I'd give Maui Floral more than 5 stars if I could! We bought all of the flowers for our wedding through Maui Floral via Costco. Ordering Maui Floral via Costco was recommended to us by another vendor. It helped us save SO much money and the flowers were gorgeous. The leis we got for all of our guests (approx 50) were about an 1/8 of the cost as what other wedding planners/florists were quoting us. We also ordered nicer leis for my now wife and myself, as well as four tropical flower bouquets and several garden bunches. Our two bridesmaids held the tropical bouquets as they came. My wife and I spruced up our tropical bouquets by adding in the garden bunches (note that we added these in on our own after collecting all the flowers). The bouquets and the garden bunches were significantly cheaper here than through other vendors. Some other places were charging upwards of $300/bouquet! I did have issues trying to use their website to order, as it was a bit glitchy. I ended up calling and I'm glad I did. Maureen was super helpful in explaining the different garden bunches and making sure we got what we needed. read more

Always looking for ways to support local, especially now when the need is so great for Maui. I wanted to send flowers to dear friends on the mainland. I especially wanted flowers that weren't only from hawaii.. but that they smelled of hawaii too. Maui floral surpassed all my wishes. Their website was easy to use. I made my selections, the pictures and descriptions of boxed flowers were great. I picked my delivery dates and tracked my order through FedEx. Flowers were ordered on the 25th and 28th. I typically love Maui Floral, and my partner and I have been a repeat customer of theirs for years. However, today, they lost our business for good. Last week, I ordered an arrangement called "Rainbow Arrangement" with the following description: "Send your affections with this beautiful tropical rainbow of color". The picture on their website was very colorful and featured an array of different colored flowers, such as purple orchids, green anthuriums, birds of paradise and a king protea. However, what was delivered was a fall arrangement with yellow and orange flowers that were already wilty and turning brown. When I called the store to voice my concern over the arrangement, I was met with an apologetic worker that said she would talk to the manager and call me back. 4 1/2 hours later, I finally received a call back from the same friendly worker who said she talked to the manager, and the managers response was that there's nothing they were willing to do for me. That no where on their website does it state they would be able to guarantee the colors of flowers of the arrangement. I completely understand the flower business. I understand that they are live plants, and that certain things might be a little different. But to completely change the color scheme of an arrangement that is advertised as "rainbow" to a mono-chromatic scheme of orange/yellow without first contacting the customer is just wrong. And for the manager to state that their website makes no guarantees of flowers is terrible business etiquette. To the contrary, there is no where on the website that states that they would change the flowers and colors without the consent of the customer. Whats the most sad thing of all though, is rather that the manager returning my call to at least apologize, the same employee had to be the one to deliver the bad news. The very least a reputable business could do is to have the store manager/owner call to right a wrong. read more

If this is for any event or wedding, don't go through any other florist but Maui Floral and place it through Costco! They were 1/2 the cost as those through other florists on all of Maui! The leis I ordered through Maui Floral for my Maui beach wedding were Perfect and beautiful! The Tuberose lei smelled so good it smelled like perfume! The orchid leis were so hardy they lasted longer than a week! They were the only florist on the island that was able to make a ginger lei for my mother that cost less than $100!! The purple and white Sonya orchid leis are cheapest to buy through Maui Floral at Costco! They are 2 for the price of 1!!! OMGosh this arrangement exceeded my expectations, as well as my family and grandma, whom it was for. Grandma was supposed to visit home on Oahu for her 87th birthday but due to COVID, was unable to. Maui Floral was recommended to me by my sister. In charge of decorations, she used this convenient Upcountry florist for the fresh flowers which she used in a large fundraiser. So, for her surprise birthday party, my mother and I decided to try them out for ourselves. We worked with Robyn. The theme for that party was "[Up]Country Chic." The color was light purple. 100% of our fresh flowers came from Maui Floral. Super easy, affordable, and local! As Upcountry people, these things are important. Robyn was so easy to work with. The second time I dealt with Maui Floral was for a hula competition on Maui. As a kumu hula, I will tell you that the floral necessities, and lei, for competitions can be a nightmare when trying to find enough matching flowers and adornments for a large amount of dancers. Once again, I worked with Robyn. She was amazing in response via phone calls and emails. She knew exactly what was necessary for competition as far as quality was concerned. Robyn was even so kind enough as to meet with me in person a couple times so that I could accurately describe exactly what we would be needing. The flowers and lei were super fresh. In fact, they lasted a lot longer past the actual competition day which was such a pleasant surprise, as well as a testament to the prime freshness of the flowers. My fiancé and I chose Maui Floral after much research looking for a vendor for our elopement. All we wanted was a bouquet, boutonnière, a floral crown and 4 leis but the quotes I got from other florist was nearly 3 times what Maui Floral! Now to be clear they provided the flowers for the bouquet and boutonnière and then I had to trim and wrap them myself, but it was very VERY simple to do after looking at some online tutorials and they did do a beautiful job with my floral crown and the leis. I got more compliments on my flowers than anything from our wedding and I cried when I had to leave them at our rental home lol (we were only in Maui for 3 days). One thing I will mention is if you plan to trim the flowers yourself get some pruning shears for the big flowers--I used some kitchen knives but it was tough to cut the stems. We were on Maui driving around the upcountry when we stumbled on this small unassuming place that sells and ships flowers. I thought that it woud be nice to send 2 different neighbors flowers as they were helping look after our dog. The people were pleasant and attentive. We explained that we didn't know the exact addresses , so we would have both boxes shipped to our address. The flowers were beautiful and arrived on time, but they were all in one box. I had to separate them and find a way to repack them. Whe I called to complain I was told that they saved me money on shipping. I said I asked for 2 boxes. The lady I was supposed to get flowers from for my destination wedding went MIA last minute so we called Maui Floral two days before my wedding. He let me come go through his refrigerated room and pick flowers and order leis to be done the next day. We were prepared to assemble our own bouquets and the man helping us (Thomas?) said they don't do bridal bouquets (more wholesale). I cannot express how polite and helpful he was, even though it was obvious how busy he was with other stuff. Their flowers were gorgeous. We occasionally order from the mainland and we will absolutely order from Maui floral in the future just because they were such a delight to work with. We bought 6 leis, enough flowers for a bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, and large "pole" decorations for 5 poles and the total cost was ~$300. We were in out in 30 minutes. Last Friday, I placed an order of leis with Maui Floral to be picked up by my son on his way to the airport for his flight today. When my son got to Costco my order was no where to be found! I called Maui Floral and they said they remember me calling in my order but now can't find it in their system. My order was never made or delivered to Costco. They apologized and that's nice and all BUT these leis are for my Dad's funeral! We found Maui Floral by picking up a business card at Costco. We purchase our leis as soon as we arrive in Maui since Costco is right next to the airport. The flowers and leis are the freshest, most unique (they have simple too) and best price on the Island. My husband likes to get the kukui nut lei with shells and fresh ti leaves. It is very masculine and it drys out nicely to bring home as a souvenir. I like to get a orchid lei and the pedals are folded over (again it is unique and it drys out nicely to bring home). Since then, we have taken the drive "Up Country" to purchase flowers for our wedding on the Island. We purchased leis for our wedding guests and leis for my wrist, ankle, and flowers for the reception. I then had flowers and leis shipped to the mainland for our larger reception with 130 guests. We worked with Maureen through all of these events and she is amazing! Our flowers were fresh, the selection is large and the prices are reasonable.
