Quality/Quantity - Good, but they definitely cater to tourists. But you have to try it at least once. We almost bought the pineapple popcorn, but noticed the expiration date was before our flight back home, and we wanted to buy it as a souvenir for friends. Atmosphere - Very small gift shop with a pineapple bar. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm. Street parking, good luck. I believe the store next to them was the original to start selling Dole whip. Service - Okay. Price - Expensive for what you get. If you have patience and plan to walk and visit all the other places, you can probably find similar/same stuff for cheaper. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success, we were one of your first customers in 2018. Are you guys a part of the Maui Gold Pineapple company?

Love ordering pineapples and having them shipped! There are always some great deals to get them reasonable! You'll never taste a pineapple as good as Maui Gold!

This is the official store for the "Maui Gold" brand pineapples, which I believe are the most popular and sought-after pineapples on the island. You may spot tourists at the Kahului airport carrying boxes of Maui Gold Pineapples to take home. You can actually find Maui Gold Pineapples for sale at various places on the island, not just here. The pineapples aren't exclusive to this store nor the Maui Gold Plantation (farm) in Haliimaile and Makawao in Upcountry Maui. We got ours from the Napili Farmers Market: https://www.yelp.com/biz/napili-farmers-market-napili-honokowai-2. This store was a huge hit with three generations of our family. We all loved the Maui Gold Soft Serve here. My mom and sister loaded up on Jeff's Jams & Jellies. My wife got some too. My nieces got some cute bunny and pig pineapple stuffed animals + a container of Grandpa Joe's Candy Company Pineapple Organic Sugar Cotton Candy. We also got at least one bottle of HI Spice Papaya Guava Hot Sauce. So, in addition to selling Maui Gold brand products, this store sells and helps support other local businesses on Maui. We liked this place so much that we made two trips here during our last visit to the island. There's an ice cream parlor next door that had some impressive-looking pineapple-based desserts including Dole Whip and Lappert's Hawaii ice cream (not to be confused with Lappert's Ice Cream on the mainland). *This* store serves 100% Maui Gold Pineapple that has been frozen and blended to a soft-serve consistency. It's dairy-free, sugar-free, and incredibly delicious. The texture and flavor are perfect, in my opinion. Each order of Maui Gold Soft Serve is made fresh to order. And the presentation is beautiful too. The soft serve is served in a "showcase" pineapple shell complete with juicy slices of ripe pineapple. It's really a treat and I think it's a must-try for any visitor to Maui. During our visits, one Maui Gold Soft Serve cost $12. In addition to Maui Gold Soft Serve, other Maui Gold Pineapple-based products this store sells include pineapple juice, fresh cuts of pineapple, pineapple smoothies, pineapple-infused water, and pineapple-infused mango iced tea. One-time pineapple shipment prices were as follows: 1 pineapple for $49.99 2 pineapples for $59.99 8 pineapples for $99.99 There were also quarterly and monthly shipment options in 1, 2, and 8 pineapples that yielded cheaper costs per pineapple. For example, you could get 8 pineapples shipped monthly at a price of $79.99, $20 off the one-time shipment price. These options are like pineapple subscriptions. If you want to carry pineapples home, this store's airport carry-on boxes are approved as a *third* carry-on with every airline at Kahului except for Southwest. I believe the carry-on boxes came with an additional charge of $20 for 2 pineapples and $30 for 4 pineapples. This is a small store, but it's filled with all sorts of great gifts exclusive to Maui. It's an ideal place if you're looking for gifts and souvenirs that are truly "authentic," local, and support Maui businesses. This isn't some run-of-the-mill gift shop for tourists. The products here are high-quality. I highly recommend Jeff's Jams & Jellies, especially the Pineapple Butter. The Pineapple Coconut Jam and Lilikoi Butter are excellent too. We also got some Jeff's Jams & Jellies Pineapple Vinaigrette salad dressing. Yum. Card only. Cash isn't accepted. A couple pineapple facts they had posted in the store: 1. Pineapples don't ripen after they are harvested. They are good 5-7 days. 2. The color of the pineapple is a factor of growing conditions, not ripeness. Something I learned about Maui Gold Pineapples is that the company/brand are ultimately owned by the Maui Land & Pineapple Company. Maui Land & Pineapple Company has a subsidiary, Kapalua Land Company, that operates Kapalua Resort. Kapalua Resort is home to one of my favorite golf courses in the world: https://www.yelp.com/biz/kapalua-golf-lahaina-2. My wife wanted to do the Maui Pineapple Tour in Haliimaile, but we didn't have time: https://www.yelp.com/biz/maui-pineapple-tour-haliimaile-2. Maybe next time.

This store is conveniently located on Front Street by many shops and restaurants. It's a great place to grab desserts. The shop is super cute, and follows the pineapple theme! Great for souvenirs or personal items. They have a wide selection of pineapple drinks in their store, and the service is very quick. We got the pineapple smoothie which comes in a frozen pineapple. It tasted exactly like what you would expect. There's an option to add Li Hing Maui powder as well.

Lots of cute pineapple stickers and merchandise found in the store. At one of our previous trips we came here and split 2 pineapples with soft serve and it was a bit much, so this time around we only got one. The line Gods were on our side because we created the line today. The staff was friendly and the soft serve Pineapple in a pineapple was delicious. When we visit again we will return.

So sweet and bursting with vitamin C that the cracks in my lips stung all day. Not today scurvy
Brett B.

A fun little shop of all things pineapple. In my opinion they carry the best brand: Maui Gold. Those babies are bursting with flavor and vitamin C. They're also bursting with something that was burning my lips for a while... probably attacking the scurvy. While there's trinkets galore, the real deal is the fruit

I'm a huge fan of Maui Gold Pineapples and was so excited to see a store for it during my walk in Lahaina. I always prefer Maui Gold over Dole pineapples as I view them as sweeter. We ordered the Maui Gold Soft Serve and Fresh Cuts of Pineapple Bowl which were placed inside half cut pineapples and were very IG worthy and very yummy! They were a little bit on the pricey side but you only live once! A must get if you love pineapples!

Such a cute pineapple themed gift shop with pineapple snacks you can buy such as the pineapple soft serve served in a frozen pineapple. After eating dole whip, I expected this to be sweeter but their soft serve tastes exactly like frozen pineapples blended up. Depending on your taste buds/preferences you may or may not prefer this - if you're expecting an ice cream-like dessert, dole whip is for you but if you like less sweet desserts and/or are health conscious you may like this one better. Anyways this is a cute place to stop in to buy some souvenirs or gifts especially for pineapple lovers!

We love this place. The Pineapple Store is located on the south end of Front Street, best to find street parking.  There is a fee parking lot across the street on Dickenson.  Each time we're here, we order pineapples to take on the plane(most airlines consider the box as a free checked bag). You can also do a one time shipment or a subscription of pineapples. Reasonable prices.  Great place to stop by pineapple related souvenirs and a cold treat.  Be sure to try the something from the Pineapple Bar.

Sooo delicious , and refreshing pineapple !!!

This location is a must when in Lahaina !!!! My husband wanted to check it out , the store is Soo cute and the employees are great!!! The wait of the line does sometimes feel a little long I think because they might be understaffed but it is worth the wait! We returned twice before leaving Lahaina because the pineapple was so refreshing especially with Maui's humid weather. Highly recommend!

Trevor C.

Super fun and delicious pineapple drinks. This is a fun little shop with lots of interesting pineapple themed gifts.

Let's be real... you're here for the aesthetic instagram photo. And for that it's perfect. The presentation of their pineapple icecream is awesome. The shop itself is very cute and filled with pineapples/pineapple themed items. The pineapple is definitely NOT as sweet as people hype it to be. I've had much sweeter pineapples than this. The pineapple icecream isn't bad but nothing stellar, also the bottom isn't completely scooped out so your icecream doesn't go all the way to the bottom. Since there's a lot of pineapple still there at the base it would be cool to eat it but since the whole thing is frozen it's like trying to carve Mt Rushmore with a plastic spoon...aka impossible. Food: 4/5 Presentation: 5/5

I was surprised by this delicious non-dairy pineapple slushy. The pineapple was frozen, which kept everything nice and cold. So refreshing. Give one a try.

You can cover a work boot in chocolate and I would eat it, I am not ashamed to say that I am a "Chocaholic" as well as a "Chocosaurus". We met up at their factory located In Lāhainā, fabulous store and open air seating area above their factory. Great modern design and decor and fully operated on solar and Tesla back up battery's. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but the gem of the operation is "Rissi" our guide. He was so knowledgeable of the operation and spoke so well of the growing process I could have listened to him all day and never got bored. He also integrated great things in about growing up on the island, the culture and his family background. Well done "Rissi" I wanna hang out with you. I learned so much about the plants, the natural growing methods Maui Chocolate uses and the process of refining Cocoa into chocolate. The tasting after the orchard tour was in a tree house above the orchards offering beautiful views of the orchard, views of Molokai and Lanai. Once you have tasted Maui Chocolate you won't eat anything else, you shouldn't because you are eating pure coco with only natural ingredients prepared the Maui Chocolate way. Do the tour, whether it's the factory tour or the orchard tour (I am a freak about gardening and growing) so I wanted to learn more about the trees and methods and I truly learned a lot about their natural growing methods. What really hit the heart most was Maui Chocolate donates 100% of it profits to charity, works with the community and also works with other countries on growing methods. Well done Maui Chocolate, you offer more than just chocolate goodness with your huge heart. And thank you "Rissi" for sharing your culture and history while taking care of business. We got to see the entire process of how chocolate is made from the cacao plant all the way to the final product. It was fascinating to learn about each stage and our guide made it easy to understand while keeping things fun and engaging. I also learned so much about dark chocolate which I never used to enjoy until now! During the tasting I sampled a variety of unique flavors coffee, guava, mango, and even sugar-free and each one was incredible in its own way. The quality and freshness were unmatched. I was so impressed that after returning home I ordered two shipments from Maui Chocolate because I just couldn't get enough. A quick tip: arrive a little early for your tour. I ran a bit late but was still able to join (thankfully!) and I noticed they run right on schedule. Overall this tour was a highlight of my Maui trip -- fun, flavorful, and full of learning. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island rain or shine!

There was ample parking at the store where the tour left from. We took an air-conditioned sprinter van slightly up the hill to get to the land where the cocoa beans are actually grown. After learning all about the process of growing, harvesting, and drying the cocoa beans, we got to partake in a delicious sampling in what can only be described as an adult "treehouse". With 360 panoramic views, and a wonderful breeze, we listened as Gabriel explained the various chocolates we were sampling and I thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone. Prior to booking, I specifically asked if the tour was fully operational and was assured that it was, with only one stop being eliminated. This turned out to be inaccurate. Instead, we only found out after we were already on the bus, and at that point, we were not given the option to cancel or make an informed decision. Several advertised stops were not included, and no proper substitutions were provided. Despite this, when we followed up with the company, they claimed we were taken to a red sand beach -- which is simply not true. This kind of inaccurate response only added to the frustration.
