We've always wanted to get married in Maui but when most of the family is in Canada and USA mainland, you have it locally. With a bit of regret not having done our vow renewal "formally" 5 years ago (FIL passed a few months later suddenly), we decided to do it for 15 years with our family being less grandpa but with a new addition, our 3 yo. Michael and his assistant were super friendly and easy to work with. He was helpful with restaurant recommendations around our site. We stayed in the Kaanapali area and most wedding/vow renewal services advertised were on the Kīhei side which would've taken 40+ minutes depending on traffic to get to and with 2 young kids, the drive back wouldn't have been fun (not to mention bedtime). Maui wedding adventures was able to meet us in Kapalua (one of our fave dive sites too). We dined at Merriman's and the food was delicious, as was the view. After dinner it was a short walk to the beach where we met Michael. We were able to choose from a list of musicians that could play while we had our ceremony. Marvin's music is just what we were looking for. He had many song choices with many of them being our favorites. His music really completed our ceremony. Michael's responses were prompt and he kept in contact by sending emails before we embarked on our trip to Maui and even sent a message the day we landed to welcome us! He also sent us messages on the day of to let us know what to look for. We got a sneak peek to our photos the next day and as he promised, the link to all the photos within 10 days. We were married by Michael in August 2014 - right on the heels of Hurricane Iselle. It was on, then off, then on so it was pretty stressful. He was very accommodating to my barrage of emails. we went to Palauea Beach in Wailea beach where he does all his ceremonies. the only other people there were 2 other weddings! we had more than enough room to have our own private part of the beach. the beach is beautiful. and the sunset was awesome. What a great experience! When we started researching weddings it was overwhelming how many options there were for just a simple wedding. Getting married away from home is challenging, my main concerns was the budget and the promptness of the wedding coordinators. I have contacted few wedding coordinators to see how efficient they are responding via email because we decided to get married during our vacation, which gives us only 4 weeks. Michael from Maui wedding Adventure responded fast with my questions and inquires, In addition, their prices is reasonable too. I researched for few days before deciding to go with them. After a made a deposit everything seems to fit my needs. I did my research of location already since we are staying in the west side and decided for the Ironwoods Beach. Michael has been helpful with all my questions from the color of the lei they will provide until the photo portfolio. We opt for the 599$ package that includes photographer. Fast forward on the day of the wedding I finally met Michael and Kim. Ironwoods Beach is somehow hidden and its part of the kapalua Beach, they volunteered to meet us up in our hotel and convoy to the location. I felt comfortable working with them, Kim took the pictures during the ceremony and Michael took the pre and post ceremony pictures. It was an intimate wedding so pictures are really important for me because we are having our wedding dinner the following week when we come back to Los Angeles, Michael told me it should be ready by Wednesday, but surprising it was done by Sunday, I have no regrets for not going for more expensive photographer, they did a great job with the photos, they ask you to do certain pose then they give you enough time to do your own pose. I ordered one to put in the canvas and the rest in the photobook for the wedding dinner, the resolution of the photos are good enough for enlargement. My husband and I wanted to get married in an easy, stress-free manner without breaking the bank. We decided to escape to Maui and tie the knot on the beach. I found Maui Wedding Adventures through a web search and found the reviews to be excellent and the prices even better. Michael and Kim made it easy and stress free, and arranged a few extra services we requested. They take care of the logistics, and you show up. I like that they have a very basic package (literally just getting married) and you can add on from there. We used the package that included photography (so glad we did!) and added on hair/makeup services for me. Other options we didn't use but thought others would enjoy are musicians, bouquets, limo service, etc. You really can build a wedding package to your liking without anything you don't need/want. The hair and makeup service was excellent! Kim arranges those vendors, and I had Jean come to my B&B to do my hair and makeup, with orchids for my hair and false eyelashes. Turned out wonderfully! Jean is a true professional. Michael and Kim shared the photography duties, and we had 94 pictures of the before, during, and after the ceremony. Michael sent us the online gallery within 24 hours or so, and we will be able to download the pictures for up to a year. You don't have to pay extra to access the photos-the electronic files are yours. The photos turned out great and we are very happy with the quality! Overall, we are very happy with our experience getting married in Maui using Maui Wedding Adventures. Highly recommended! read more

We decided to get married on a beach on Maui at the end of last July 2018. We wanted it to happen in October, less than 3 months away. Once I started researching I couldn't believe all that was involved including acquiring the licence within 30 days of the wedding, permits, insurance, location, flowers, the best photography possible at a price that wouldn't break us, and most of all the coordination of all of this to make it happen! After a few days of research online, I realized Michael and Kim Fish of Maui Wedding Adventures was the answer. They are fantastic! It's one thing to find a professional photographer as good as Michael, who is as skilled at his craft as he is maximizing the use of the environment and light for a beach sunset photoshoot, but to do all of that and handle all the other arrangements, was incredible. Let me just say he is such a genuinely honest, kind hearted, dedicated man and I'm so glad we chose maui wedding adventures to get us married.
