purchased mattress and adjustable base on july 2 2020 with delivery scheduled for july 5 2020 - received call july 4 2020 stating delivery has been changed to july 26 2020 due to mattress not available from warehouse - credit card charged - contacted store to get credit card charge deferred - store could not change - attempted to call accounting at corporate office in houston - cannot get through - accounting line just keeps ringing - do not like card being charge three weeks in advance - not likely to do business with them in the future read more

Our experience purchasing a Tempur-Pedic bed at Mattress Firm in Oshkosh started out great. However, once we were sold on it, service quickly went downhill and I could not be more dissatisfied. Our salesman, Rick, did a fantastic job selling us the bed. He knew his facts and did not pressure us. When we said we'll take it, and he rung up the sale, I saw he hadn't given us the current discount of $200. Luckily I noticed. He chalked it up to him being tired. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we moved on. I later received a sales receipt via email with the incorrect amount on it. I requested a new sales receipt with the correct total and was told it would come but it didn't. I inquired again and was told sorry - it wasn't possible to do that. The bed was delivered four days after our purchase. The delivery guys brought the wrong brackets to attach a headboard. They told my fiancé to keep them and exchange them at the store. They stated that if they took them back to the warehouse, they'd need to take the entire order, including the bed, back. My fiancé took the brackets to the store, but was told they didn't have brackets at the store. I called Rick to ask him about getting the right brackets. He was on vacation. His colleague, James, told me the brackets are at a warehouse in Cudahy and the delivery guys only come once a week. He said the soonest they could bring new ones would be at least 5 days. I said that was unacceptable. I don't expect to pay thousands of dollars for a new bed, then get the wrong parts, and spend time calling the store to sort things out, only to find out it will take 5 days to get the correct parts. I asked James if the warehouse could simply send them overnight via FedEx to the store. He said he'd look into some options and get back to me. This was late morning. At 6:30 p.m., I still hadn't heard back from James. So I called him. He said he had been busy. Well, that's not my issue. My concern is getting the situation resolved as soon as possible. James said the delivery guys could possibly bring the brackets to another city, and the district manager would bring them to the city we live in. Then I could come pick them up at the store or the delivery guys would drop them off at our house. James said he would call and let me know when that would happen. He called the next day n the early afternoon and asked if I could be home in the next 45 minutes because his delivery guys could drop off the brackets - but they only had this 45 minute window. I was at work and could not leave. My fiancé had to rush home and be there for them. I emailed Rick the next week and asked him to please call me. I wanted to speak with him about my dissatisfaction regarding the entire situation. He did not email me back nor did he call. It's been a month now. I will never make a purchase from Mattress Firm again, nor will I recommend Mattress Firm to anyone. It appears once the sale is made, the customer no longer matters. I'm disgusted. read more

Great customer service. Rick knows the inner workings of all his mattresses. We are waiting for delivery so I can't comment about the comfort of the mattress as of yet. He was extremely helpful with my elderly mother. He picked out mattress choices based on her physical needs, aches and pains and price range. read more
