The gent going through bills off to the side was a bit brusque, but the lady at the register was very sweet. They quoted an *extremely* reasonable price for the fix. They said it might take two weeks, but they got it done in one. And my lamp is back to its healthy, non-shocking ways. Go there. And bring your poor, your tired, your huddled lamps, yearning to be fixed.

Finally it dawned on me that there's people out there who fix these things - I took it to Appleton, and the rest is history. They are incredibly nice there, and while they said it would take a few days to fix, it turned out they were able to sneak it in between larger projects and the lamp got repaired by the next day. Not bad! Basically, I would say that they were very knowledgeable, extremely welcoming and affable people with excellent customer service, and as far as I can tell, they charged a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again as they certainly have earned a repeat customer (just hoping that I won't have any more broken lamps, haha).

The location is also very convenient, as it's in a large plaza with several other great stores nearby. My only real criticism is the clearance section. It seems fairly limited at this particular location, especially compared with other HomeSense locations I've visited where the clearance sections are much larger. I also feel that some of the clearance pricing here is still higher than I would expect. For example, I saw a large rug originally priced at $600 that had a significant hole in it--large enough that it looked like two sizable pieces were missing. It was marked down to $400, which, in my personal opinion, still seemed quite high for a rug with that substantial of a defect. Overall, I really like this HomeSense and will continue to shop here. I just wish there were more clearance items and that the markdowns reflected the condition of heavily damaged merchandise a little more.

Customer service is lacking from ikea. I have been dealing with a kitchen that is only 50% usable due to installation for 6 months and ikea stopped responding 4 months ago. You can find furniture, books, kitchenware, music (variety of vinyl), clothing, and all sorts of antiques. You could definitely spend hours here, as the place is quite large. Most of the businesses are on the first floor, while there are other businesses (like photography and music recording rooms) on upper floors. There's also a music lounge, though I haven't been. And hey, if you can't find anything here, or if you have kids that are fussy, there's Hometown Arcade for old school (and some newer) arcade and video games. (Not really public transportation friendly, though there's a commuter rail station about a 20 minute walk away)

Unfortunately we had a bad spill and damage so they came out and said they'd repaced the couch. This was during covid and Jordan's had very limited choices for replacement. The replacement couch from Jordan's, turned out to be a lemon it's had so many issues the repair techs have been out 2-3 times so by now the wedge is bolted to the rest of the couch and we can't even move it. As to color, it was light grey, almost white but it was my only color choice during Covid, so I was glad I had the insurance because it would show every stain. Well, 4 years later, I recently noticed multiple stains on the couch and even Jordan's furniture tech agreed there were many and this was reported to Jordan's in a timely manner. Protect All required many pictures over 3 months. However, this time the decision was NO, Protect All and Jordan's won't stand behind the agreement. They will give me a credit. Wow, great. I don't think $800 is going to pay for a new couch with 4 recliners, and a wedge. So everyone, go ahead, buy expensive furniture at Jordans, even buy the insurance but if you need it more than once, forget it. Now I'm forced to look at a very expensive, spotted white couch bought during covid as an insured replacement, but neither company will honor, "repair or replace".

I know the prices are high but to have EMPTY REFRIGERATORS, till I asked one of the Managers in the area. According to him the store lost power NOT TARGETS FAULT BUT NATIONAL GRID! So, they estimated that 1/4 of a MILLION DOLLARS OF MEATS and all other refrigerator items were thrown in the dumpster! What's extremely disturbing is that some of the public was trying to salvage some of that food!!! With many people suffering from Food INSECURITY ALL WAS DISPOSED! TARGETS REASON: LIABILITY! Why don't they have anyone that wanted to salvage the waste to sign waivers or donate what was sealed and vacuum packed! Just cause it was 6 hours without refrigeration I'm sure it was still healthy to eat and feed just think what A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS OF FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN SUPER BENEFICIAL! Sorry to hear this from actual Target employees and they feel the same way! What a tremendous WASTE! If they took it upon themselves to forgo LIABILITY FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THOSE STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET!
