well with our insurance company to get our claim handled, and ultimately we have working plumbing. But our experience wasn't great.

So when I opened my garage to find water leaking all over my moving boxes I called area plumbers - now I get the whole COVID so busy thing, I do - but not one call back, even from a 24/7 emergency plumber!! So by chance I pulled up Joe and found he had expanded to my area! It was like old home week! Willie the dispatcher is not only the best at what he does, he's like talking with family! After a week and a half of nothing, here is why I love Joe The Plumber: I called Willie first thing in morning 6-4-21, Joe himself was there by10a 6-4-21 he found the problem, located & (temp) stopped the leak, I recieved the estimate 11:59a 6-4-21 and Joe The Plumber Team will be at my house on 6-7-21!
