He yelled at me over the phone, told me that since I was unhappy about my delivery then he will refund me that charge ($50) and I can come pick up my mattresses myself. He hung up in my face. Later on that day I got a call from a different person that said he was bringing the mattresses. I received them almost a hour and a half after that. I'm happy with the mattresses thus far. I checked them upon arrival to ensure they were what I purchased. I was relieved that they decided to deliver the mattresses because after being yelled at by Andrew, I was afraid that I'd needed a male or even a police escort to be with me when I picked up my mattresses to ensure I wouldn't have any issues. I'm still speechless that a business owner would behave this way with a customer, a woman and a complete stranger. Completely out of line. My review stands as is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. This 1 star review is based on one person's rude and unprofessional manner. I purchased July 8th three mattresses. I needed delivery on July 21st. There is a lot of mishaps between the 21st until now on both ends. Samantha helped me once and she's was great and did her best to help. I missed her messages about delivery one night and I take responsibility for that occurrence. My work day & hours and their delivery days didn't line up for a few weeks since July 21st. Not upset about that. I communicated with different people and received conflicting information once or twice but still wasn't upset. It was annoying but not a deal breaker. I even upgraded my mattress and paid an additional $200...more of my money spent with them. I never had an issue with the owner. He's a cool guy but some of his staff needs to be schooled in customer service. After all of the delivery mishaps on both sides, customer and business, a delivery time was made for Saturday August 2nd between 2-4pm. I communicated that I'd be working that day but I could leave office for a hour in a half for lunch and meet them at my apartment so they could deliver my mattresses. I also told them that I couldn't do this after 5pm as it was too close to my clock out time of 7:15 pm. I was given a window between 2-4 with a 30 minute heads up. Prefect! I called Saturday August 3rd to confirm. I was told that the delivery driver the night before had an incident and couldn't make it in to work but that there was a sub called in that would help. I was suppose to get a call back to confirm those details between 12-1 PM but I never did. 5 PM came and went and as I told them, I could no longer leave the office until 7:15. I called at 5:29 PM to check in, no answer. They called back at 5:32 and I was busy...a mishap. At this point I'm frustrated yes but not upset. I called this morning a little before 11 am to see when the next delivery window was. A guy answered and at first he told me he couldn't see any information until he was in store. He said the store wouldn't open until noon. But he asked my name and that's when things went awry. He proceed to have an attitude with me, was very nasty in tone and proceeded to say he'd contacted me multiple times for delivery. I do not know who this individual is. It sounded as if he'd received complaints from other customers and decided to have a nasty attitude with me because of it. I was never rude to anyone, I never complained up until now, I didn't have an issue until now. To the owner, please teach your employees to have manners and to check their attitudes at the door. To call and receive that type of energy from that individual was insane considering I have not shown any aggression or frustration with anyone regarding my purchase. Life happened on both ends. I thought I was contributing to a small business in my neighborhood. I did not do so thinking I would be bullied over the phone over this purchase.

It turns out the bed I wanted wasn't the right one and he helped us get the one that's perfect for us. We had an issue with delivery so he contacted us and offered us a free pillow since the mix-up caused problems for us. I love my pillow and sleep with it everyday. Our new bed, adjustable frame, sheets and pillow are FABULOUS! When my husband snores, click, I move the head of the bed up and he stops!! Woohoo!! No more nights awake because of his non-stop noise. I had to go to Cops and currently they are on Run. Don't give a penny to these guys. Here is the entire story-. Amber and Carlos (Store manager) did the deal for certain furniture. Amber asked for the complete payment before delivery and Carlos insisted as well. They also said if I pay upfront by cash so they will give me more discount so I paid 1000 dollars in Cash, 4650 Dollars in Check and 100 dollars from credit card. By August 1st week when I received my credit card bill I discovered that they had charged 150 dollars from credit card so I called Carlos (Manager) for the same and he told me that they are in process of changing the location. He did not share any contact information of Amber who was the owner and whom I dealt with. I tried to follow up many times but the frequency of answering the calls dropped. I tried to contact Mattress & Furniture Liquidators by all possible means (Facebook, Phone calls, Company's website) but all in vain. Although they initially mentioned on Facebook page that they will deliver my stuff on time (25th of August) but later they removed their Facebook account too. After multiple follow-ups, Carlos told me that the he is quitting his job and after insisting a lot he shared Amber's Contact number. When I called Amber (owner) she abused me and said that she has nothing to do with Mattress & Furniture Liquidator and her fiancé (Blake Pendergrust) is the owner now. I had no choice but to reach out to him on Facebook as I did not have his contact number. He replied on Facebook that my furniture will be delivered but later he never replied. Eventually, he blocked me from Facebook. Now I have no one to go to. Over the period, we (Me and my wife) had a lot of mental stress and no furniture is delivered. We feel cheated.

I'm sure he had much better things to do than carrying my mattress, frame and boxspring up three flights of stairs, but he agreed to do it with no hesitation. He even took the time to stay in my formerly empty bedroom, set up the frame for me, and that was above and beyond. Updating the review to 4 stars to reflect Brian's quick response to the situation and his team's excellent customer service! I think my experience was probably a one off. I feel truly grateful that everyone has done everything they can to over correct an issue that was not in their control. I would definitely shop here again knowing that this is an honest business that truly cares about their customers!
