Boris took care of me and gave me a medium fade, and the haircut came out excellent. The customer service was on point, the shop was clean, well kept, and had a great vibe. I also appreciated that they offered refreshments, which is a nice touch and makes the whole experience feel elevated. Most importantly, the haircut itself was really well done, clean, sharp, and exactly what I was looking for. Pricing was fair and reasonable, especially for the quality of work and service. He takes his time, listens to what you want, and makes sure everything is done right before you leave the chair. You never feel rushed. The owner is also incredibly welcoming and creates a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. I needed a haircut today and they welcome walk ins and so I waited. Wait was about 45 minutes and I got seated. I blame myself for letting him continue cutting when I could feel he was going too short already. But he saw me walking in and I told him I wanted a trim of 1.5 inches all around. My hair was cut MCUH shorter, almost like someone who has straight hair. He didn't understand that the way I walked in was the way I wanted to walk out, enough length to curl my entire head. What I was left with was .5 around the sides and less than an inch on the top. I can't style my hair at all. I'm genuinely concerned at how he let me stand up from that chair, again, seeing how I walked in and just asking for a trim and cleanup. I ask for the same thing at every barber shop and I've never looked this bad. I hate to leave this review but I want to put the warning to anyone with curly hair, not to go here. We went in bc ALL doors and signs were still open and signaling to come in. One stylist (pink hair) was washing someone's hair (heavy set middle age women), later to find out she was an employee. I asked to buy bear oil for my dad. The lady with the pink hair didn't know the correct price and I overheard her ask the employee who was getting her hair washed the price. Once the employee was done getting her hair washed she was obnoxiously rude & told us the establishment was closes at 7pm; it was two min after closing time, but I replied to her all doors were open and signs were out. Her tone of voice and demeanor was aggressive and didn't seem she wanted to serve us as customers. I left the product on the counter and ordered it on Amazon, which was much cheaper. Do better and tell employees not to do hair until the establishment is closed meaning all doors and signs are put away. Shop appeared to be clean, but customer service was hostile and aggressive.
