Ralph Ruiz was very patient and helpful when we went in to purchase an adjustable bed for my elderly mother. I very much appreciated that we were treated well and that Ralph was so patient and not at all dismissive even though my mom could not decide on which mattress to choose from. We decided on a King Koil platform queen size base and a Kingsdown Euro top mattress. We paid for delivery and set up and within two days (from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning) the new bed was delivered and set up. We checked other mattresses stores but decided on this Sit' n Sleep based on the service we received, the items available for purchase, and the price of course. More than anything, it was the service. I felt we could trust Ralph and Sit' n Sleep. I do recommend that you don't be shy about trying the mattresses. We did a lot of shopping and research. Went to a lot of stores. We decided we wanted a Dreamcloud mattress. Out of all the stores the best customer service was Sit N Sleep. They didn't have the Dreamcloud in store but wanted to give them sell, they could order it. This is where it all goes sideways. They ordered the wrong bed, a Nectar, all the while assuring us it was a Dreamcloud. Needless to say it took exactly 1 month since our purchase to get the right mattress. They did upgrade us so I give two stars. Should have just ordered direct. read more

I purchased a mattress on 12/13/25 from this location. Here is my honest review: Upon arriving, I was greeted and helped right away. The customer service was good and my wife and I were treated very well. We tried several mattresses and picked one that we liked and fit our budget. The delivery in 12/18 went well, too bad there's no option to just pick up your mattress yourself since it took the delivery team less than 20 min to bring the base and mattress into our home. The charge for that was 130.00. So, we have had our mattress for 3 days and I decided that I would like to get the tier above the mattress that I purchased. I called sit n sleep and spoke to the salesman that helped us. I was told that I would have to have my mattress for at least 30 days before doing an exchange and that there would be a 20% restocking fee to make that exchange/upgrade. I was pretty disappointed because they sell you on the whole 120 day satisfaction guarantee but don't disclose whether or not your mattress will have a restocking fee. Yes, it does say it in writing but why not be transparent about it and explain it during the sale? Pretty sleazy sales move to me. Second issue I had was if you don't purchase their mattress protection cover (429.00) then your mattress is not covered for any warranty. I learned this the hard way as well. I called to return the protection kit since it had many bad reviews from other sources online. When calling corporate and this location they said that if I returned the protection kit, my mattress would no longer be covered under warranty. So, no option but to buy their specific kit to keep your mattress protected. Another sleazy sales move... I'm ok with the mattress I have and no I won't be giving this place any more money for a restocking fee. I Just wish they were transparent with their customers from the get go. If I had to shop for a mattress again, I would not come here again. Pretty disappointed with the treatment after making the purchase. Please do your homework before coming here and definitely shop around, it's not as good as they make it sound while trying to make the sale. read more

We got to do this cool simulated mattress assessment to help us identify what kind of mattress would suit us the best. Warranty division is bad for Sit n Sleep bought a mattress less than 2 years ago for my husband to help him while he was battling cancer he never got to sleep on it. Only I have slept on it and the mattress is not wearing correctly the warranty division came out and they are telling me that my warranty is "J" so it needs to be 1 inch or more so its not defective. They do not consider it returnable. When the Inspector stated the bed has a crease that shouldn't be there. I'm never going to buy a mattress from this company again read more

Let me start by saying that our search to buy a new mattress was not so smooth sailing, with Presidents' Day I wanted to take advantage of the sales going on, so my mother and I went to the Sleep Number Store located on 13553 Whittier Blvd. Whittier, CA 90605 and to my surprise we were ignored till we walked out the door and was told to look around that they were busy with a customer on the phone. They never even bothered coming up to us, wish I could say both their names but they never left their desk to be able to see their name tags. The same comfort in the bed delivered as the one you select in the store...the bed we received was so hard my back is killing me and I literally have had to sleep on the couch. Upon return to the store I again tried the bed and it was no way anywhere near as hard (not firm but hard!) as mine delivered. I'm told "sorry you have to wait 30 days until you can get exchange for a new one or upgrade paying more money". I've bought from this company over the years and never a mattress problem.
