I love that it's american-made, but that shouldn't mean a 20 to 40% premium over other options.

You can walk any of the higher end stores and everything looks perfect without a crease in a couch or a stain on a rug. How?!?! They have people that come in to maintain the products on a regular basis which none of us would have the luxury of doing once a purchase was in our home. Today we came in to look for a power recliner for my mother. Two ladies were working at the time and one of them greeted us. Her name was Christine Farris. Her interest level in working with us was marginal at best. Yet a couple came in she said she had a 4:00pm appointment with and we were an after thought. She was kissing their behinds looking to win their sale; apparently she thought their money was better than ours. At the end of the day we ordered a custom, leather recliner and they left without a decision to be made. Can't judge a book by its cover. All in all the quality of the furniture in here is superior to the other big box shops such as Bobs, Bernie & Phil's or Jordan's. Also feel that since it is a smaller company you have less red tape to deal with if you need to make a claim on it using an extended warranty. I hope to not find out.

I just purchased kitchen cabinets from northeast woodworking. I have nothing but great things to…read moresay about my experience. Warren the owner was very accommodating. I got four different price quotes while shopping for a new kitchen. Northeast was very competitive we were able to get cherry cabinets for the price others were quoting for maple. The construction was 3/4 all the way around (very sturdy) and the hardware is all first class. The owner did the install with one other guy and their attention to detail was amazing. Best of all I had a soffit above the cabinets I could not remove and they were able to box it in in cherry. When they finished I was amazed, the soffit looked like it was a part of the cabinets. I have nothing but great things to say about this company I highly recommended them.

And he does it RIGHT. We had Warren quote us on custom cabinetry for our kitchen. The price is higher than what you would pay for pre-made cabinets, but they will never match the quality and detail you would get from Northeast Woodworking. Warren came into our home and measured everything and asked just the right questions to figure out what we needed. He helped us customize everything to exactly what we needed. It turned out perfectly. We were so impressed with Warren that our kitchen cabinets turned into three rooms of cabinets, shelves, a window seat and a media wall! And he got it all done *ON TIME* and *ON BUDGET*. He and Steve worked efficiently and were always respectful of our home and our time. We have had several other contractors in our house for other projects, and all of them have commented on how professionally done the cabinets are. We know our woodwork is going to last a lifetime. We would hire Warren again in a heartbeat.

I couldn't ask for better service. It took us approximately 30 mins to figure out what I needed and get a price. I informed him I would like to pick them up at a location near Rt 95 on my way up. He told me that would not be an issue. He was rite. Jim had them shipped to Manchester NH where I picked them up. The store manager Tom Foley and sales Associate Allan Gibbs both called me up to assure me that my complete order had arrived and all my cabinets were their. The day I arrived both gentlemen were waiting and had all my cabinets by the loading dock. We went over the list and both help me load them into my trailer. Started planning our whole kitchen reno a year in advance. Had our cabinets picked out, had one of…read morethe associated help with the design and layout of our kitchen. Hardware was ordered before I had been asked to confirm. I was shocked to find out that it had already been ordered. We never finalized handles versus knobs and what we wanted where. Unfortunately, their layout and product all have random numbers assigned to them making it difficult for us homeowners to "check" that everything is correct. Ultimately, we were not provided with the correct pieces to finish out kitchen. We had to do multiple additional orders to get everything we needed (quarter round, molding, hardware, etc). The quality of the cabinets is as expected, not fantastic but not god awful. 2 of our drawers do not funtion properly and we were essentially told that they were out of warranty and they could not help us. Overall, not impressed and would likely not order from them again without going in with the intention of picking every single piece of cabinetry, filler, molding, etc, myself. Like someone else said in their review - "they will do anything to get your business upfront but as soon as you have an issue afterwards, you are on your own." Couldn't have said it better myself.
