While the wife shopped, I had a nice conversation with the owner and her son. I was struck by the unusual (to me) combination of "pet store" and "decor store." I was pleased to hear how the dream came to be reality, especially since we're dog-lovers and enjoy finding distinctive home decor items. The pet food and treat selection, as well as the collars, leashes, and other accessories is out-of-this-world. The clothing and home decor items are interesting and varied. Their space is a restored building and that just adds character to the entire mix. We brought home a beautiful blue-and-white chinoiserie vase and a few other assorted items that caught our interest. This is a great place to browse and is on our list of places to re-visit when we're in town next year.

Note that they moved locations recently so the map we used wasn't updated. New location is across the main road running through Hempstead from the big courthouse looking building. Check it out! I'd honestly rather run down to South Texas Tack and buy them brand new at full price before spending that on a used pair, that were already ragged at the bottom. It seems as things are donated to y'all, you would rather move the items quickly to make room for new items but instead I saw the same things sitting on shelves that were there when the store first opened (because the prices are too high). I even looked at a vase in the back, that was one that you receive flowers in and it was marked $6. It should have been $1-2 if it's at a thrift store. Fultz gave us a great overview of the reasons to go with Speed Queen, and pay the extra cost. We were sold; his wife Monica gave me a rundown on how she uses hers for the best uses. We feel we made an investment, rather than a purchase. We were told they could deliver within 2 days. We were told of the warranty and how they deal with any issues that come up during that warranty time (and beyond). Today, our washer and dryer were delivered. The installers called before they arrived; they had a very long day and had covered a lot of miles; yet they were so friendly and got on the job of disconnecting and removing the old ones and installing the new ones. Afterwards, Joe C. gave us a demonstration on using the machines before he left. He and his partner were so friendly and professional. I am totally sold with using TP&F in the future for any appliance purchases!

Gerardo saved the day!…read more I ordered for store pick up hundreds of dollars of gardening equipment including a 16' cattle panel. The trailer I was supposed to borrow fell through so I drove up to the store and was prepared to cancel my order. Gerardo told me to hold on a second, asked me what I drove to the store in, then went out and looked at the bed of my truck. Upon returning, Gerardo informed me that he can get all of my equipment into the bed of my truck and proceeded to do so. He was sweating his booty off but never complained. He even strapped everything down for me and made my life so much easier. Gerardo refused to take my tip, and responded with "I actually enjoy helping out all of my customers as best I can." And that he certainly did! This is precisely why I shop at this Tractor Supply. They help me out wherever they can and employees like Gerardo make my shopping a pleasant experience. Thank you!
