Today is mall day. Unless you have a reason to be here, you can skip this mall. Quality/Quantity - Retail, restaurant, and office businesses. Wife came here to support the local businesses. My daughter came here to get another acai bowl. I guess I came here to pay and carry everything. We shopped at Tutu pantry to find our locally made products. Atmosphere - Small local mall. Most businesses open from 9am to 9pm. See individual businesses for specific days and hours. Approximately 4 places to eat - Cafe O'Lei, Beach Street, Maui Thai Bistro, and Southshore Grindz Eatery. Bathrooms are on the second floor, you need a code. Service - Good, depends on the business. Price - Depends on business. Owner Comment - No comment.

While waiting for a family member at their appt, I went window shopping to check it out. Sad to see this place has fallen like other major malls across the country since covid & looking like a ghost town. The only anchor store left is Macy's. Their food court on the 2nd floor has dwindled to just a handful of choices: L & L BBQ, Panda Expess, Pearl Korean BBQ. There's also a pretzel place on the 2nd floor but near the Fun Factory. Downstairs was a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and a Mexican restaurant. But there still are some other popular stores like Bath & Body Works, Victoria Secret, Ben Franklin, & even a Cat Cafe where you can play with cats for a fee or adopt. Still a lot of empty store spaces advertising for lease. The mall itself is a beautiful mall to walk thru. It's open-air with a tarp like cover that lets the trade winds blow thru. Ample parking with a huge covered parking structure in the back. I enjoyed visiting this mall, it was just sad to see it half empty.

Plenty of parking plus a gas station for your fueling needs. We Stop by often to get my needs met, whether it's to mail a package or a piece of pie or malasadas for breakfast. Gas station is one of the least expensive in the area and the Home Maid Cafe gives you a reasonable price for breakfast.

Turned into the Kihei Town Center, anchored by the Foodland supermarket. The other supermarkets in Kihei are Times supermarket and Safeway, both a few miles farther north. Ate two lunches here at Kamana Kitchens, where you have to try their $10 eggplant , $12 Chicken Tikki Marsala, and $11 Curry Chicken weekday lunch specials. Came here a third time on Sunday at 5pm to get their before 6pm half price specials at Sansei Seafood and Sushi restaurant, but the line was 40 people deep, so we drove home. Drove here and parked in the shade next to the road, as it was 89 degrees in mid November -hotter than Lahaina, 22 miles up the coast. After eating lunch, we stopped by Rainbow Attic, a thrift shop next to Cuarto, a Latin Asian fusion restaurant -got to try their Popu Steak and spicy Tuna Nachos. Wife was browsing the jewelry. Sat on a bench next to the jewelry on the opposite side of where the wife was looking. Eventually moved to a corner of the store, as was blocking patrons view of the goods, and sat in a corner of the store. Must have dozed off, as my cell phone volume tone was turned off. Got up and started looking for the wife. Cell phone rings, and it is the wife, back at the condo! WTH are you Robert! She was looking for me in the store, and couldn't see our rental car, still parked in the same spot. She talked to the employees of the store, got $2 and caught the next bus to the condo. At least she did not file a missing persons report with the Maui Police!

There's always parking, not crowded - but a solid shopping area because these places have been here forever. If you're driving by you need to stop, because you will find something at one of these businesses.
