They have a Tempur-Pedic, which they both have highly recommended for years, and after doing some research on a few different types of mattresses, I was pretty much sold. I know that generally speaking, mattress companies dictate the prices, so there isn't a lot of variance from store to store, but I did want to check around at a few places to see what kind of freebies we could get (delivery, frame, pillows). So we started here. Now I'm a shopping gal. I love shopping, for anything and everything. But I don't like pushy salespeople. Who does?? And especially who does, when you're rolling around on mattresses?? We went on a weekend night, and were the only people in the whole dang store. The salesman actually seemed like a nice guy, but so desperate for a sale. When he asked what we were interested in, we mentioned Tempur-Pedic, and he immediately brought us over to the most expensive *naturally* model, which was somewhere in the neighborhood of $7000. For a bed. That isn't made of GOLD. It just went downhill from there, with him not leaving us alone for a second, and just watching us while we tried out mattresses. It was kinda creepy, I don't mind telling you. After he had given us the whole shpeel, we told him we'd be back, and he informed us that if we wanted to "take advantage of the WEEKEND deal" *you guys have heard the Sleepy's commercials, right? They have a "sale" going all the time!*, we'd have to give him our information, and he could put us in the computer, blah blah. We were hesitant, but because the package price for everything wasn't bad, we were ok with it. Oh dear Lord. It took the poor guy forever, and then for some reason unknown to us, he was calling his district manager? to "confirm the price"? As soon as he said "My manager wants to know why you are hesitant to buy the bed tonight.", I was out. We made some crap up, and hauled tushy. I HATE pushiness, and I see no need for it. We probably would have bought the bed from them, cuz the price was pretty good, but that was a deal-breaker. Isn't it sort of ironic? You're buying something for comfort, peacefulness, and rest, and it's this stressful, uncomfortable experience?? Yucky. No "Sleepy's" for me! *Gawd, I'm witty! ;0)*

In today's world, where almost everyone carries a phone with a camera, being recorded has become very easy and common. However, when someone records another person without permission--especially when there is no clear reason--it can feel like a violation of personal space and privacy. The situation started like an ordinary day. I was going about my business, not doing anything unusual or wrong. Suddenly, I noticed someone nearby holding their phone up and pointing it directly toward me. At first, I thought maybe they were texting or taking a picture of something behind me. But after watching for a moment, it became clear that the camera was focused on me. The person wasn't speaking to me, explaining what they were doing, or asking for permission. They were simply recording. This immediately made me feel uneasy. When someone records you without explanation, it raises a lot of questions. Why are they filming me? What do they plan to do with the video? Will they post it online or share it with others? In a time when videos can quickly spread across social media, the idea that a private moment could be shared publicly is worrying. Even if the person had no harmful intentions, the lack of communication created uncertainty and discomfort. Another reason this situation felt wrong is that everyone deserves a basic level of respect and privacy. While public places often allow photography and recording, that doesn't mean it is always respectful to record someone without their knowledge or consent. People should think about how their actions affect others. A simple conversation or request--like asking, "Do you mind if I record this?"--can make a big difference in how the situation feels. The experience also made me think about how technology has changed the way people interact. Cameras used to be larger and more noticeable, so people were more aware when they were being filmed. Now, with smartphones, recording someone can happen instantly and quietly. Because of this, it is more important than ever for people to use technology responsibly and consider the privacy and feelings of others. In the end, being recorded for no reason was a small moment, but it left a lasting impression on me. It reminded me how important respect, communication, and personal boundaries are in everyday life. Technology gives us powerful tools, but it also comes with responsibility. Recording others without explanation may seem harmless to some people, but to the person being recorded, it can feel intrusive and unsettling. Respecting others' privacy should always come first.

They had so many cute, comfy, and surprisingly affordable pieces that I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to actually purchase soon. The workers were welcoming and helpful right when you walk in, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed instead of overwhelming. Also loved the little extras like the free snacks, and the two floors full of setups honestly make you want to move right in. Definitely worth stopping by if you're furniture shopping or even just looking for inspiration.

Great experience, with really helpful employees and surprisingly affordable couches…read more We went in for a new couch, and were helped by Garfield, who I really appreciated showing us the used models before anything more expensive. He helped us move around the sectionals, experiment with pulling out the sleeper sofas, and rearrange the recliners. We didn't feel at all pushed into something we didn't want -- when we were on the fence about buying a bed there as well, he didn't push back against us deciding against it, and he didn't try to nudge us toward the more expensive electronic recliner. Garfield was transparent about explaining stuff like the financing and the limits on the warranty. We asked lots of cat-related questions (why I remembered his name, since he joked about it being a cat name) and he either gave us clear info, or freely acknowledged when he wasn't sure about something. The couch itself is working out great: it's comfortable, sturdy, and fits nicely in our space. Delivery was painless, occurring exactly when promised with experts who were in and out in about 20 minutes (especially impressive given they hauled our old couch away). In 2019, that old couch cost about $1000 and was incredibly poorly made; the new couch cost us $998 all told and has already proven to be much higher-quality and also more comfortable. We're really happy with the experience overall.
