Don't buy pillows from the wrong person here. The salesperson I got wasn't interested in helping. Although they don't specialize in pillows, he didn't explain anything about the ones they did have. When I saw some foam pillows that looked nice and seemed soft, he said they were the ones he used. However, they didn't prove right for me at all, and they were unreturnable. Another salesman sold me a mattress which turned out to be just right. He took the time to explain a lot and be helpful. But I still need to find the right pillow. We moved and left our bed behind because our old apartment had bugs. Thanks, landlady. So here we are in a new, strange place and in need of a bed on zero notice. So let's go cruising! We drive around hoping and praying to find an American Mattress (for comfort and a good night's sleep) but come up empty. Then we come upon Back To Bed in the Danada Square shopping complex. It was pleasant enough. The salesguy, a self-professed ex-military cop clown actor improv comic goth catholic sold us on a typical "to make your decision easier I'll knock 10% off the price" which was fine as we needed something and we needed it now. After tax and all it was just shy of $600 for a pretty good bed, metal frame included. All in all, check 'em out if you can't find anything else. Their prices aren't the best around but they're still reasonable. read more

I am in my 40's and I've bought a few mattresses over the years. I have bought most of them from "mattress stores." The experience has normally been similar to buying a car. ie Haggle, talk to a manager, haggle some more, finalize the deal without really knowing if I got a good deal. Well, the internet has made it a lot easier to do research. However, I almost feel like my research was wasted because I was treated so well. Cory at the Wheaton store was incredible. When I told him this bed was for a guest bedroom, he steered me away from the premium sets and hooked me up with a solid bed at a very fair price. I do know this because of my research. I did not have to go back and forth haggling and I am extremely satisfied with the bed and buying experience. I will be back when my king needs replacement in a couple years. read more

Mattress Firm in Wheaton has been very disappointing. I needed a mattress for my son who is leaving for college this Friday. We came in on July 21st to pick out a mattress and a bed frame. We had a very nice man assist us in the process. He said that the mattress would be in July 30th and the frame would be in Aug 20th. He assured us that it would not be a problem and told us we can pick them both up at the same time. I was worried about the frame cutting to close to when we were leaving and he assured us that it would not be a problem. I paid for both in full. I called today just to make sure to make sure everything was on track and the guy (same guy as sold as the mattress) said that he wasn't sure the frame was going to be in and that he would make some calls and call me back in a couple of hours. I called him back close to three hours later and he said that the frame would be in but I could no longer get the mattress. What?!!!! I paid in full for the mattress that I wanted. He said he was getting in a couple more mattresses tomorrow and we could choose one of those. No thanks. I requested my money back and purchased a mattress from American Mattress without any games. We tried to be organized and yet we still had to run around at the end. read more

I had NO idea the selection would be overwhelming, but Mattress Firm does ensure their employees know their product. My first visit I spoke extensively with Cory. I learned the difference between the brands, the products (foam, spring, hybrid), and the firmness. He asked me as many questions as I asked him to ensure i understood the difference. Cory did it again! He is the Rock Star of mattresses! I was dreading the thought of going to buy a mattress. With all the options out there I figured it would be right up there with buying a car. Not with Cory. He directed me to three mattresses, and one of them was just right! Then I got approved for 6500 bucks 0 percent for two years. So of course I am thinking, hmmm, maybe I should get all the bells and whistles. He wouldn't let me if I tried! He said I would be completely happy with what I bought and I didn't need all those features. Not that some people don't, but I honestly simply need a bed to sleep in! Can't say enough good things about Robert Corrado, Store Manager from Back to Beds in Danada Square West, Wheaton. We purchased a mattress from Robert about two years ago. The mattress developed a sag in the middle, we reviewed the warranty and realized that the mattress was still covered under warranty. Just bought two mattresses from Mike who is also the store manager. He was great to work with and gave us a very fair price. Their advertisements that they match any advertised price are true! Corey is the BEST. We came into his store two months ago casually shopping for a bed. We were in the process of moving during that time and needed a new bed before we moved in. We (rather my wife) selected a firm spring bed. My wife loves to bargain and Corey was able to accommodate all our request. He even threw in a couple of awesome pillows. Fast forward one month. I've had two shoulder surgeries on my right should in the past and its never been the same. The bed my wife selected was too firm and it placed too much pressure on my shoulder causing pain and discomfort when I slept on the bed. So, we went back and told Corey about it and we were able to replace the bed with a completely different bed. This time we selected a firm foam bed, which was not available when we first purchase the spring bed. We've had the new king size foam bead and its amazing. No more pain. I purchased a MiForma bed with frame, mattress cover and pillows and spent close to $2000. When I bought the mattress protector Mike told me it would not leak and would be guaranteed come to find out after my daughter had an accident, the protector leaked and when I called Mike I was sent to "customer service" I explained my issue and I told them I also was moving in a few weeks due to my husband being in the Army, they told me they would replace the mattress cover right away.
