I always get the medium with two scoops salmon and one scoop tuna and almost all the toppings

I've been here 30+ times probably over the years and I've NEVER had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and always greets you when you walk in. Fish is fresh, the toppings are all fresh. I love the miso too! This is basically my "old reliable" of poki, the portions are exactly right for the price I mean you just cannot go wrong. Will continue to be a regular here :) PRO TIP if you love spicy get the volcano 3 on the side and dip your fish in it, it's SOOO good but SUPER spicy... my mouth is watering just thinking about it

We stumbled upon this poke spot as we were waiting for another restaurant in the plaza, and it was a casual build your own poke bowl place. They had a good amount of fish options and toppings, and the workers were nice in building the bowls for us - not skimping on anything

So I usually go to the Pokey Tiki at main place or the one on Harbor but today I came to this location and I had mentioned something about the portions and the girl told me that if I didn't like it I could leave. It was a very rude experience. Maybe that's why the store was empty but never come here again. No one even greeted me when I walked in. The vibe was definitely not welcoming.

I've been craving Hawaiian-style poke, so when I saw "Hawaiian, poke" in the restaurant heading I thought I'd found a new spot. I did find a new spot, but they don't do the pre-marinated, Hawaiian-style poke here. Here's what I did find: a nice little spot that was clean, inviting, had friendly staff, and had a couple of fish offerings i hadn't seen at any other place. I ordered the extra large bowl, choosing the standard salmon, tuna, and shrimp (can't go wrong with those!) and 2 new proteins to try: albacore & crab salad and salmon & crab salad. Both were dry (not moist/mushy like spicy tuna). I would order both again. They offered to drizzle poke sauce and sesame oil over it all, which I agreed to. The next step I'm a bit confused about. They have bottles of sauces and I'm not sure if they'd also drizzle those over your bowl if you ask or if they only give the the little condiment cups. I wanted to try new sauces, so I asked for a cup of wasabi cilantro and also one that had peanuts. When I sat down to eat my bowl, because I only had them drizzle the poke sauce and the sesame, the bowl was on the dry side. Adding the side sauces helped, but it still wasn't as saucy as the bowls I'm used to getting. What I realized when I finished the bowl was that I actually enjoyed it on the "drier" side. The fish didn't get lost "swimming" in sauce. (Pun *may* be intended) Overall, was it what I was expecting? No. BUT, I did enjoy the food. I'm counting it as a win and I'm looking forward to coming back again soon!

This poke place was A-Ok. Was planning on heading to downtown Tustin, but wanted to grab something quick and cool, as it's a very warm summer day, so decided on this poke place with good proximity. Parking here was a sinch as this is a very large center with very abundant parking. I got the medium poke bowl with tuna, salmon and spicy tuna and white rice as my base. It was quick to get the proteins and grain, but took a while for the toppings portion as the same individual who does the toppings is also checking out guests, so the bowl kinda just sits there until she's ready. I got my preferred toppings, spicy mayo and dynamite sauce, also grabbed a canned Diet Coke, as there are no fountain drinks here. There is a water cooler for lemon water though- just ask for a cup! As part of the order they asked you for your preferred utensils, and we got chopsticks. We sat down as there were still some tables available, but there was a lunch rush that came in after us (after 1pm on a Sunday), and tables became less plentiful inside. There were outside tables, but see previous statement about best. Overall, the poke bowl was as you'd expect it to be at these types of poke places. I did think their chopsticks could use an upgrade,l. They felt very low quality. Overall, I would return, as it's quick and easy, but will not blow your socks off.

It was on a wonderful evening of "parents night out" that my daughter ironically found Poke Tiki. While mom and dad were out having fun, my daughter got hungry and wanted to order take out. This was the exact night she stumbled upon Poke Tiki, and the night that poke bowls became a staple takeout weekend dinner for our family. Needless to say, my daughter fell in love with Poke Tiki from her first bite. I'm not kidding when I say we eat this as a weekend family take-out meal very frequently. I love their poke bowls as well! Take out option is very easy to follow online. You choose your size, your base, protein and all the fillings. I usually get their kids size, which leaves me full and happy. Although you only get one protein choice, crab meat is one of their options for fillings which is good enough for me. I love that I feel full, but not overly stuffed. Their salmon is nice and fresh (my choice of protein), and they offer many other protein options as well (my daughter loves their scallops and octopus as well). Poke Tiki has somehow become one of our family take out traditions, and it seems like they are here to stay. A satisfied tummy is a happy family, so no complaints here :)

Two stars might be generous. I'm decidedly not a fan. First of all, this place is pretty stingy with the "poke" in my opinion. They give you a lot of rice and whatever toppings you select but a relatively small amount of "poke." Also, the "poke" is not very good in my opinion. Among other things, it's not marinated. Good poke like the kind you can get at a grocery deli counter in Hawaii is always marinated. I will go so far as to say the "poke" at Poke Tiki isn't poke at all. It's just cubbed raw fish. The toppings are fine, but what you really want is poke - see above, though. Service wise, you order at the counter and tell the person what kind of fish you want, what toppings you want, and what sauce you want, etc. Hint: If the "poke" was marinated, there would be no need for sauce. Ambience wise, there are a few tables to sit at if you want to eat it there. I got mine to go, and most of it went in the trash. Welcome to my dead to me list. I won't be back. P.S. my pics are better if you click on them."

One of the Best Hawaiian BBQ Spots I've Tried!…read more A friend finally brought me to his favorite Hawaiian BBQ spot (I guess he decided to stop gatekeeping ), and I'm so glad he did! I ordered the 2-Piece Boneless Chicken Plate with the spicy garlic sauce, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The seasoning paired perfectly with the spicy garlic sauce, making every bite delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the creamy mac salad had a nice peppery kick that complemented the meal really well. My only minor complaint was that the chicken was just a tad salty, but it wasn't enough to take away from the overall experience. The two women working the register were friendly, welcoming, and professional, greeting everyone with big smiles. The dining area inside was spotless, there was plenty of indoor seating, and parking was easy with lots of available spaces it was very clean! If you're looking for flavorful Hawaiian BBQ with crispy, juicy chicken and excellent customer service, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'd happily come back again. 9/10!

Trust me, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to like you, especially now since you've recently moved to my…read moreside of HB. Welcome. .... I felt a bit sad and guilty writing this review, but hey.. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY and just noticed you have 103, 1-2 star ratings on Yelp. WTH? Aren't you reading these?? I've tried you a few times at the former location, but somehow never wrote a review. Shocking because I've been an elite for 12 years and not only do I write reviews to keep track of myself, but also if there is something negative, the establishment may take it as constructive criticism and learn from the reviews. With that said, maybe now, after reading this...you'll understand why my rating isn't higher... You did really well on the second day of your opening. There were plenty of employees, everyone was friendly and the food came out quickly. However, unfortunately, the food was as I remembered. NOT ALL THAT.... and SUPER EXPENSIVE for what you get! OK, let's break that down... Your signature Chili Peppa Chicken is great! (especially if you eat skin cuz that's where all the flavor is) ... but I'm not impressed that you charge SO MUCH for 2 chicken thighs. ONLY EVERYONE knows that chicken is VERY reasonable, and next to drumsticks... thighs are also relatively inexpensive, especially when you buy in bulk. Even more disappointed with the Garlic Shrimp Plate. If you're trying to mimic Giovanni's, please do more research. I've been making this for years and found a GREAT recipe. ALSO, just realized it says 9 pieces, I only got 6. (note photo) For $21. Seriously? This is a fast-food take out, not a 5-star restaurant and they'd use JUMBO shrimp for this price! The straw that broke the camel's back was this..... I bought two plates, so I was hoping to get a little more mac salad instead of FOUR scoops of rice total. I asked if I could swap out one scoop for mac salad instead. She told me that was NP, but it would be $2.75 additional charge. The last time I looked, pasta was close to the same price as rice, so should there really be an upcharge for this? Also, did not see any potatoes in this "mac pot salad", just mayo and pepper. SUPER basic. NOTE from previous visits: I just wasn't impressed on my two former visits because (1) your prices are overly expensive for what you get and (2) I ordered poke once, not realizing it was close to your (early) closing, but the gal scraped the bottom of the container to get me an order, not offering a smaller size or price. I get it, she's only a worker, but if you, the owner informs her that when it gets to where you don't have enough for an order, you could offer it at half price, or something.... Sure, do what you want AND it's YOUR restaurant, not mine, but compared to comparable fast food restaurants, like yourselves, I'd do some PRICE (and QUALITY) COMPARISONS if I were you. Loft - - Expensive also, but the give you TONS of food for the price. My husband and I EASILY share one meal for ~$20 L&L - - Mix plate is great. Quality is ok. Price is on point. Mama Hieu's - Chicken AND Shrimp plates are QUALITY! The chicken wings and Garlic Shrimp ARE both JUMBO! BB.Q Chicken (Korean) - Whole chicken is cut into more than 8 pcs and the way they cut it, you could easily feed a family of 4 with one whole chicken. Various flavors. Delicious! Huckleberry's - HEALTHIER version of "fried" chicken... 10 extra points for being BROASTED (always fresh, cooked to order) and DELICIOUS!! Price comparison: 8 wings, approx $30 however, please NOTE that 1 wing here has 2 edible parts: Drum & Flat is counted as ONE, so, I guess you could count that as 16 pcs for $30 KFC - - Weekly Tuesday specials. 8 pc dark only with 2 large sides & 4 biscuits $20

Wow is all I have to say. This might be my new go-to spot! I…read moreordered the one-item plate with chicken katsu, macaroni salad, and rice, and every single part of the meal was amazing. The katsu was perfectly thin and crispy, the rice was fluffy and not dry, and the macaroni salad was honestly some of the best I've ever had..completely crave-worthy. I recently had a baby, so I ordered through Grubhub for an easy meal, but I've actually been a fan of theirs since my baby shower. I special ordered malassadas in Oreo (a special flavor), guava, and mango, and they were a huge hit. They took me right back to Hawaii, and so many guests asked where I got them because they were that good. Whether you're looking for a comforting plate lunch or delicious malassadas, give this place a try, you won't regret it!

The star of the meal was the Furikake Chicken. It tasted SO GOOD. Chicken was a little dry, but the flavor makes up for it. Pork belly was good and pretty tender. Mac salad was not bad, with a strong bonito flavor, and the coleslaw was a bit bitter. Loco Moco was decent. Limeade was definitely sour, but my husband enjoyed it. We ended our meal with one mango and one coconut cream malasada. Donut was hot and fluffy, and the cream was pretty good... just VERY sweet! If I'm ever in the area, I would come back for the Garlic Furikake Chicken bowl, and to try their spam musubi!
