I recently purchased a mattress and adjustable base from this location for the Memorial Day weekend SALE. I was really excited about the deep discounts on the sale price, so we were eager to get the mattress. Firas was our mattress expert, and he was determined to provide a high-quality service in case anything should go wrong with the delivery or product. Well, come delivery day, the DELIVERY was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, likely just a bad 3rd party that Mattress Firm uses, and no reflection of my sales team at the store. The delivery team was RUDE and wanted to be out of our house as quickly as possible. They brought the new mattress in and removed the old one, as required, but then, when they went to bring in the base, the box was noticeably damaged and punctured. The delivery team said this "was not a big deal and happens all the time ... it will work fine." We opened the box and found there to be rips and tears all over the base, which they insisted was fine. The delivery team also set up the base and took the extra pieces with them after I had instructed them to be left with us in case we needed to adjust the height. They were visibly angry that this was not a quick drop-off for them, despite the damaged merchandise, which I had every right to refuse delivery of, since I did not purchase damaged merchandise. I quickly called Shawn (in front of the delivery team), the Assistant Store Manager at my Mattress Firm location, explained, and Firas was off that day, so not able to resolve our issue directly. With some conversation, Shawn was able to resolve our issue and arrange for the base to be swapped at no charge to us. The new base arrived in excellent condition and worked exactly as intended. Shawn and Firas were FANTASTIC and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for making this situation right. read more

I stopped in to try out the Purple mattress, and the sales person was incredibly at explaining the background of the mattresses, what the different types are available, and just let me rest on my own. I had to think on it, and the salesman was great and responding to my emailed questions within the hour. The next week we went back, tried different beds, and ended up purchasing, again without and real pressure. He even applied more discounts than we'd expected, without needing to ask. I've been hesitating to write a review because I was hoping something would come of this incident...but no luck so far... I visited this store in October with my parents and when we got there the two sales people (one male one female) mentioned to us that they were from a different store in Fairfax County. Anyway, the female sales person helped us out, showing beds, etc. As I was testing out different mattresses, my dad noticed the male sales person sitting at a desk with his phone up and pointed toward me. It didn't occur to any of us that this was odd until I got up to see a mattress at the far end of the store and he got up from the desk and followed us, phone still pointed my direction. My dad turned to walk behind him and noticed the camera open on his phone. My dad says "excuse me are you videoing her?" And he says "no sir I'm on facetime." The female sales person then said "yeah, we were talking to our friend from the other store." 1) he wasn't wearing headphones and there was no sound coming from his phone nor was he speaking to his phone 2) if you're on facetime, shouldn't the camera be pointed at your face rather than at customers 3) why would you be on facetime at work with customers there 4) why would you then follow the customers as they go to the other side of the store??? The whole experience really bothered me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I called both the store and the regional office explaining the incident and haven't heard anything from it. I hope that this creep was taken care of in some way so that this doesn't happen again to anyone else. I will never be able to recommend Mattress Firm to anyone, this left a horrible taste in my mouth in regards to the company. read more

Here's the latest a month later. Two no deliveries and no refund. Just filed a complaint with the Virginia State Attorney General's office. Here's an update on my last review. Now the delivery date has been pushed back from Saturday to Tuesday. We canceled the order. As a CPA, this is a sign to me that they don't have the money to fulfill orders. They use today's sales to finance deliveries from a couple weeks earlier. When they don't have money, your delivery gets pushed back. read more

Once again I am left with no support from the Leesburg Sleepy's and left to fend for my self trying to work out there mistake. I needed a mattress ASAP, walked into the Leesburg Sleepy's by Wegmans on a Tuesday evening and needed a mattress for my guest room by Friday. I was greated by Donnie Masters as soon as I walked in the door. Donnie didn't try to sell me on extra things I did not need. I told him the time I needed the mattress and the budget I was working with. He instantly brough me to the mattress I needed and could afford for a great deal! He knew the mattress he was selling, very professional, very personable! I like making a big purchase thats fast and with no added "sales" junk. I just purchased a bed from here. If I could review only the 'mattress professional' Lamar I would give this a five star rating. I'm not just reviewing him tho. He went above and beyond and couldn't have asked for someone that was better. That being said. The delivery people are awful. Awful is a nice word. I was at work and my fiance was home for delivery. They came in, took the old mattress and put the new mattress upstairs. I paid for removal of both mattress and box spring. They claimed they couldn't get the smaller old box spring down stairs and the one inch larger new one up. I got home from work and was able to move both of them by MYSELF. I called the driver back, who had only left 5 mins prior and asked them to get the old box spring. They told me they where on their way. After about ten mins. I receive a call from their call center. No one can pick up tonight. I don't get any compensation. The delivery process was despicable. They not only didn't do the job we paid for but tried to extort a gratuity from my girlfriend. IF YOU GET A MATTRESS FROM HERE DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY. They try to get away with not doing their job with women and then try to pressure themselves on women. read more

Bought a queen set (sealy) and it's fine for the price. Salesman was knowledgeable. Also bought a twin box spring only and this is where we had problems. We wanted a sealy twin box spring but he sold us a king koil universal box without informing us of the difference. The day everything was delivered we made up the twin and noticed the box spring had a terrible wood on wood creaking noise on one end. We compared it to the queen sealy box and realized then that it wasn't the same brand. We called the next day to have the box exchanged because of the noise, we talked to the same salesman that helped us before, and he tried to charge us a $199 Re-delivery fee for something that wasn't our problem. We ended up having to call sleepys 800 number to get it resolved. They waved the redeliverary but they wouldn't upgrade the king koil cheap box to a sealy box so now we wait until Wednesday to see of the replacement box creaks. Buyers beware, read the fine print on returns. They only do store credits. No refunds. Better yet, go to another mattress store. Preferably a non big box store. read more

We have purchased three beds from Sleepys and two of them from Jarod (the manager). All purchases were a good experience, but we have returned all three of them. The problem I have is from the last exchange. We were given a 120 day money back guarantee and after 60 days decided to return the bed. Initial conversation with Jarod was pleasant and he promised to have the situation taken care of after two days. However after 2 weeks and many phone calls later between Jarod and the Regional Manager, we were getting the run around...."we have a sale going on so we cannot get to it right now"...really? I found no compassion from them for the fact that neither one of us were sleeping well and it was causing physical discomfort for my wife. Finally we called the main corporation line and it was taken care of. However, they did try and charge us $175 for the return instead of $125 stated on the paperwork, and they also stated that the $125 was a mistake and it would be changed soon. Finally processing the return will take 30-60 days which means I have to pay for a product that is no longer in my house. Also, one of their salesmen was very rude when we told him we were there to return a bed, he did not seem aware of the company policy that Jarod had explained. I would give them 1.5 stars if possible. This is a big box store where the salesmen are friendly when you want to buy and are indifferent when they need to stand behind their word - go figure... Thank you Corporate office for taking care of the issue, I hope the local store in Leesburg will learn from this experience. read more
