Greg, the manager, is very knowledgeable and patient, and explained the features of the various models without pushing at all. He did suggest trying out a number of types just so I would become familiar with how they all felt. I appreciated that, and it ended up that the one model I figured would be best for me was actually the one I chose. I am also impressed by the warranty and continued support that comes with my purchase. Everything arrived when they said it would and the delivery team was friendly and got everything done quickly and efficiently. The mattress itself has made a big difference in my sleep quality. We were all exiting covid and our stuff had been in storage. We had moved back to Raleigh from out of town only to hit Covid. So our stuff had been in storage for several years. We moved in right before the holidays. As part of that we had to also get the new house ready for holiday guests. Yes it was stressful. Even worse, we found that our hand made cherry bed had been partially destroyed by the previous movers. Lucky enough a friend of a friend could recommend an outstanding wood craftsman. He came quickly and repaired the frame. That left the next issue, the mattresses had not done well in storage and needed to be replaced. And I don't need to remind you how much businesses and all of use were struggling to get back in a rhythm. So with maybe a week or a week and a half to go, i went in search of a mattress. Turns out it was an unusual size. I can't recall now. Thats what happens when you wait to long. But for YEARS while we had been in Raleigh before we left town in 2012, Original Mattress Factory had been our place for mattresses. What we all liked among other things, is that they are made here, in the store. So I messaged the corporate portal. Again, remember how much businesses were struggling to get back on their feet then. Wish i could find the email. I got an IMMEDIATE response from some executive. CEO? Can't recall. Clearly there not staffed at HQ yet. he had understood my need and called the sales rep at this store who was ready to have me come in. it had been, like, minutes. RESPECT. i raced over there and the sales rep, wish i could remember his name, was Johnny on the spot. he showed me my choices, said my unusual size was not on the floor, but they made them there and would whip it out for me. They could deliver next week! I almost propsed marriage right there. And sure enough on the day, the two guys showed up very professionally. they delivered, they even moved the old mattresses for me downstairs. The next day my long awaited nephew showed up none the wiser. What a fabulous experience. Each year since we have had holiday guests in that bed. The whole experience was an outstanding value. Attitude of good service starts at the top!

I didn't like the Helix mattress I bought, but after 90 days, they allowed me to exchange it, so it…read moreworked out ok. Every mattress they sell is shrunk into a bag (even the hybrids which are supposed to have springs), but they deliver it, unwrap it, and let it pop up quickly. It's a good place to test different brands, but they clearly push the Helix brand with 5 or so beds on display. Helix is good quality, but overly padded and quilted. Not good for hot sleepers, especially once you add a mattress pad and sheets. It'll also cost $2500, which is still cheaper than most Mattress Firm beds. I ended up with a Casper Dream which is really nice. The beds on display are not your only options. You don't have to get the highest end versions.

Important for my disabilities, as I had donated two feather down combo sets that were too hard, and could not afford another set. I noted upon arrival that the seats were hard as rocks while the delivery men were still in front of the house and called asking for our salesperson or a supervising person post haste to no avail. When I finally reached her, days later, she told me I must be reading the numbers on the cushions wrong. We finally brought the entire seat of one cushion in and she was stunned, stating she had no idea where it came from. LONG STORY SHORTENED-SHE WAS STILL ORDERING A FOAM THEY NO LONGER CARRIED. Bassett offered to exchange for feather and down, but the man brought 3 seat cushions, said he would reorder about12 to 16 weeks. Now almost a year since delivery and we call, but again hold for an hour and hang up on us as we had initially( not mentioned because it took too much space). Went to store and the friend of now gone salesperson read our computer print out that CLAIMED the feather and down cushions were installed. A bold faced LIE. Chair cushions do not fit my sofa. We had planned to try and sell it so we could buy something I could sit on instead of just my bedroom chair as I did for the previous winter. She was to call us about putting the softer fiber, like the back, in the seats. We called once since and got nothing. Now a second year of no visitors during the holidays because there are blankets on the sofa and chair I do not use because they hurt. Pretty to look at, but not what we ordered. Breach of contract obviously, but they chose to ignore us. Maybe they dislike physically disabled or knew I was military by my bank choice. Do not pay cash or bank transfer as they are no longer the company they used to be.

After waiting for a while someone finally gave us an official greeting and some of the more experience reps pushed us off to the store greeter. We found out it was her second day, bless her heart she did the best she could but if someone is planning to spend thousands of dollars on bed why would you push them off to the new person. We really felt like no one wanted to help us. When an experienced rep came our way to explain to us the different beds, she rushed through the information. We mentioned we are purchasing the bed for our new home that will be finished early next year. Once we told the representative Sheri Roberson of this she immediately mentioned some features quickly and said she would email us some information. My wife and I were totally caught off guard. When spending this kind of money, you want someone that is going to spend the time to explain things.
