Great staff and Blaze was a wonderful dive master - super personable and fun. It had been about 15 months since my 3 kid's last scuba dive and he reviewed with them how to properly set up their gear, which we really appreciated. We had a private family dive (5 people) with Blaze and loved exploring the reef around the four seasons, seeing octopus, eel, baby turtle, beautiful star fish, and tons of reef fish. Blaze knew his stuff and took care of us the entire time. He took beautiful underwater photos of our family and the price for the photos was very reasonable and we got the edited photos the same day. Maui Undersea Adventures was amazing. One of, if not the best part of our trip to Maui. Blaze and staff got us setup, we 'got our feet wet' in the pool and then we went out for our 1st dive with Blaze. Right off the beach at the hotel. Blaze made us comfortable, we got to swim with a sea turtle, swim around coral and see incredible fish, up close. If we could, we'd go back tomorrow for our next dive. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and reserved a 1.5-hour semi-private eco-snorkel tour. As a Four Seasons guest, it was a bit hard to find the check-in area when following the directions in our confirmation email and had to ask someone working at Ferraro's how to get there. It was actually quite easy once they explained and we just didn't realize there was an opening to a path that lead us there by walking completely through Ferraro's and past the bar. We didn't expect to walk through a restaurant! But upon arrival, the guy working check-in was such a blast and got us hype about our snorkel! My husband and I ended up being the only people that signed up for our time slot, so we ended up having a private snorkel tour. Our guide gave us the option to use a bodysuit, as well as a boogie board to rest on in case we got tired of swimming. I recommend wearing the suit since I actually feel like it helped me float more, and the boogie board was perfect since carrying it wasn't a problem at all with the wrist attachment. It was super easy just walking down to the beach and then swimming out into the ocean to do our snorkel right off the coast. Our guide was awesome, told us a bit of what we were looking at/for, and took pictures the whole tour! He told us we were going to swim a number of acres which sounded intimidating, but it actually wasn't bad at all. Considering no one else signed up for our time slot, our 1.5-hour snorkel ended up being an hour since it was faster to not have to swim together as a larger group and we were totally cool with it. We decided purchasing the pictures taken during our tour was totally worth it for the price and we actually got them on the same day! If you're looking for a quick snorkel and not something that will be a huge time commitment, this is the way to do it!! read more

I haven't yet visited this location in person but Josh, who I believe is one of the managers was phenomenal. Absolutely blew me out of the water (no pun intended) with his customer service. His helps was incredible. We sat on the phone for 15 minutes while he educated me on the process and options for an upcoming stay. We did the Underwater Sea Scooter Snorkel Adventure. The staff was extremely professional from the first phone call to book until the end when the excursion was over. Took lots of time and were very thorough to explain everything to my kids about the tour and how to operate the equipment while not skimping out on in-water time. Blaze was our guide and was awesome and so patient with my kids and was genuinely vested in their time there. He also took great photos and sent them to us in a very timely manner! I definitely recommend paying the extra $ for the pictures. They also got to see and take pictures swimming with Turtles and holding Octopus and other live sea life - so cool! Had an amazing time with Blaze today. My husband and I just got married 5 days ago and decided to try out the complimentary 1 hour session with the four seasons. Blaze was extremely detailed and patient about educating us about everything from our fave masks to altitude techniques to different sign language we could use while under water. We had an amazing time and would strongly recommend this activity to anyone who's every considered scuba or just enjoys the ocean and observing wildlife. I didn't think this place was that great. We met the owner once when we were there and he was very nice and knowledgeable but overall it wasn't an amazing experience. I expected more from the location and for the price. We did have great dives with Jay and Paul ( I hope I got the names right ). I highly recommend them. A few other guys were just acting careless and immature. Going on about how they are the best divers on the island while messing up our paperwork over and over. When we signed our invoice it was just a dollar amount nothing else, later we found out was the rate for one person, which we thought was fair since we bought the material before hand and did the classroom portion on our own but when we saw the charge at check out it was doubled. During one dive the instructor, Anthony I think, let me run out of air in my tank and was so far ahead of me didn't notice I had to come up and snorkel the rest if the way back. He never even swam back to me to help me or see if I was ok and I was kinda far out. My husband (who was also learning) had to come get me. It was a learning experience but as a newbie it was kinda stressful. That disappointed me and broke my trust with them. read more

We wanted to do the "water scooter" adventure, which is a little motorized underwater scooter. Very James Bond. We don't scuba dive, so this was perfect for a little power snorkeling. We booked it the night before we went on spring break weekend and got right in! It was just me, my husband and our awesome guide, CJ. He showed us around the reef, found some sea turtles that didn't mind our company and got amazing pictures for us. The price was awesome and they weren't strict on our time. The equipment was very well maintained and our pictures were emailed to us within 12 hours!! Definitely recommend for anyone that wants to "up" their snorkeling game, but not have to deal with the 30+ people crowds that you get on charter tours. read more

OUR Surprise Birthday dive this morning was awesome! Christine (G.F) signed us up for the beginner dive with the owner Rob. The intro safety course and pool practice were all very well taught and really made us feel safe before entering the ocean. Christine was having a hard time breathing at first in the ocean. We are very new to water activities in general and Rob guided her flawlessly throughout the dive session. We got close up to three large turtles, a bunch of small fish, the coral reef, and even an eel! These guys are great. Scuba diving with them was a blast. We did all of our PADI open water dives over a span of 4 days. They were very accomodating. The instructors were very knowledgable; most of them seemed to have a decade or more experience. This shop is operated on the grounds of the Four Seasons (I assume they're kept technically separate for liability reasons, perhaps). So even if you're not a Four Seasons guest, you can dive with them. read more
