Wife decided on a different one, but he saw she wasn't as happy with it. He decided if she really wanted that one he would sell us the display model, only two weeks old, wrapped in plastic, even gave us a discount... That is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The store isn't fancy, but is that what you are wanting or is it a good mattress at a great price? They do deliver to a certain distance for free or a longer distance for a reasonable fee. Go to any mattress store you want, do your research, then go here for the best deal. Best advice I can give you is good here first you will not be disappointed. Tip: bring cash save even more

I have called repeatedly and left numerous messages, sent additional photos with no follow up. It is now April 2025 and Florentina still refuses to return any calls or provide any follow up on replacing the damaged sofa or offering any kind of discount. The staff were all so kind and helpful and they let us have as long as we needed to make a decision. I've never spent more than $600 on a mattress/box spring set before this, but I feel like I just made a solid investment in my sleeping future. Within 10 minutes of laying on the mattress my entire right side feels better than it has in years. I can only hope this carries over for us over the years. They use Synchrony for their credit and I like that company well enough. (Discount tire uses them too and I've never had an issue with them.) They delivered the same day and the delivery guys were just as nice as the store staff were. They were in and out in under 20 minutes, took the old mattress and box spring away and installed our new bed and frame, demonstrated the remote, and educated us on the pieces. They only carry top-notch furniture, including synthetic futons for those who are allergic to cotton. Futons are not something you should purchase just anywhere, because most futons out there are flimsy, watered-down versions of the real thing, which won't hold their firmness for long or are made with inferior materials. Update: My husband and I recently went to Sachi Organics to have small throw pillows for our couch made. We had these pillows made with flax seed and they come with their own slip covers made of organic, non-bleached canvas. The proprietors, though busy, made these quickly and skillfully.

We were able to swap out a layer of the mattress for a softer one, but even so, after several months, my husband and I resorted to putting a memory foam pad on top until we can afford another mattress. I wanted a quality mattress made of natural materials, and I felt good about supporting a local business, but I regret buying it. I asked about the option of returning for half-price thinking maybe they could resell it, and also about having the mattress cut into twin mattresses, but was told this option would be "quite expensive." I was told I could resell it myself, but the 12 year warranty would be void for the purchaser. We visited the store several times before purchasing, but I had trouble finding reviews of the mattresses as opposed to the pillows. The latex mattress seemed comfortable in the store, but that is not the same as sleeping on it for several months- my back and hips cannot be persuaded that the feel-good quality of the mattress is worth it. Also, there are also no exchanges for mattress covers which may shrink with washing. I asked at purchase what would happen if we really didn't like it, and was told it could be returned, but I didn't press for any conditions- rookie error, it is a business no matter how nice people seem. I think the store should have a large sign saying "no returns." I finally decided to post a review to give a more balanced opinion for anyone wondering about comfort in addition to ethical production and organic materials because it is my most expensive mistake.

I would recommend Denver Mattress to anyone looking to buy a new bed because they were so wonderful about their response to the issues. TLDR: There were problems but they fixed them and did it really quickly. This review would have been 5 star except for a couple of problems that I encountered after I bought my mattress. The experience in the store was great, Michael was able to answer questions and steer me toward an ideal mattress. The person that I was with also ended up getting a pillow fitting and buying a pillow. Here is where the problems begin...After we got the pillow home, we realized that it was a King size pillow. The next day we called the store and found out that we were accidentally given a king pillow and not a jumbo (standard) size. While on the phone we asked about my order scheduled for Saturday delivery. The salesman looked it up and realized that I had been charged for a king sized mattress cover and two king sized pillows (I had purchased a queen sized mattress). The salesperson said he would take care of it for us no problem. Today we went into the store to exchange the pillow and that was uneventful since the pillow had not even been removed from the packaging however, when asked if they could look up my order, the adjustment had not been made by the other salesperson. We asked for them to fix my order and the salesperson had to call the manger on call (who happened to be Michael my original salesperson) and he told the salesperson we were dealing with today that I would have to come into the store in person with picture ID since, "I could be perpetrating a fraud." So, now I have been overcharged, lied to, and accused of fraud. I think that the total difference is 10 whole dollars. Why would I be ordering a king sized mattress cover and two king sized pillows and a queen sized mattress???? I would have recommended Denver Mattress before all of this but now, not so much. Now, I have to make a second trip (which will be the third trip total) to the store to get a problem fixed that wasn't my fault to begin with after being accused of trying to commit fraud. Any place that accuses their customers (who are spending thousands of dollars) of fraud shouldn't be surprised when people start taking their business elsewhere. Review your receipts at least twice before you leave the store if you are purchasing your mattress here, just to make sure that you don't have to go through this hassle yourself.

It was not able to be fixed so a new one was ordered. It never came in so the offered us the floor model that was far worse than the one we had. I hired someone to fix the table since it fit perfectly in our dining room. Since we paid for the warranty that did us no good we arranged to buy two recliners at a discount. The manager said they only had one in stock and he would order the second. Knowing the level of "service " we had received we opted to wait for two to be ordered and delivered. GOOD THING. It was going to be several months for the chairs to come in but were told they would be in April. Here we are the end of May and still nothing. Starting in the 70's when it was locally owned, we purchased quality furniture from professional staff. Now it's like dealing with the knockoffs that advertise on tv screaming and selling cheep merchandise. We never received a call in April that there would be a delay and now we have been unable to communicate with the manager and forget about the salesperson. Looks like next step small claims court.
