The recliner soafer we paid 2100.00 for is garbage. One side is totally flat! I wish these people were put out of business!! They've lost a lot of business just by friends coming over and looking at this thin. This thing is only 4 months old. I had a recliner sofa from Levitz years ag that lasted 25 yrs and no sinking. I'm so irate now that I will be contacting the tv channels to get this out. How dare they rob people and then don't stand by their garbage!!! Update: This place had somebody come out and put a piece of foam under the seat. In two days it was right back to where it was. I was asked by the company to take the review down. I did it in good faith that this would be repaired. I'm in the process of calling the AG amongst others to report this since I was told they could only come back once to try to fix it. Relatively poor communication. Could be a number of factors in the mix. Have bought a number of mattresses from these people. I suspect they are suffering with lack of product and lack of personnel all around due to pandemic. read more

I've bought a couple things here in the past. I think the stuff is pretty good quality and definitely cheaper $$ than the big name stores. Once a motor in my recliner broke and the went out of there way (in my opinion) to fix it. I like the place. I think it's worth checking it out. read more

We purchased a mattress and loveseat recliner in October 2017 ...... the mattress started sagging shortly after and was replaced after we were told to rotate it .... the loveseat has always made a noise when closing it and the cushion lost all of its fullness .... we were sent new cushions from the manufacturer but had to hire someone to install.... and he wouldn't install because it was not quality foam .... the upholsterer did what he could but a few weeks later the same problem .... called Jack again and was informed it was now the manufacturers concern since the warranty had expired ..... they said it was the sellers problem ..... we now have a very expensive paperweight ..... and did not appreciate jack sending his brother out to us to tell us the same thing .... standing right over me as to "bully" me ... that's how it felt ....... This is a great little family run business. I've been trying to get in the habit of buying from small, locally owned companies. Everyone complains about the large corporations and how evil they are, and if people simply stopped shopping at them, the problem would be solved. I've bought 3 mattresses here over the last 6 or 7 years as well as a living room set and kitchen table and chairs. The quality is excellent and the prices are very fair for the level of quality. Everything has arrived on time as promised and all three mattresses were in stock items so I was able to take them home same day. I tell everyone I can about this place, it's def worth checking out if you're furniture shopping and you can even grab a bite to eat and drink at a very good restaurant next door. read more

Don't waste your time!!!! My husband and I ordered a coffee table from Mattress Warehouse. When we ordered it, we were told it would be about 3-5 weeks for it to come in, but the man working there felt confident it would be on the earlier side, as he told us he would be placing the order that night. 3 Weeks later, we call to get a status, and we are told it won't be in yet, and that it wouldn't be in until the 1st week of June (6 weeks from time of order). We waited, and we get into the first days of June and still have no phone call. We call to get a status, where we are told it's just not in yet. We go in to the store to figure out what's going on. Turns out, they hadn't even ordered the table yet. They were waiting for more orders to come in so it would give them a lower shipping cost!!! This is disgusting. They lied, took our money most likely to keep their heads afloat, and didn't even order our table after we had multiple follow ups on the status. We demanded our money back and will NEVER return!!! Unacceptable way of doing business, poor customer service. A coffee table should never be so difficult to buy! With so many other furniture stores around, this place is sure to SINK! I purchased my daughters bedroom set from here and when it came in the were prompt in calling to set up delivery. Unfortunately my mom passed away so I had to have them hold off on delivery while I was traveling out of state. They told me to call back when I was ready for delivery. I needed to furnish a whole apartment and I had looked at other stores (Jordan's, Bernie & Phyl's, consignment stores & Craigslist) and they just couldn't be beat! Don't deal with them! I received the most unprofessional treatment as a customer when I called today at 2:00 p.m. to check on the status of a 6-week old order. I was told that they could not tell me right then the status of the order (fine, I get that they might need to check) and they would "call back - but can't promise it will be today." I asked that they at least confirm that the order was put in 6 weeks ago as they had my $400.00 deposit. He said he could not do that as he didn't put the order in and would not even assure me that he would get back to me back to me by the end of the day with that information. How can they not even have that info easily accessible? No apologies or any understanding that this raised considerable concerns on my part, as they have had my $400.00 deposit for 6 weeks. Incredible. The person was exceedingly rude to me on the phone. Told me I would not dictate his "business practices" when I suggested that it was not acceptable that he have my money for 6 weeks and not even be able to confirm the order was put in by the end of the day. Business practices? Maybe he was just having a bad day, but sheesh won't be in business for much longer with that kind of practice. read more

Wouldn't even give them one star if I didn't have to to write this review. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at Mattress Warehouse. They are nice and helpful when you go to the store to buy, but when you try to find out where your order is 2 months later they don't even bother to check or look into it for you. Jack was extremely rude and unhelpful and tried to shoo me out of the store when I went to check on my order. He basically told me to just cancel my order because he had no idea when my mirror for my bureau would arrive since "trucks come in and out every day". I have worked in retail for over 30 years myself and I have never, and would never, treat a customer the way I was treated here. Completely unacceptable. Just bought a new queen mattress from Mattress Warehouse and the folks here were a pleasure to work with the whole way through--top notch customer service! They were able to squeeze me in for a same day delivery, and even called to follow up when they heard from the delivery team that the mattress didn't quite fit in our antique headboard set.
