I have been here a few times for lunch now and can't recommend this place enough! The fish is extremely fresh and they have a wide variety of toppings. The restaurant is located in a busy shopping center (next to Board & Brew) but well worth the hassle of parking. I'm always surprised that it isn't busier inside, but I'm thinking that a lot of folks take their lunch to go. In addition to poke bowls, they have sushi burritos, spam musubi, fresh guava juice and Thai iced tea. I'm already excited to go back!

I was within walking distance of this location so I decided to check it out. The gentleman at the register stopped what he was doing to address me (and it was near closing time) he was very patient and helpful. I was very happy with the portions. There is inside seating and it was clean. I took it home and put it in a bigger bowl to mix and make into 2 portions. It was delicious. I would absolutely return.

Surprisingly good and at a reasonable price. Possibly best poke deal in Tustin/Irvine. Had the 2 scoops with unlimited toppings and the Unagi musubi. 2 scoops meal was more than enough. Musubis pushed me to the edge. Spicy tuna could use a little more kick for my taste. Definitely would go back again.

2 Scoop Poke Bowl* salmon, tuna and many toppings

I tried 2 scoops poke bowl - salmon and tuna The portion was big enough for me, but the balance of rice and fish wasn't good. Too much rice. I wish the scoops were more. The worker looked not good mood, but he was nice. The shop was clean. I don't recommend this restaurant proactively, but it is okay to go place if you are craving poke. I don't think I'm going back to the place.

Pretty solid poke spot! The fish is fresh and flavorful, and their Blazing Salmon is a must-try if you're into strong flavors with a bit of a spicy kick. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit and enjoy your bowl. Portions are very generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. Would definitely be back!

Tried this place today after trying to first order online via yelp but finding that didn't work so I called and placed my order based off the menu pictures people posted (thank you). Ordered the 2 scoop poke bowl and somehow they included some kind of spiced jalapeños I didn't see in the list of toppings. If it was on there I would've said no to them. They charge extra for the unagi even though it's literally a little strip. Not sure how I feel about paying $25 for take out lunch (I ordered Thai iced tea). Would probably prefer spending less at board and brew next door but this is a nice alternative every once in awhile. Service was friendly. Lunch was decently satisfying. Would come back here again but with so many other options in the same strip mall it's likely I'll check those out before coming back here.

Edit: As we're eating, there are bones in our salmon!!! We went on a Friday night and there is only one worker so expect to wait over 20' to even start getting served if there is a large party before you. Service is pretty bad and even over an hour before closing time they have ran out of a lot of toppings. Not only that, portions are extremely stingy!! Avocado is all brown and has been left out for a long time. The salmon is very chewy not fresh. We decided to try this place not expecting it to be overpriced and horrible quality. Would not recommend!!!

Solid poke with with various topping choices and fresh fish! Maui Poke is located in a small plaza with bunch of other eateries. Inside has decent table seating with dark interior. They have interesting topping choices like spam, kimchi, and shrimp. I got the small bowl with half brown rice/kelp noodle, tuna/albacore, with wasabi citrus sauce and most of the toppings. They do charge extra for unagi and avocado. Portion size is generous and they put lots of toppings on, the tuna and albacore was fresh, wish there was more wasabi in the sauce but overall filling and relatively healthy! Service was fast and price is decent ($15 for 2 topping bowl). Next time I'll try the salmon!

Perfect spot for lunch. Their quality of the ingredients is great and everything is so fresh that I trust whatever I pick. Also, the variety of sauces are fun to try. The restaurant is very clean and modern looking. It has a large space with several tables that you can bring large groups. They also have a station with utensils and condiments you can pick up. The service is excellent as well. When my coworkers and I stepped in the store, one of the employees was eating lunch but ran back to the counter and served us immediately. Another employee came from the back and served the next customer as well.

I walk up to the counter and the kid working there--who looked like he was barely out of middle school and couldn't even bother to take his airpods out--asks what I want. I look at the menu board, which is incredibly confusing, and I just order the Spicy Ahi bowl because I like a little kick to my food. I figure it's like a spicy chicken or cooked fish taco bowl. I watch the guy scoop some rice, put some vegetables in, and then he reaches into a container and scoops out a bunch of pink cubes. I thought maybe it was marinated tofu or something that was going to get popped into a microwave or a toaster oven behind the counter. But no. He just slaps a lid on it and hands it to me. I took it to a table, opened it up, and picked up a piece with my fork. It felt cold. And slimy. I took a bite, and my jaw hit the floor. IT WAS COMPLETELY RAW FISH. I walked right back up to the counter and told the manager, "Hey bud, you forgot to cook my lunch. This fish is completely raw, it's a major health hazard." The kid literally looks at me, blinks, and says, "Sir, it's poke. It's supposed to be raw." Are you kidding me?! I don't care what hip millennial trend you call it, you cannot serve people uncooked seafood in this country! I asked to speak to a manager, and some young woman comes out and tries to explain to me that poke is a traditional Hawaiian dish of raw marinated fish. I told her I don't care if it's from Hawaii or the moon, I am not trying to get salmonella or a tapeworm on my lunch break. I work hard for my money, and I expect my food to pass through a heat source before it hits my plate! They refused to put it in an oven or even a microwave for me, and they wouldn't give me a refund because they said the food was prepared correctly. Unbelievable. I ended up throwing the entire $18 bowl right into the trash can and going to the restaurant down the street where they actually understand how to cook meat. Save your hard-earned money and avoid this place at all costs unless you want a one-way ticket to the emergency room for food poisoning. I will be contacting the local health department first thing Monday morning. Utterly ridiculous.

I always appreciate places with lots of vegetables. The bad: my fish was fishy smelling/tasting. I was surprised because the restaurant was freezing and I ate there so the food wasn't siting out or anything. Something was also bitter? I couldn't tell if it was the Ponzu sauce or if something went wrong with the roasted corn, but I kept running into it every few bites. I think my experience was an outlier based on the reviews, but still disappointing. Also skip the mochi in the freezer: I don't think people buy from it often so your mochi could be frozen to a point it's lost its chewy texture from something like freezer burn.

We ordered the following: Agedashi Tofu: This was honestly the highlight of the meal. I have been craving this appetizer, but not many places around here actually offer it. The last place I tried this was at Haku, and I was not impressed by it. However, the tofu here was really good! It was hot, crispy, and the sauce was perfectly sweet and salty. It comes with 4 larger sized pieces of tofu, which I thought was great, but could have been more for the price. Stir Fry Udon: This dish was advertised outside on one of their stand up signs by the front door. This is part of what brought us in, but upon receiving it, I was not too impressed. The sauce was extremely dark and it already looked salty. When I actually tasted it, I was not surprised that it tasted exactly how it looked. It was way too salty and saucey to the point, we were eating one bite then drinking water right after. It was a pretty simple dish with what looked like frozen carrots and peas and some cut up chicken. Lunch Bento Box Option 2: We opted in for the teriyaki salmon, gyoza, and salmon roll. It came with a side of salad and miso soup. The salmon was cut very thin and it did not have enough teriyaki sauce on it. It was on the dry side. The gyoza was nothing too special. Just felt frozen then dried with gyoza sauce. Miso soup and salad were also just decent. The best part of this meal probably had to be the salmon roll. I liked the big portions of salmon and the little rice on the outside. This was the perfect balance instead of just getting a mouthful of rice each bit like most other sushi places do. I think this place was decent, overall. The prices were definitely on the higher side for what you get. Nothing too much to rave about other than the agedashi tofu, so I will be by for that again, but not sure if I would necessarily get anything else. Service was attentive and great. Just know, not all their offerings are actually listed on the menu, so we did not even know how much the stir fry udon was until we got charged for it.
