Walked in to "try" some mattresses out and told myself I would not buy, yep that did not go to well. We were greeted by Sofia who gave us a quiz and had us lay on a mattress to find what worked best for us. She took us to the Beautyrest Black medium and we laid on it and the heavens opened up as we both were cradled by a cloud. We tried others but kept coming back to this one and Sofia honestly was interested in what was best for us... well as they say the rest is history now just waiting for it to be delivered... highly recommend Sofia if you looking for a mattress! read more

If you want to be lied to - talk to Charles. If you have a specific safety question about an adjustable base (because you have small children, babies, and/or pets) and want to be lied to - talk to Charles. If you don't want to be able to try the adjustable bases before buying because none of the remote controls work - talk to Charles. If you want to have important details left out of your conversation about buying a new mattress (that it could take MONTHS to break in or that you don't weigh enough for it to support you properly) - talk to Charles. If you want to go back to the store after receiving your new mattress/base that you couldn't even use because it caused so much joint and spine pain) to find out all the very important information he "forgot" to tell you before you ordered from him - talk to Charles. If you want to be ignored about your concerns and told "You're more than welcome to litigate this." - talk Charles. If you want to try to contact corporate via email or phone calls, don't bother, Myra is just as bad as Charles. I would recommend finding a mattress/adjustable base at ANY other store rather than wasting your time, money, and energy with an immoral business and Charles. read more

I was waited on by two different salesmen on two separate days. Both could not have been more friendly and informative. They carry a large selection of mattresses, and both never tired of answering my many questions on the pros and cons of the many different models. The sale process was simple and direct and went flawlessly. I feel like I got a decent price and some extras I was not expecting. The delivery of my Malouf matttress was expertly done. The two men who brought it - on time - were not only efficient; but, they were a joy to have in my home. Never again! Purchased a softer mattress after the sales manager assured me it would still offer plenty of support...but it does not and now I wake with worse back pain than I did with my old mattress. Thought I would exchange using their "Comfort Exchange" program....not so fast. That only applies to a select group of mattresses...but you only find out on your receipt AFTER you have paid your money and it's TOO late to back out. Now I am stuck with a $1000 backache causing mattress and no money to get a new one. I will actively campaign against this place and recommend that everyone buys a mattress online where at least you know they will honor their return policies. Horrible service. read more

My purchase of my mattress was fine. The delivery was a disaster. The delivery men were rude, complaining about having to deliver to the upstairs bedroom. They damaged my house outside while bringing the mattress in the door, broke 4 steps and cracked 2 more and broke the blind box while taking the old mattress out. I reported it immediately. I bought mattress on 9-07-19 and after numerous calls to the warehouse, my issue was settled on 12-22-2019. The mattress was damaged while it was being moved inside. They did replace the mattress. But it is the warehouse that needs improvement. I am not completely satisfied with the outcome, but got tired of dealing with them. It is a much longer story. It was costly repairing my property. I will NOT do business with this company again. read more

The staff is not pushy to make a sale, but very informative. The sales staff up to the manager are very honest and helpful! We bought a new mattress with an adjustable base; a day after delivery we noticed the bases weren't syncing properly (one was higher than the other) and they came out to see if they could be fixed, when they couldn't they replaced them with no hassle. We were in the market for a new mattress, and I saw an ad in the paper that stated that Mattress Direct had a Serta memory foam mattress for $299 so we decided to check it out. We were greeted when we walked in, and explained that we were looking for a memory foam mattress. We were shown all of the memory foam mattresses and given the opportunity to lay on each of them for as long as we needed. The salesperson was extremely knowledgable and couteous, and we weren't pressured at all to make a hasty decision. We did decide to go with the Serta for $299, and we were able to take it that day. Awful Experience.... Three times in a row, they were a no show on the delivery for the mattress that I purchased from them. They could not ever give me a reason. I eventually just called them and told them to credit my account , which they did promptly. read more
