The salesman told me both were in stock and could be delivered the next day. I requested a delivery two days later than he offered. The day before, as promised, he called, (with what should have been a 2 hr delivery timeframe) only to tell me the frame had not arrived and that he would update me. Two days later I phoned to find out where my bed was only to be told they didn't even have said full size adjustable frame at all! They happily offered to provide me with a regular box springs and metal frame the next day at the same cost. Needless to say I was appalled at this bait and switch tactic and cancelled my order. Not much more than a month later after I bought it, the mattress is beyond sagging, it's like a hammock. I'm a tall 190lbs, so like, this shouldn't happen. Researching this on the Internet, all I find are horror stories. Company says make a warranty claim. Sounds like a pain and the run around before they screw me over. I had to put down a $10 deposit and the manager Matt kindly dropped off to my office a 2 x 4 block of wood and some string. Said hang the string over the bed and put the block where the sag is. Right. How dumb does this sound? So I did it and as instructed, took pictures of it as well as the mattress and box spring. Was told that If the bed has no stains and the string covers enough of the block, then the company will cover the warranty. Really? So, I sent the pictures in on a Friday. Amazingly, just the next Monday they messaged me to say that they are going to cover the warranty. My faith in humanity is restored, and I've changed my review for one star to five stars. Matt went above and beyond. Still, very frustrating and stressful situation. Not at all happy with Serta, but Mattress Direct is now OK by me. They did the right thing and helped me out. No team members at this site are wearing masks, there is no signage about Covid protocol or following of any basic Covid protocol in this store, likely because the state of Louisiana has lifted almost all Covid restrictions. I requested the items be refunded so I could use my credit account for items I can actually use. As this will affect my credit, if not honored I will have to pursue legal action against the company.
