magine booking your Maui dream destination dive location nearly 2 months in advance, only to have the dive shop cancel your trip about 12 hours before your dive. Someone else cancelled their group TODAY, so the dive shop decided our group of 3 people wasn't worth the trip to Molokini. Charters are non-refundable if cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours. The other group who cancelled wouldn't have been eligible for a refund, but Pro Diver cancelled because they weren't going to make enough money with us........even though the other folks cancelled or rescheduled their dive today I guess book with them if you want to run the risk of a cancellation, because you're not making them enough money with a small group. Your dive trip Is in the hands of other divers who may or may not cancel. Book with Maui Diamond. They fill the boat and don't cancel your trips. Pro Diver's communication is stellar. Before booking I reached out via email to get input on newly certified divers. They immediately responded and provided a recommendation. After booking, they provided timely instructions. This was the only company I could find that allowed a blended group of divers and snorkelers on the same trip. Captain Sean, Ben, and Yanni were an amazing team. They are so knowledgeable (and fun too!) and took the time to coach newly certified divers. I dove with pro diver Maui back in April 2025, I was just informed by yelp that my review didn't meet its standards. I felt the service was bad enough to actually take the time to make another review. The boat had two dive masters, both guiding about six or seven divers a piece my friend/dive buddy decided mid dive to abort his dive, and went to the surface. The dive master asked nothing and didn't seem to care that he was missing a diver. This in my opinion, as a former dive master is totally unprofessional. We brought our own equipment which was set up improperly twice, and we were scolded for fixing the way our equipment was supposed to be set up. All in all it was a poor experience. Anyone who's wishing to dive with pro diver Maui should think about other alternatives. read more

This is our 5th trip with Pro Diver Maui, one snorkel trip and 4 two-dive trips to Mololokini crater. Crew has always been helpful and professional. We've done the back wall dive twice now. Always clear visibility and tons of marine life. I love to hear the whales under water! Our captain has always stopped for whale sightings, which adds an extra bonus for the trip. Yani was an excellent dive guide, my favorite so far. When booking, they accommodated our request and communication was good considering the weather situation. read more

We went to Molokini with ProDiver 2 to dive. There were divers and snorkelers on the boat. We hired Benja as a private DM and he is wonderful! He shared pics and videos of the dive with us. The boat does not have a lot of covered space so a hat was great. It takes 15 minutes to get to Molokini from the Kehei boat ramp, which is nice. We whale watched on the way back. They had water and pineapple on board. It's a small boat and could use a few updates, but the crew was great. It was a lovely morning. read more

Warning! No refunds and no customer service! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dive center. We had booked a 3-tank dive for March 11, 2025. Upon arriving at the harbor that morning, we were informed that, due to weather conditions, we could only do a 2-tank dive and were assured that we would receive a refund for the difference. Multiple emails and calls have gone unanswered, and to this day, we have not received any refund--absolutely unprofessional! A reputable company should treat its customers fairly, especially concerning prepaid services. Anyone booking here should be aware that in case of issues, no support can be expected. Paid online via card for the 3-tank dives on Tuesday and 2-tank dives on Wednesday. Unfortunately they don't offer multiple day discounts anymore but it was easy to choose the type of dives I wanted to do. We met at the docks at 6:15 AM to check in on both days and I was back by about 12:30 PM on Tuesday and about 10:45 AM on Wednesday. I definitely enjoyed the 3-tank dives on Tuesday better. Captain Mark and DM Birch were so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and entertaining! Everything went so smoothly! The group of divers seemed more experienced on Tuesday vs. Wednesday, and everyone listened, so there were no issues. Wednesday the captain and crew seemed less organized and the captain got annoyed at the crew on multiple occasions, and the divers were less experienced so they were frequently being signaled and reminded to follow the limits/discussed plans. Both days we were offered pineapple and other snacks, along with coffee, water, and juices. Yum! Overall I would recommend this company and would request Captain Mark and DM Birch if possible. read more

So, never been scuba diving before and decided, I'm in Maui, let's do it! I happened to first meet a girlfriend of one of the staff right after check-in (which is at the Kihei boat ramp 5 minutes down the road at 6:15 am) and she was a super sweet intro. The entire staff was fun/funny, full of life and left my experience memorable. They moved at my pace and gave me plenty of opportunity and space to move forward the way I needed to. I personally was a natural even though I've never done it before. I love the water. Although, if your a newbie and nervous, it's such a great crew (one of them being a former veteran paramedic) they will take care of you. I felt safe and supported the entire time. They were very thorough with instructions and knowledge on the islands and the crater we explored. They provided snacks, drinks and good connection! I left a nice tip! Aside from the awesome people, it was quite an experience! It was certainly beautiful beneath the waves, warm and full of life. If you're a first time diver, they only let you dive by the shore, which was still beautiful. I'm definitely coming back to get certified with this crew specifically! So I thoroughly enjoyed my two dives with Pro Diver. We didn't leave super early or super late. They were REALLY good with explaining what the dives were going to be like and where we would be going. For the administration part, Jen was SOOOOO patient with my group since they couldn't decide on what the hell they wanted to do. In the end they ended up accommodating us and some of the people in the group couldn't even make it. We had 8 discovery dives and only 2 of us were certified, but they made it work somehow. I can't speak for the discovery dives that my friends did, but a lot of them enjoyed it and now are thinking about getting certified! We had a great time so thank you so much! read more

Visiting Maui for the first time, and checked Yelp for dive company recs... was not disappointed with ProDiver! From booking to the dive day everything was great. The booking /phone receptionist recommended the dive days and answered all my questions. Captain Mark, Dorian and the dive master, Birch, were all very thoughtful and helpful on dive day as i noted i hadn't been diving in some time due to pandemic. Now for the dive itself : I did the 3 tank dive day (offered on Tuesdays), consisting mainly of drift dives. Saw more than a few sharks on the first dive, and second dive also offered a cool back wall site. Unfortunately conditions and current were very strong for the last dive (so not for faint of heart) but was overall a great experience. Will definitely be diving with prodiver and hopefully this crew again! Location : I stayed In kanapali area so the boat dock itself is a ways out in Kihei (Kihei boat dock) so definitely recommend securing a car rental if diving is going to be a big part of your trip. On the plus side there loads of good food spots (reviews thereof to follow) out that ways for post dive munchies. read more

We did two dives with Prodiver to Molokini and Red Hill, both dives we had Matt as our dive master and he was so incredible! Everyone on the trip was great, the boat captain was very skilled and kind. Matt made the trip though! I arranged an Open Water referral for my two kids and refreshers for my wife and I. All this from Virginia. As you may imagine, it required referral paperwork, credential verification, scheduling, etc. All this with the large time difference. The owner Michael and the DiveMaster Ethan provided 5-star service. The communication was exemplary. It was as painless as it could possibly be. Both my teens commented on how they enjoyed Ethan as an instructor. If you are looking for an instructor for your kids, he is highly recommended. Don't recommend them! I called to this company and reserved a dive, they charged me, and lady didn't tell anything about dive license! When we arrived in the the morning they asked us about diving permit of course we didn't have it and they didn't get us on the boat ( she said her boss will contact me and about this situation) no one called me for couple days and So I called them and boss of this company said he will not refund us our money because it's our fault( I explained him that I dived on Catalina island and without diving permit and if we have to have it permit for something they have to to sure that their guest have it. Anyway he was so rude I told him I will contact my bank and open dispute but he said he don't care( great customer service) this is the story how we payed for service which we haven't received! read more

I was in Maui last week, and dove six days in a row. I tried three different dive shops, and Prodiver was one of them. I like Prodiver the most, and I dove with them three days (6 dives). The sites they brought us to were always nice, and the captains, crews and dive masters were all nice and funny Moreover, I am a certified diver, but my boyfriend is not. So I really like their service of snorkeling + introductory dive for my boyfriend while regular dives for me on the same boat. read more

What a great experience to take my wife and two teen sons with me to Molokini. ProDiver made it possible with a Discovery snorkel and (intro) dive option for them that allowed them to snorkel the crater and join me on my second dive. Benja and Ethan were great at explaining what to expect to see. They said they had seen baby grey sharks and a barracuda earlier. They were spot on! My sons were thrilled to see the sharks, myriad of fish and the barracuda, all from the surface. I enjoyed our Reef's end dive in 80' again. After our safety stop. Benja led us on a 30' dive of the crater and pointed out various rare fish and an eel. As someone who has dived for 22 years, being able to have my family join me on a safe, exploration dive was a dream come true. They have it all, advanced dives for the experienced and intro dives for the novice. It made for a memorable activity on our Maui vacation. Now my sons want to get certified in order to do a two-tank dive with me next time. I've been on dives with all the good dive companies in Maui. But ProDiver has earned my praise and loyalty. I did not enjoy my experience with prodiver. We chose this because a friend in our group had tried them before and thought it was nice. Personally, I did not feel like I was given the attention I needed. Beginner dive is a very important to introduce a person to scuba diving and I think they can do a better job creating a memorable, pleasant experience for me and my friend. I am not certified but have gone on about 3 dives before (all beginner dives). Previously, each treated me to the attention I deserved by going over with me the basic skills, dos and donts, and really held my hand thru the whole process. As a person that needs time to get use to a new surroundings and environment, I appreciated that. Prodiver Maui did not give me that. Their intro dives allow you to do one part snorkeling, another part diving. Our snorkeling part was fair, nothing much spectacular. But was cut short because the other parties of the boat finished early from scuba so we were told to come up early too. Why? First off, the introduction was given to us on the boat and our instructor K2 was pretty much reading from the booklet that we were told to read beforehand. It's very hard to comprehend already on a wavy boat with water splashing and it was just hard to hear him. I was getting nauseated. Later, I did the skills set ok and my friend also did hers. But she couldn't go thru with the whole process so she ended up staying on the boat after the skills. Later I found out if was bc one of her silicon mouthpiece from the regulator was missing and she was having a hard time biting down. When we went down, my instructor originally was going to take me and my friend (not certified, beginners) AND 4 more people that were doing their second parts of the open water certification. I was so surprised when he said that because that's 6 people (new and in training) with 1 master. How is that going to work if anything happens underwater?? Our group ended up being 5 people. Many times, I was struggling to stay in place and would be sinking down, unable to get back up and was overlooked. It would be all sandy around me bc I was rubbing the sand with my fins and K2 would be ahead of the group. It was terrible and I felt so helpless. Given their brief introductions to the water, malfunctioning equipments, and inability to provide a peace of mind to calm beginners nerves, I would not recommend this for beginners. They also gave us these damped wetsuits with holes in the shoulder to put on before and it felt gross. read more
