I had to calm down from being extremely pissed before I wrote this review. Last Saturday, I went to this location to see if I can get next day delivery since I work M-F. I also asked would it be a problem since it would be Mother's Day. I ordered with Joe - the manager. He said the window for delivery would be from 9am-1pm and I would be called 30minutes before they arrived. Sunday, Mother's Day, 1pm, still no delivery. When I called to the store I had spoke with John. Come to find out, my merchandise wasn't even loaded to the truck. I was told that Joe didn't even schedule a delivery date, it just stated "ASAP". I cancelled my order the same day. John explained that since Joe is the manager, only he has the right to do the refunds. I spoke with Joe Monday morning and he told me that my refund was processed - that I should receive it within 48 hours. It's been 72 hours and I still have no refund. I contacted my bank and they even said I should have my money by now. Somehow, each time I have an issue, this "manager" Joe is off and I have to deal with John. John called customer service for me and say told him that my refund was not even processed! So this jerk of manager is upset because he lost a sale?? ...that he wanted to process my refund whenever he felt like it or when I kept calling about it??! I could tell by his whole demeanor that he did not want to be there that day. If you don't want to spend your life selling mattresses that's not my problem, it's yours. You still have to do your job. They need to give John his position if Joe doesn't want it. Unfortunately, John had to experience the backlash but always had the attitude of trying to resolve my issue. I appreciate him although I'm filing a complaint about this store. read more

I walked into the store without knowing exactly what kind of mattress to buy. I was greeted by a gentleman named Joe, who was very polite and not pushy at all. Quite the contrary; he invited my wife and I to take our time and try all the mattresses in the showroom while making himself available to answer any questions we might have. The store was bright, clean and organized. It was definitely a plus that they had free parking at the back, since parking can be difficult and expensive in downtown Chicago. We spent about 2 hours browsing the showroom and deciding which mattress was ideal for us. Joe politely answered all our questions. When we had narrowed our choices down to two different mattresses, Joe sat down with us and gave us a detailed explanation regarding the differences between the two. When we finally decided on what mattress to buy, Joe gave us a great deal on our mattress. My wife even did a quick research online on her iPhone which revealed that the price Joe gave us was in fact unbeatable. We ended up buying a queen-size Stearns and Foster firm w/ plush pillowtop mattress and couldn't be happier with the mattress and our shopping experience. I will certainly do business with Bedding Experts again in the future. read more

They have a decent selection of beds at this location. Carmella was very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing about this place was that there was a bed bug on one of the beds I laid on. It was dead, but it still made me somewhat uncomfortable. They do seem to have some good deals if you look around but, of course, they'll try to sell you the expensive stuff first. read more

We were in the market for low cost fairly good quality mattresses for a set of bunk beds we purchased. We ran intoo Matress Firm after shopping various other stores in the area. We were greeted at by Their sales associate, Stanley. He was very professional and extremely helpful. We purchased our two mattresses at the best price we came across during our research. This branch is new to our neighborhood so I figured I'd check it out since we were in the market for a new king and full mattress set. My sales person (Joe) was very informative, explaining all the different brands and options within each brand. After my initial visit I returned with wife and son and Joe helped us make our final decisions. Good thing I came back with my son because he ended up getting a memory foam mattress -- not what I would have bought for him if it was left up to me. My wife and I went with a Sterns & Foster. I highly recommend testing all the beds because they are indeed very different. Joe helped us get a sweet financing deal and delivery and takeaway of old mattresses was free. The package deal couldn't be matched by anyone else!! The delivery guys had to haul our stuff up to the third floor. I felt bad for them when I saw how ginormous the king mattress was, however, they guys were in and out within 20-minutes!! Overall this was a top notch experience. I wanted to buy a nicer mattress to help me sleep consistently through the night, and I had a lot of questions. Joe, the store manager, gave me a very complete and thorough rundown of the memory foam mattress market that complemented my online research well. Much like the other reviewers on here, I felt like Joe's style was very low pressure and honest. In fact, he even steered me away from the most expensive options because they didn't suit what I was looking for. Finding a commissioned salesman who is this honest is very rare these days. The selection at the store is much better than you would expect for a store that size. Even if you aren't super interested in buying a mattress, it's fun to just go in and lay down on a bunch just to see what's out there. And with the low pressure style, it really allows you to ask any questions you might have and get to know all of your options (not just the expensive ones). I was in a rush to have everything completed so I asked for free next day delivery and everything went smoothly. The new mattress delivery, assembly, and old mattress removal process was complete in under 30 minutes. If you are in the South Loop and are even remotely interested in getting better sleep, I highly recommend stopping in and laying down on a few mattresses here. My only complaint would be that their hours should be extended a bit so that people could swing by later in the evening. But other than that, I had a great mattress buying experience there and would do so again in the future! read more

I don't think this place has been open long, but Joe is very knowledgeable about the competition and wants to drive sales at this new location. He was patient while we price compared online and reasonable as we discussed/negotiated alternatives for our purchase. The showroom is smallish but I think he has all the best sellers in multiple price tiers. We received our mattress and box springs on Saturday and the entire process was efficient, professional and smooth. The only reason I gave four stars out of five is that there are clearly other operators/ locations that offer more opportunities to sample mattresses in-store because they are larger than this store on Roosevelt-- otherwise, our experience was a five! read more

My 3 year old Stearns and Foster mattress split on the side and the Mattress FIRM warranty department determined that it was defective. I went to the Lincolnwood Mattress Firm to get a replacement and was told that I needed to PAY an additional $1000 to get a replacement since the credit I was given was not enough to buy a new (low end) Stearns and Foster King Mattress. OR I could PAY $400 and get a new Sealy. This store did nothing to assist me (a good customer) in this difficult process. I did nothing wrong, and yet was told we needed to PAY for a manufacturer's defect. I went to a different Mattress Firm in the South Loop and was given awesome service by Jasmine Loving. She showed me what AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE was all about and my warranty issues are solved with NO out of pocket expenses. Thank you so much for working so hard for me. read more

I walked in and Bobby was the only sales person in the store. Even with three other people in the store including myself he acknowledged me in minutes. I purchased a Purple 2 mattress, a Mattress Firm adjustable base, Purple sheets, a mattress protector and a Tulo pillow from Mattress Firm at 3 E Roosevelt Road in Chicago in May 2019. The manager, Mimi, gave me great customer service. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Even when I had a few questions after the purchase, she replied immediately to my e-mail. When the base I selected was not available she gave me an upgrade for the same price and in order to avoid a delivery delay, she upgraded me AGAIN for the same original price. They have a 120 day trial period to use my new mattress at home and exchange if needed, but I don't expect to need it. I have long term back pain and the new mattress feels great. After seeing the reviews below, I couldn't believe it myself unless all of them are fake. Recently I bought a mattress from this place and it was bed bug infested. When I entered this place the manager had a smirk the entire time I was shopping and seemed impatient with very short responses. I felt unwelcome and pressured. The mattress it self was on sale and it like a good deal, looked brand new, wrapped in plastic and everything else was perfect but once we opened it and slept in it few nights, I discovered myself in a bunch of red dots. Getting a refund was very difficult, the manager was a jerk. Accused me of lying, cursed a bunch and took a long time to get back at me. All in all, I will never go into this place, let alone buy something. read more

Pros of Bedding Experts: *The store manager, Joseph, is not pushy. You know when you walk into some stores and you feel like you have a target on your back because people are following you around? Well, that is uncomfortable, especially when you are "trying out" mattresses. Joseph asked us what we were looking for, gave us the pitch for the different brands of beds he had, and then he let us be. It was great to be able to take our time without being watched. *Delivery was wicked fast, and included. We had our new mattress within 48 hours. It took the delivery guys 5 minutes to deliver and set up the new mattress, and take the old mattress out of the house. *The price was the best in Chicago. I purchased a Sterns & Foster bed, and I knew the price at each store in Chicago. Joseph said he would beat any price, but his original price was already lower than anyone else. *My new mattress is amazing. I have had it for about 1.5 months, and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend Sterns & Foster! Cons of Bedding Experts: *They don't have as many choices as a large department store, so, I would probably start there if you are just starting your search so you can try out all the mattresses.
