this is my go-to poke spot in socal! i always get the poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon, half rice & half salad, and a ton of toppings. love that they don't charge extra for toppings & you can choose as many as you like! i personally like adding avocado, masago, imitation crab meat, and ginger, and their uroko sauce is SO addictive! service is efficient & there's a ton of space inside to eat. come here for fresh fish & quality ingredients at a reasonable price point for the portion size!

Loved this poke spot which has such great value for what you get. The portions are big and even enough for leftovers. This restaurant operates assembly line style where you choose your bases, proteins, vegetables, and toppings. I got a 2 scoop bowl for $15 with salmon and tuna. Both of the fish types tasted fresh and the scoops were pretty generous. They even manually mix the proteins and veggies with your sauces of choice. I also love how I could add crab salad, avocado, and masago without extra cost. They have a lot of variety in their menu which is nice. The line was pretty efficient even though it was a bit busy. The interior is pretty spacious with lots of seating and tables. Bathrooms available. They also have free parking next to the restaurant. If I lived in the area, I would regularly come back!

UROKO POKE @ BRISTOL ST It was super fast to get the bowls, and it was super super fresh. I would say it's super hard to find parking on the area, but overall a great place to grab a quick healthy lunch.

I was craving poke but didn't feel like going to the spot in Huntington I usually go to. Uroko had a lot of really good reviews and it was close to where I was, so I gave it a try. A lot of people complained about parking, but it honestly wasn't bad at all. The restaurant itself is clean, bigger than it looks, and has lots of seating available. I haven't had a poke bowl in a minute but I was eager to try it out. The prices were pretty expensive. 2 small scoops of poke for $16. The bowl is packed because they put so much of the base, which in my case was rice. For my protein, I got ahi and yellowtail. Both were fresh. They also have a good selection of add-ons and sides, but the poke itself was nothing special. I will say, it's awesome that the crab salad, seaweed salad, and avocado are not charged extra.

Parking is tight and limited, this place gets busy a lot, and yes it is pricey for a poke place. I have been to a couple poke places, by far this place has the flavors hands down. Super spacious inside, they have boba drinks, and the staff were nice. They have food containers and water to the side of the wall in case you don't finish your food. They also sell other appetizers as well, from fries, sushi rolls, and takoyakis. This place has tons of variety on drink selection too.

Build your own poke bowl concept, perfect for when you want a quick customizable option. There's so many sauce and topping combinations you can do, and I feel like you can't go wrong with any! Out of the fish options, I preferred the salmon here. Definitely not the best or freshest poke I've had, but it does the job! Portion size is also pretty good and definitely filling! This is a solid spot for poke in OC. Very spacious place, good for a casual lunch/dinner spot.

Uroko is pretty solid poke option in the area. It was my first time checking it out, and I liked it. What I thought was nice was in the toppings, they have an "extra spicy" chili oil. As a spicy connoisseur myself, I highly recommend. What I also liked is that they have so many options when it comes to toppings (including mango and pineapple, heck yeah). Another thing that I thought was nice was they mix your fish and toppings together before putting in your plate. That way, you don't need to mash everything up together yourself. The only thing I didn't like was how small their fish portions are. For the price, I get way more fish for a couple bucks less at Poke Tiki and fish quality is exactly the same. There is plenty of seating inside and good tunes playing. Parking is easy and it's in the back.

Delicious food, probably the best in OC or at least the area! Great build-your-own-bowl with consistent tasting food. The prices have gone up over the years unfortunately, but I found that a 2-scoop bowl was still plenty. I was so full by the end of my bowl, it was totally worth it. The service was good - the workers were nice but you can tell they were overwhelmed. This place doesn't ever seem not busy. There's plenty of seats inside and also expect a somewhat loud ambiance. Also to note, the single lane driveway entrance to the parking lot is a bit of a mess. It's also a steep driveway (low car friends be warned). There's also an entrance if you go through the gas station. Overall, good food, filling, just a bit pricey.

Genuinely one of the best poke places in OC, a bang for your buck. I love getting a 3 scoop and I think it's super cool you can get so many toppings too. I absolutely love this place and would recommend :")

I feel Uroko has gone downhill over the years. The scoops of protein is so small. For $16, you get two very tiny scoops. I swear, they used to use a larger scoop size for their protein. While everything tasted fine, I just don't like how much I'm spending for the few chunks of fish in my plate. Also, the minimum spending is $16 for two proteins, why can't they offer a single protein one at a lower price? The masago scooper is such a joke, it was so tiny I almost said something rude out loud. They'll continue to get business because their location is great and I think people find it convenient, but I'm not returning.

Decent portions but kind of slow service. Came here on a weekend afternoon for lunch. I ordered a 2 scoop bowl with yellowtail and spicy salmon. They give you a decent amount of toppings, and avocado is free here which is rare. They were pretty busy though, so in between each scoop of toppings, they would have (what I'm guessing is) online and mobile orders being prepped. I feel like they seemed a bit rushed and it was a little chaotic during the ordering; they accidentally charged me for a 3 scoop indeed of 2 but I noticed before paying. Overall a pretty good poke spot with fresh fish, and decent portions. Minus 1 because the rice seemed a little old? It was kinda dry but also mushy at the same time. Other than that, would recommend for a fresh and tasty lunch!

Essentially is Chipotle style poke. Great portion size and surprisingly good fish. Location/Parking: kind of tough to find parking. Lot is pretty small considering how big the establishment is. Service: servers were friendly and helpful. Very fast and efficient. Vibes: large eating area, lots of people sitting for a quick bite to eat. Fairly loud and lively, especially at lunchtime. Food: I love that you get to build your own poke bowl and can choose so many different options! The fish was a lot fresher than I had anticipated and tasted pretty good with the ponzu sauce. Unlimited toppings was a huge plus. Great for a quick meal! Would come back again.

The food was beyond fabulous, the customer service was not. This was our first time trying this spot. The first two gentlemen who served us were very unfriendly and made us feel rushed ordering. Both of them had an attitude especially the young man with glasses. The last, really tall, gentleman who helped us was the friendliest out of the 3. I would come back for the food but the customer service needs some serious attention from the manager!!

There's a parking lot next door, which alleviated stress over parking around a beach. My friends and I shared the ahi poke, salmon poke, and ceviche. Each of the orders came with chips. Everything was flavorful but our favorites were between the ahi and the salmon. While I wouldn't say it was the best poke I've had, especially considering the wait, it was still tasty and worth trying!

The chicken bone in thighs are HUGEEE, a 2 pc plate is definitely a sufficient portion. The fried chicken is some of the best, juicy inside and super flaky and crispy outside. The spicy garlic sauce is perfectly sticky and has great flavor. The mac salad is creamy and includes potato. I'd rate the CPC plate 6/5 - DA BOMB! We also got a spam musubi, which was delicious, good spam to rice ratio and yummy sweet sauce. 5/5 musubi. I also tried their DHK bowl which is a huge bowl including poke, kalua pig (or lau lau), seaweed salad, and lomi salmon. I liked that it was an option to try a little bit of everything. The ahi poke was super fresh, with minimal sauce. The seaweed salad was sweet and not very fishy. The kalua pig was tender. The lomi salmon was probably my least favorite because it was pretty salty. I'd rate the DHK bowl a 3/5. Their new menu seems to be focused on CPC chicken with only a few other options. Also note there's no indoor seating, and they only have a couple of picnic tables outside.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY and just noticed you have 103, 1-2 star ratings on Yelp. WTH? Aren't you reading these?? I've tried you a few times at the former location, but somehow never wrote a review. Shocking because I've been an elite for 12 years and not only do I write reviews to keep track of myself, but also if there is something negative, the establishment may take it as constructive criticism and learn from the reviews. With that said, maybe now, after reading this...you'll understand why my rating isn't higher... You did really well on the second day of your opening. There were plenty of employees, everyone was friendly and the food came out quickly. However, unfortunately, the food was as I remembered. NOT ALL THAT.... and SUPER EXPENSIVE for what you get! OK, let's break that down... Your signature Chili Peppa Chicken is great! (especially if you eat skin cuz that's where all the flavor is) ... but I'm not impressed that you charge SO MUCH for 2 chicken thighs. ONLY EVERYONE knows that chicken is VERY reasonable, and next to drumsticks... thighs are also relatively inexpensive, especially when you buy in bulk. Even more disappointed with the Garlic Shrimp Plate. If you're trying to mimic Giovanni's, please do more research. I've been making this for years and found a GREAT recipe. ALSO, just realized it says 9 pieces, I only got 6. (note photo) For $21. Seriously? This is a fast-food take out, not a 5-star restaurant and they'd use JUMBO shrimp for this price! The straw that broke the camel's back was this..... I bought two plates, so I was hoping to get a little more mac salad instead of FOUR scoops of rice total. I asked if I could swap out one scoop for mac salad instead. She told me that was NP, but it would be $2.75 additional charge. The last time I looked, pasta was close to the same price as rice, so should there really be an upcharge for this? Also, did not see any potatoes in this "mac pot salad", just mayo and pepper. SUPER basic. NOTE from previous visits: I just wasn't impressed on my two former visits because (1) your prices are overly expensive for what you get and (2) I ordered poke once, not realizing it was close to your (early) closing, but the gal scraped the bottom of the container to get me an order, not offering a smaller size or price. I get it, she's only a worker, but if you, the owner informs her that when it gets to where you don't have enough for an order, you could offer it at half price, or something.... Sure, do what you want AND it's YOUR restaurant, not mine, but compared to comparable fast food restaurants, like yourselves, I'd do some PRICE (and QUALITY) COMPARISONS if I were you. Loft - - Expensive also, but the give you TONS of food for the price. My husband and I EASILY share one meal for ~$20 L&L - - Mix plate is great. Quality is ok. Price is on point. Mama Hieu's - Chicken AND Shrimp plates are QUALITY! The chicken wings and Garlic Shrimp ARE both JUMBO! BB.Q Chicken (Korean) - Whole chicken is cut into more than 8 pcs and the way they cut it, you could easily feed a family of 4 with one whole chicken. Various flavors. Delicious! Huckleberry's - HEALTHIER version of "fried" chicken... 10 extra points for being BROASTED (always fresh, cooked to order) and DELICIOUS!! Price comparison: 8 wings, approx $30 however, please NOTE that 1 wing here has 2 edible parts: Drum & Flat is counted as ONE, so, I guess you could count that as 16 pcs for $30 KFC - - Weekly Tuesday specials. 8 pc dark only with 2 large sides & 4 biscuits $20
