The entrance leads to stairs to enter the space but I did note there was a handicap ramp for those in wheelchairs. The main floor was mostly Christmas stuff during our visit, along with incredibly outdated home goods, knick knacks, toys, sporting equipment, etc. We didn't see much that tickled our fancy, so we headed upstairs to see what goodies await. We were surprised to see even more furniture, plus some shoes, dresses, a very small selection of men's and women's clothes, books and kid's clothes. This would be a great spot to find a vintage kitchen table, hutch, dresser, sewing machine or dining room set. Everything seemed pretty aged. It wasn't a thrift shop with much to offer from the last 10-20 years, depending on the category. We realized on floor two that there was nothing here for us, so we skedaddled. If you're into vintage stuff, you may enjoy this thrift shop. If you're looking for newer/more modern stuff, you may want to skip this one. On average, clothing prices range from $5-$8. Obviously, don't buy the Walmart brands because they aren't worth it. This is their smallest store. It's in a more rural/bedroom community, so it is easier for me to find deals. And, Treasures Thrift (FROM) is right down the road. So, You get to visit two fantastic thrift stores on the same day. This is my favorite local GW location. Small and quiet store. Lots of hidden gems because it is less frequented. Friendly staff too. PRO TIP: Sign up for texting Tuesday AND email. They are separate, and send out different coupon offers. PRO TIP: Visit Treasures Thrift after Goodwill. It's right down the road.

When I arrived, I was told the items had already been "sold" to a friend of the estate sale company before the sale opened to the public. To make matters worse, a sign-up sheet was suddenly produced that had not been available when I was there raising concerns about whether all customers were being given the same opportunity to purchase items fairly. The situation felt very unprofessional and unfair. The rude attitude I received when asking about the items only added to the frustration. Based on my experience, I would be hesitant to attend another sale run by this company.

He was swearing and very belligerent when we tried to tell him everything he said but he would just cut us off. Then says to get my ass off the property, over what? He was spitting, his face turned bright red. Then he changes his story when I confront him on the facts. He started off saying he said 3 tom and we misunderstood . I countered with 50% off starts in the morning not 3 pm, so he modified it to that he told us to come back for 75% off tomorrow at 3. I mean this guy was nasty, I told him we drove an hour to come back. No sane person is going to drive an hour back and make up this whole story of him talking to the owners unless they heard it directly from him. Such and unprofessional person, last thing he needed was to chase away buyers when he had next to none. I mean my husband had to tell him several times to stop screaming and swearing. My husband is a retired police offer and he said after we left the guy is a psycho. I will never go to one of his sales again and word back from other buyers after posting about him, is he's lost a lot of customers over his bad behavior. The guy is a hot head, rude and ignorant person. I will add, he never allowed us to finish the entire conversation we had with him earlier, he would cut us off and start screaming....

Also, the prices are great. Other thrift stores like Goodwill have steadily increased their prices, but Salvation Army is staying at very low and affordable prices. They also always have a tag sale going on where if you get five items of clothing with the tag color of the week it's five for $5 on Saturday and friday I think. That's a banger of a deal. I've only ever encountered kind employees at this place. So there's that. Sure the place might not be super clean but who cares it's a thrift store you know? The current state of the store is disheartening; it smells terrible. The carpet covering most of the sales floor is so dirty! I am sure it is a serious sanitary risk. While the few dedicated employees do their best, they can't manage everything on their own. The size of the store combined with some customers' inconsiderate behavior makes it difficult. Clothes are often left in the changing rooms and carelessly dropped on the floor, while many items fall off racks as customers browse. To foster a more pleasant shopping environment, corporate management needs to remove that carpet, increase support for the hardworking employees, and implement clear signage to guide customer behavior. If we all contribute even a small effort, we can help transform this store into an inviting destination.
