The area is beautiful and clean. The property has more than what you might need to stay and live and enjoy vacation. Beach towels were provided and sand toys, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and so much more. The beach right outside the property is rocky but the kids still enjoyed it everyday. We stay at The Napili Bay #205 which is a fabulous studio apartment just steps from the beach and walking distance to 3 restaurants, a coffee shop and a snorkel store. The grounds are beautifully kept and it's a great mix of tourists and long-term residents. It's not a big resort with lots of amenities (Maui Beachfront has other properties that might provide that) but if you want a super pleasant and relaxing stay in Maui you can't beat this place. This company quoted me a vacation rental with a time period that did not match my dates, and I…read moreworked for TWO solid days to find other accommodations that would match to the time period that could work....including paying for a day that I would not use in order to meet the minimum days that the unit would be rent. I told that I would take the contract (BTW) the Vacation Rental prices for Maui in feb of 2022 are 3x what they normally are...in this case it was between $650-$850 a night!!!!!! The rental agent (her name is Melody) send me a note after we had agreed and said that the tenant that was staying there after me extended their stay into the time that we had agreed. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Melody could have told the other client that the day was taken and could have given me the common courtesy of calling and letting me know that the tenant after me wanted the day, but she did not...possible reasons- 1. Did not want to tell the other tenant that it was taken 2. Lazy - since everyone and their brother wants to go on a vacation now folks like her are just taking orders and making enormous profit.

It also can be hard to find--my taxi driver from airport and Uber driver both drove by it the first time (it is not well-marked). It is in a beautiful area and kind of takes you back in time on Maui which is very nice. When you pull in, you will find a spot on the right--and then to get to the office you will cross back over the front and a big deck to the left. I knew I was going to be late and called so that they would leave a key for me. When you walk in there is a beautiful open area that extends to the place where breakfast is eaten. Unlike traditional inns or B&Bs they do have breakfast, but there is some law that prevents them from serving hot food. Instead, you get some delicious fresh fruit, cereal, and some really tasty danishes. The proprietors are really nice people. There are a few rooms. I think mine was the smallest (the Maui room). It was fine for me traveling alone, however if there are a couple of people I would make sure to confirm you have a bigger room. One difficult point for some is that there is no air conditioning. This part of the island does seem cooler and since it rained a couple nights I was comfortable, but think for some that might be an issue. Finally, as noted in some of the rules be aware of the booking restrictions, if you book through sites you will be given a four day minimum.
