Where do I begin... I started searching for my mattress in March 20 21... the one that I wanted…read morethey didn't have it in the store.. I searched high and low on many websites and chose mattress firm from prior purchases... the mattress was delivered beautifully packaged wonderfully and delivered on time... again my mistake for not perching sing it in the store... I actually bought it sight unseen... this was one of the worst Big ticket Items I ever purchased... this mattress cost me $561... I slept on it for 2 nights..--tonight I wanted to return it immediately!!..the bed had a dip in it after 2 nights.... I actually pushed through for another few weeks... we couldn't take it anymore... I went into the store to see what my options were and I was told by the sales person Brittany the one that they had in the store that was to my liking will cost me an additional $600... this was absurd... I left thinking maybe I would come back and purchase it but I knew I wouldn't return.. when I did return I just asked for a refund so from the $561 that I spent originally I only received $295 back that is because of the 20% restock fee and the $99 pick up fee I thought after spending $561 for a mattress I would've at least been somewhat satisfied but I wasn't this was the worst shopping sleeping experience I have ever encountered not trying to discourage people from shopping here but just a word of advice never purchase anything online that you're going to sleep on I wish I had of known prior to purchasing this I ended up having to go somewhere else and getting something but this time I spent an hour and a half trying to find the right mattress thank you mattress firm for nothing

The saleswoman, same one, said that it hadn't been delivered and that she was going to call around and that it could possibly be back ordered. My husband stopped in since he had business elsewhere and was told that he was told over the phone that it was back ordered. The saleswoman did not indeed tell us that and never called back with her findings. My husband asked for a refund and was told they had to send out the request to be processed and it could be two weeks. So that means they're holding my credit card number, which is illegal. We went that night and bought an awesome Serta mattress from a reputable seller and with all of the Black Friday coupons, got it for $300. I had a very disappointing experience at Bob's Discount Furniture in Dover, DE…read more I work long hours, so most of my free time to shop is in the evening. The store advertises hours of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, so I planned my visit accordingly. I arrived on Monday, July 6, 2026, around 8:15 PM. After about 10 minutes of looking around, a salesman greeted us. He was polite at first, but he was trying to assist us while also helping another customer. It was obvious multi tasking is not for him , and we never really received the attention needed for such a large purchase. Around 8:40 PM, the music was turned off. I was by the coffee and cookie station getting my child a cookie when a woman I assumed was the manager (dark hair in a bun) began putting away the coffee and refreshments. Loud enough for customers to hear, she told the salesman, "Yep, it's time to go home. Time to close up." The problem was that the store didn't close for another 20 minutes. Whether there were 20 minutes left or only 5, that's not how customers should be made to feel. The message was clear: they were more interested in getting everyone out the door than helping customers. Shopping for furniture is a major purchase that takes time, and once we felt rushed, we had no desire to continue. I completely understand that employees want to go home after a long shift, but if your posted hours say you're open until 9:00 PM, customers should receive the same level of service until 9:00 PM--not feel like an inconvenience because they came in during business hours. That interaction made me question what kind of customer service I'd receive after the sale if there were ever a problem. If customers are treated like an inconvenience before they've even made a purchase, it's hard to have confidence in the company afterward. We decided to leave without buying anything. The next morning we went to Ashley Furniture in the neighboring shopping center, where we were welcomed, never felt rushed, and ended up purchasing our living room furniture there instead. Unfortunately, Bob's Discount Furniture lost a sale because customer service ended before the store's posted business hours did.

It's made of Balso wood at Best but its fiber wood is what it is. It's not even solid wood. for 800 and some dollars for a twin bed plus another 200 and some dollars for a warranty. This is ridiculous. These are the worst people I've ever dealt with in my life and apparently I should have done my research because they get an F here and they've got so many bad reviews all the Ashley's do it's just terrible.
