I was bummed they didn't have the fried garlic chips. They also only carry scallops seasonally. Avocado is $1 more Tried their tropical juice and their Guava one too. Wasn't too blown away with AhiPoki in comparison to their competitors. My husband and I spent about $20 for two small bowls consisting of two protein selections each. It's a little steep for just two choices of fish considering there is a $1 up-charge for yellowtail & avocado. Between the two of us we tried their spicy tuna, albacore, tuna luau and salmon and thought that their ingredients did taste fresh. Polite customer service however don't know if we'll return again knowing we can get more bang for our buck somewhere else. read more

Omg Poke opened past 9pm?! We were sold! Drove up and it looked empty but the open sign was on, and door was unlocked so we walked in. Instead of being greeted with a welcome we got a "Hi, we close at 9" Yelp states that AhiPoki is opened until 10pm. Unless I read the time wrong and 9:03pm is 10pm. I decided to try AhiPoki because I received coupons in the mail and was excited to find another poke spot in the Tustin area. The offerings are practically identical to all other poke joints. They have two bowl sizes: $9.75 for 2 scoops of protein and $10.75 for 3 scoops. I went with the two scoops and got tuna and salmon. The tuna was dry and the salmon was decent. The bowl with all the toppings is a good size, but the scoops of fish are small. I wasn't terribly impressed with this place and probably will only come back if I receive more coupons. read more

There are a LOT of Poke places popping up around, but I am telling you, some of them, hit your stomach right away (not in good way), and don't want to go back. This one, did not have that problem! The staff was very friendly as soon as you walk in. Will guide you thru the process if never been to one (watched them with a novice behind me). I don't like tuna, so I went for the Salmon, Octopus (not chewy at all), yellowtail. I like the Spicy Mayo, but have tried other sauces too. For crunch, have to get the edamame and cucumbers, and of course the imitation crab salad and seasame seeds. And you MUST, MUST get the Spam Musabi! I have tried other Hawaiian places, and this is the best. They sear the Spam, gives it real good taste, then the saltiness of that with the seaweed wrap and rice...OMG! Just ask for extra soy sauce to dip in in! So, worth it...and you get TWO of them!! Make sure and share, or take one home, as they are big! Will definitely be back again!!! read more

I have had poke at several different places and actually prefer the joints I tried inland in Riverside County, ironically. The first time I came to Ahipoke here it was to get a poke bowl of rice and salmon for my 6-year old son, and because I wasn't eating it I was discriminating. He likes his pretty plain with just rice and fish with minimal sauce. When I checked out, I was given a promo card to "bring a friend, get a bowl free". So when I came back with a friend, I intended to eat a poke bowl myself. I tried the tuna luau and the blazing salmon, and I appreciate that they sample these unique offerings. I ended up choosing a regular bowl (2 scoops of protein) with ahi tuna and the blazing salmon on brown rice and salad. The reason I will never come here again is because the "scoops" of fish are the smallest I've ever seen. The proportion of salad and rice to fish was way too different, so I was left with so much rice and salad after eating my tiny scoops of fish. The prices are the same as other places that are much more generous with protein, so I will be spending my money at those places instead. But thank you for the buy one, get one free promo. I would have been much more upset if I paid full price for two lame bowls instead. read more

My usual unagi place is currently closed so I gave this a shot. It was good, but a relatively small amount of rice for the price. I also find charging 75 cents each for a sprinkle of seasoning, wasabi, ginger, or a few daikon sprouts crazy. I was hoping they would really load it up. Overall not bad, just overpriced. If really need you the extra revenue, just raise the price of the dish, add extra rice and let the cheap toppings be free. Masago or avocado, etc, I can understand charging extra for. Everything is so fresh and delicious --- the greens are great, the spicy salmon and tuna/avocado are insanely fresh and tender (Some poki restaurants serve those weird cartilage bites - ?) . The toppings are very well chosen, and the staff is very gracious if you ask for a "little extra" of this or that, so you really get the plate you want. Their house dressing is amazing, and brings all the flavors together seamlessly. This place is fairly good for a poke place, however previous week Wednesday/Tuesday 12/18 - 12/19 I came here for a poke bowl and the server was sick. He continuously coughed on his arm while serving me. The following Friday (right during the holidays) I also got sick and had to drop so many of my anticipated holiday plans. First time I came here since they changed the name. $10.55 for a 2 scoop bowl. And it's 2 scoops, not a scoop and some extra like other places. I had the blazin salmon which is the salmon mixed in spicy mayo. Then the salmon with the house sauce with is a shoyo sauce.I got half salad and half rice. They rice was stale!! It was hard and crunchy. This was at 2:30pm so that means it had to been either last nights rice or they don't know how make rice with enough water. Since there's no other reviews they don't know how to make rice, I'm gonna with the first. Both salmons were good. They don't use gloves to mix in the poke, they the tongs. So at the end, some of the salad was hanging out the side of the container, the guy put it in with his bare hands. I just happen to catch that out of the side of my eye. So I made sure to remove that part of my salad when I got back to my office. Overall I go to a lot of poke places and will never go back to this one. Quality is OK. But with the price, i would not say I like how much I paid for the OK quality. I went 3 times to try out different options on the menu. I recommend the pre-seasoned fish. The third time was very unhappy. Don't get seared poke! Ever! Theyre not "seared", they were cooked! They used a griddle, then added raw fish with some Pam on it and covered with a lid... how is that a searing technique? This poke place is within walking distance to me, so I really wanted to like it and really wanted to support a local business; however, I have had too many bad experiences here to recommend this place. On one visit, I added octopus to my bowl and the octopus turned out to be bad. I let one of the workers know immediately. Not only did they not offer to replace my meal, they didn't replace the bad octopus from the serving station. Once I noticed that they hadn't replaced the octopus and were going to continue to serve the spoiled food to other customers during the lunchtime rush, I told one of the employees they shouldn't be serving it. At that point, they finally removed the spoiled food from the serving station. I came in a week later during a non-peak hour. The manager/owner was busy at the cash register doing some bookkeeping so I waited patiently since there didn't seem to be any other workers around and I didn't want to interrupt his counting. A couple of minutes later, the manager/owner looked up, saw me, and continued with his bookkeeping without acknowledging me,offering to help, or even asking me to wait. I just walked out and will never eat here again. It's too bad since I love poke and would have eaten here at least a couple of times a week. read more

I went here yesterday and I was pretty excited to try this place out since I love poke and it was new, but it was very depressing. I got a regular bowl with spicy tuna and yellowtail (it was a $1 extra) and they gave me a good portion of the spicy tuna, but a depressingly small amount of the yellowtail. Their toppings are also kind of just meh. I chose the sweet citrus sauce and it wasn't citrusy at all it was just more sweet than citrusy. And the customer service was subpar. Overall this place was just subpar and there are tons of other places in Irvine/Tustin that offer better poke. read more
