5-Star Review for Jose My wife and I purchased a Sealy Posturepedic Elite King mattress from Mattress Firm in late May. The mattress arrived the following week, but unfortunately, we discovered that the underside of the mattress had a tear on the corner. The damage could only be seen by lifting the mattress, so there was no way for us to have noticed it during delivery. I called Mattress Firm and spoke with someone other than Jose. I explained the situation, but I was told they would not exchange the mattress because we had signed off on the delivery. I explained that this was damage underneath the mattress that was impossible for us to see at the time of delivery. I asked to speak with a manager, but I was told the manager would not speak with me and that the decision would not be changed. Needless to say, I was extremely upset and frustrated. A few days later, my wife called again and was finally able to speak with Jose. From the moment he heard what had happened, Jose immediately apologized and said he would do the right thing and exchange the mattress for us. He kept his word, and my wife and I received a brand-new mattress without any damage. Jose went above and beyond and provided excellent customer service. He took ownership of the situation, treated us with respect, and made sure the problem was resolved. This guy deserves a raise! His customer service was outstanding and completely different from the experience we initially had with his coworkers. My wife and I will definitely be coming back to Mattress Firm, and we will be looking for Jose when we do! Thank you, Jose, for taking care of us and standing behind your word. read more

Mind you, we were lying down on almost every single mattress. He was patient with us the entire time and made sure our decision was one we were both happy with. Came here after going to several mattress stores and it's been so frustrating and tiring. Being an adult and choosing the right mattress is way harder than I thought. I wanted something I could use for 7+ years, affordable, comfy, and good for my bad back/neck. Walking in, I was already dreading everything, but Carl was the most helpful person ever!! They just opened on Tuesday 11/23/21 so it's very new and clean. Carl started off by asking several questions on how we sleep and educated us on sleep cycle, what disrupts our sleep, and what kind of mattresses we've looked at, what kind we have, etc. he's been the only salesperson that's asked! This definitely stood out and was so helpful. Carl was very helpful and honest. I never felt pressured to buy anything. I laid on so many mattresses and Carl was very patient and educated us on each type of bed we laid on. We came on Black Friday so there were some good deals! Ended up leaving with a TEMPUR PEDIC ahhh!!! Something I thought I could never afford. Carl is amazing and so patient!! We tried so many mattresses and he would tell us about each one. So I had stopped at a couple mattress stores as I had been shopping around for a good deal. Upon entering store I was greeted by Carl. We walked around store and Carl had me lay down on some mattress and asked me questions and comfort. Decided I wanted a Firm mattress. Better for my back. He had me lay on a mattress that had an adjustable base and raised the lower half. Instant back relief. Also raised top portion that helped comfort when watching TV in bed. Also helps with snoring....Let's just say because of the service and expertise that Carl provided. I purchased a mattress and also purchased the adjustable base he was able to give me a nice discount. Not a pushy salesperson. Very helpful guy. Raved about the service to my sister and she will be driving in from Riverside to see Carl. How far will you drive for great service and expertise? Fill your gas tank .. it will be worth the drive. Four years ago, my wife and I bought a queen size Beauty Rest 900 extra firm bed from Mattress Firm. We loved it, so we decided to put the queen in the guest room, and get a the king size version of the same bed for our room. We visited the Fullerton branch of Mattress Firm and asked for the bed. Somehow the wrong bed was delivered. So my wife called Mattress Firm and spoke with Ricardo, Cesar and manager Leo. They listened patiently to the problem and made sure we received the correct bed and a refund of the price difference. On top of that, they waved the delivery exchange fee. This review is for my experience with Victor, the other day I came in after a long week of being jetlagged after a trip to Asia. I called to make a claim about a mattresses. I had bought previously this year and was told that I could be helped over the phone or I could come in person. I decided to come in person and Victor was the one to help me file the claim, he helped me set up a profile all while I was sitting down just because I was exhausted from the long month I had. He was patient and understanding and he also helped me set up a profile since I had to upload pictures of the mattress. I truly hope that mattress firm gives Victor the recognition he deserves because he truly made me feel like a valued and appreciated customer. We went in today around 11:30 to look at mattresses, guy with a customer says the other rep would be right out. 15 minutes later, guy still hadn't come out. Before anything he takes into consideration your needs and if you have a budget. I was on a budget and he didn't show me anything that went over so I really appreciated that. If I could give negative rating I would. This business is a scammer. My dad purchased a mattress here and he changed his mind so he canceled in a timely manner. They reassured us that it will be fully refunded. It's been 2 months and we have yet to get our money back. Not to mention accruing interest. The only answer we get from the store is our hands are tied. Corporate has to refund and they are not responding to us. What kind of business are they running?
