I'm really torn on what type of rating to give. On one hand I received good service and was happy with the price I paid in the end however getting to that price was a chore. A salesman by the name of Giovanni helped me out, nice enough guy and seemed knowledgeable on the different product, showed me a bunch of mattresses but he kept taking me over to see much much higher priced mattresses even after I explained this mattress purchase was for my 4 year old daughter, I suppose that's his job but don't drag me over to the super pricey mattresses 3 times lol, while I was not looking at the super cheap ones I certainly was not going to drop several thousand dollars on one for a 4year old. Let me warn everyone, DO NOT pay the price that the mattresses are marked...don't pay anywhere even close. So once I finally narrowed it down to a single model, just deciding if I wanted the medium or soft version is where things got interesting. I was a serious buyer but I was in no rush and my wife and daughter were not with me so as I started to walk out the salesmen asked me if I would be taking advantage of the free delivery or picking it up myself, I explained that most likely, if I decided to purchase I would be picking it up myself. He told me to hang on and that he might be able to do better on the price, he went over to his computer and without me even haggling he dropped the price by over 30%, I dragged my feet a bit more and then he dropped the price another 10-12% at this point I knew the marked prices were all just a scam but I felt he got to a great number, actually lower than I would have been willing to pay so I said I'll take it and broke out my credit card. Giovani also cut me a nice deal on a very nice mattress liner/cover...again the longer you drag your feet the lower the price gets, even on the liner lol. I did opt to pick it up myself since I own an SUV with a roof rack and their warehouse was only about a 15 minute ride from my home. Pick up at the warehouse was quick and easy and they help you load and secure it to your vehicle which is nice. All and all it was a good overall experience even with the "discount" pricing structure. Just go into the store knowing they have PLENTY of room to move and don't jump at their first price. read more

Bought a mattress from Mattress Firm and it wasn't good. Returned it within a couple of days and bought another (paid more $$). It is absolutely horrible. Less than 5 months old, it squeaks when you move and it horribly uncomfortable. The bed is the Mattress Firm brand. Highly recommend not buying this bed. read more

John Ohaver is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I went in to purchase a bed for my son. He was with another customer but made sure to acknowledge my family. While waiting, my son was getting really bored and upset and was whining/crying (he's 3). John pulled out some books and toys and my son was occupied. I went to this store with the hopes of finding a quality mattress at a competitive price, and that is exactly what I got. The manager was very helpful and informative, and I enjoyed trying out all the different mattresses. I would recommend this store to anyone who wants a great product at a good price without all the haggling that people usually connect with mattress stores. I bought a Dream mattress about 3 months ago. Did a lot of research since we got new tempur-pedic memory foams at work (I work at a sleep lab) and thought they were so comfortable. Some common complaints about memory foam is how hot they get and it is difficult to move on them. The second may be an issue if you have difficulty moving anyways but I have no issues and I don't feel the mattress gets any more heated than my old mattress. I love it. Very disappointed. I was clearly told by the manager they could check my credit to see if I'd be approved for financing without it harming my credit. I was approved, but was not told an account was opened. Several days later, I received notifications regarding my new account. I never disclosed my income, so I do not know how my credit limit was decided. I was very upset by this and was told I should have known that Mattress Firm could only run my credit by applying for an account. Feels like I've been scammed.. read more

This is my second time purchasing a mattress from this location, and I'll definitely be going back for any future mattress purchases. The salesman and manager were friendly and relatable without being pushy. When my husband and I said that we wanted to go have lunch and think about our decision before purchasing, they did not pressure us at all with any "but if you buy right now I'll throw in XYZ" tactics. We went to two other stores afterward, and the salesmen at both acted very miffed that we wouldn't purchase on the spot. Additionally, we were looking for a mid-price range, firm, full mattress, and Back to Bed's mattress was superior in quality to the same types of mattresses at other stores. It was worth paying slightly more for the better mattress and better customer service, and they were still willing to work with us by throwing in a free bed frame (on top of the free delivery they were already offering). This location also has the added bonus of being on the Naperville side of Route 59, which has a lower tax rate than the Aurora side. The delivery men were prompt and courteous, as well. They accidentally forgot to give us the mattress protector, but they called as soon as they realized it, turned the truck around, and came back to make sure I got it the same day. This was my first time purchasing a mattress, and the first mattress store my husband and I came to was this one. My husband has purchased mattresses before. We walked in and the store manager Gio was not only very nice but very relaxed. He wasn't pushy at all and was beyond helpful. We visited this location during X'mas but we did not decide to get a new mattress until May. what brought us back to this back-to-bed again was John. He has been very professional and helpful. the whole purchasing process was very comfortable. all sales rep were knowledgeable and patient. we are happy with our new mattress. one thing to keep in mind though, is that you need to think about the final height of your bed. ours ended up too high and John helped us in getting a box with lower profile. read more

We purchased three queen-sized mattresses from this location. The quality of the mattresses is excellent and we are very satisfied with our purchase. The reason for the 3 stars is due to delivery issues. One mattress was for a basement bedroom so it was realized at time of delivery that a split box spring was needed. It was a hassle to get that scheduled...the deliverymen brought the correct box spring when I was at the house with two additional contractors. After the box spring was carried down to the basement bedroom, the deliverymen obtained by signature and then walked out of the house AND NEVER SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. I was in the back of the house with the other contractors and our front door was left wide open for 10 minutes. read more
