The sales person was very nice but really wanted to sale and never listened to what we were telling him. We wanted a mattress but we also wanted the item that would allow my husband to raise his head and feet. We also explained that we had a bed the had drawers under it and we wanted to keep those. We also told him our bed was very high and we didn't want it any higher at 93 and 80 we didn't want to use a latter. He said they could make it all work. When they came to delivery the items the two guys delivering it spoke very little English so communicating was difficult. He said they couldn't make it work with our bed they weren't allowed to take anything apart and if they put it on top of the platform the bed would be up about our waist. So I told them to return the items don't even take it off the truck. Then I called Mattress Firm and the manager wasn't in so I had to wait until Tuesday to talk to him. I told him the problem and ask him to just credit our account. He then offered to give us $300.00 to have a carpenter come in and work on our bed. I told him no and again ask him to refund our money. He said it would take 3 to 10 working days to refund our money. We waited the 10 days and call him back he said he did the refund and the holiday slow it down so we waited again. Finally I call and he said he would send us paper work showing he did the refund but the paperwork he sent said they would refund the account not that he DID refund it. We waited few more days and I called agin and the manager said he would check with his people and call me back. He did call me back and said for some reason they put it on hold but they would do the refund. We waited another three days before we finally got the refund. BV

I don't understand how someone can be completely disrespectful to a person over their own personal issues and stress. The piece of furniture that I purchased yesterday and came to pick up today had some one else's name on it. When I brought it to his attention and was blown off, I found Ken who was the man I worked with the day I bought it and he helped me despite the stress he was under because the store was very short staffed. He instructed me to go up to the front counter and get the list of the items I've already taken and were picking up today from the cashier. The cashier wouldn't personally give it to me which was fine, I completely understand protocol. I followed him and before I could say anything he gave my list to the owner that still had an attitude. When I tried to explain to him what was going on, he seemed very confused. Then I stated that I'd like to work with Ken about the situation. He asked why, I told him it was because I didn't enjoy his vibe and Ken knows of the situation. He must have taken it personal and became offended by my request because when we located Ken. He told Ken that I was not being clear with him. I restated that I'd like to work with Ken about the situation because we already spoke and he knows what was going on. The hostility in his voice was unnecessary due to the fact I was still being positive and showing respect despite his lack of towards me and my family. He confirmed the list and the item, we were good to go. He walked away to the cashier station. I spoke to my husband to decrease my heart rate due to the upset from his behavior and walked up to the cashier station where I approached the owner. I stated that I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and for his loss in the store, I told him I understood his stress and hoped for the best for him. He said ok and walked away. During that time My husband and I observed the owner talking down to his staff, walking around unhappy and at one point stated to one of his employees "Everyone thinks they are the only people on the planet". When I was checking out I observed him cashing out an individual, he said Thank you and apologized for the wait to that individual. After his transaction he looked over at his cashier and picked up the slips of the pieces I was purchasing and asked me if the prices had red sold tags on them. I told him they didn't because everyone was busy and I was taking them with us today. Before I finished my sentence, he stated well that's why that bookshelf went into someone else's name as he was walking away shaking his head. I looked at the cashier and asked what else can I do? there's two of them and 30 of us on the floor. The paper tags is what you need for the transaction, personally if I don't see a paper tag, I know someone here has it too buy the item. The cashier just nodded his head and didn't respond. While we were waiting to take our items out, there was a hand truck in my visual. I went to ask the owner of I may use that to start loading my stuff. He was looking at my paperwork and then walked off. My daughter was standing next to me, looked at me and asked why he was being rude. I told her that he was probably just stressed and didn't know how to manage his emotions, but remember no matter how stressed you get in life, that's never an excuse to treat people badly. Manager had us try the memory foam sleeper they had on the floor so we could feel what the mattress would be like. He let us know that our memory foam mattress will "puff up more" after it's out of the plastic wrapping. He had us sit on a sectional by the same manufacturer so we would have an idea of what the couch would feel like reminding us it would be different because that one had springs inside and ours would not. Our family was so excited to have the sofa sleeper arrive. Imagine our shock when we open the sofa and it was a spring mattress! This was not what we were shown and not what we ordered. We have been offered a refund only if we can return the couch within 5 days. We have to pay to return the couch - so we have now paid nearly $200 for a couch we did not order. Purposefully deceitful and dishonest business practices.

There was no one there that day to confirm the order would go through and was told someone would call us back right away the next day to confirm. No call. My wife called once again this week, and was told yes the parts are ordered but wont be in until the end of January. Mind you our bed frame has been in the leg up position this whole time. My wife asked to speak to a manager to confirm that what were being told this time was accurate and true. She was told the manager was too busy to speak now and would call later. No calls. I guess we wait until the end of January to find out if we will get our parts and bed fixed.
