    Lamb Gyro Pita Wrap
    Anita M.

Hubby and I were craving Mediterranean food and saw this place near our apartment, and so glad we decided to give it a try. The staff is very friendly and attentive- the inside of the restaurant is very clean. We ordered the chicken salad, hummus and pita and the lamb gyro pita wrap. All ingredients tasted very fresh and the food was amazing. Their garlic sauce topped everything off very nicely. Very happy we found this place, and we'll definitely be coming back for more. If you're also feeling Mediterranean, give this place a shot! You won't be disappointed!

Been coming here for years since they opened but finally got around to writing a review! They have been consistently good since the first time I visited. Stopped by today for some lunch and they didn't disappoint. I only recently saw they have some soup options so I wanted to try one. I got the cajun fish soup and it was so good. A delicious cajun seasoned vegetable broth with a bunch of veggies and some chunks of white fish. You gotta love their salsa bar with so many options! I love their habanero pickled onions. I put them on top of my mahi mahi plate with cauliflower rice, not that it needed them. The sauce they put on top and included with the fish plate was addicting. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep the restaurant very clean. Stop by if you haven't yet!

Forget California Fish Grill! This place is far superior with excellent quality fish, cooked perfectly, paired with a light but seasoned basmati rice and grilled vegetables. You can see how lively the restaurant is, filled with locals and a wonderful team! I ordered the plate dish with Grilled Barramundi to try, and absolutely loved every bite. The fish was juicy and lightly seasoned, paired with their Mojo sauce. You can grab their diablo sauce, pico de gallo by the sauce bar if you want a kick. I will come back to enjoy the other dishes!

Came here for weekday dinner. This place is quite popular and gets packed on peak meal hours. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got calamari to start. For our entrees, we picked the lobster taco combo, and mahi mahi plate. Calamari- Served hot and fresh. The breading is crispy and flavorful while staying soft and chewy inside. The dipping sauces complemented every bite. Lobster Taco Combo- This comes with rice and beans that makes for a very filling meal. The lobster pieces are generous and you get a good amount with every bite. The meat is fresh and flavorful. The lime wedge provided gives it a burst of freshness. Mahi Mahi Plate- This is a hearty plate that comes with rice, salad, and roasted veggies. The vegetables are all fresh. The fish is moist and flaky with a nice sear. Very tasty! Great experience overall!

    Grilled Cod Entre 10/10

Placed my order online. Super easy. Food was ready upon arrival. I ordered the Grilled Cod Plate with hummus. The plate was a 10/10. Big portion of fish. The fish was delicious. Seasoned very well. The hummus was ok. It's always busy in here. Why I decided to place my order online. They have plenty of seating options inside and out. The staff were great. Highly recommend.

Ordered the mixed grill family meal for my UFC party Saturday. The mixed grill included Three kabobs: filet-mignon, chicken & ground sirloin. Comes with basmati rice, grilled veggies, salad, garlic sauce, hummus, tzatziki and pita bread. My favorite was the ground sirloin, great flavor and juicy. If I could, I would want all ground sirloin kebobs. The pita bread so good with the hummus and tzatziki sauce. The garlic sauce goes well with everything. Overall everything was good, perfect portions for 4 people.

I would love to share our wonderful experience at FOB! We were actually driving to a different place when I spotted them! We turned around and super glad we did because OMG! The atmosphere feels like you're on vacation the service was on point! Super friendly and the food! Wow! Fresh and Jammed backed of flavor! The salsas are all fire! We definitely recommend everyone to try FOB! Thank you! See you back soon!

I love this chain. The battered fish tacos and chicken plate are both so yummy. Their rice was cooked perfectly, and their salad was refreshing as well. Their seasoning on the fry was delicious but the texture was mushy. There was a lot of seating available and service was fast.

Our experience was so good. This platter was amazing and the flavors were on point. The employees made sure that we were happy with our meal and that our drinks were cold and they even told us if we wanted to wait a few minutes to get a better deal with happy hour. I really enjoyed the food and I will definitely be back.

This place is perfect for weeknight casual dining. You can get a decent seafood dinner without breaking the bank. I ordered the mahi fish plate with rice. Rice was a little dry and I wish it had more flavor, but the veggie and the fish were great. My friends were happy with their orders too. Next time I want to try their lobster roll.

    Salmon salad

Recently had dinner at Fresh Off the Boat Fish Grill. I had the salad with grilled salmon and my husband had the bowl with salmon. The bowl came with rice and beans and some cabbage. Everything was fresh and tasty. Good portion of fish. FOB never disappointed.

    $30 burrito

Ordered here again, I was stuck at work and this is where my coworker was going. I asked for extra shrimp and they asked how many and my coworker said dude came over to help cashier because she didn't know how to add it. So he added 4 shrimp at $3 each. $30 for this burrito. I guess I'll go hungry next time. Shame on me for being dumb enough to return. And to address the response from last review, an order that was placed in person, my coworker asked for all veggies. So they put veggies in one side area and left the other empty. Why did they omit the side if it's no up charge? What a joke.

I do wish we got a little variety and picked a different dish instead of getting 2 pork dishes but both the cochnita pibil and castacan were highly recommended by a friend. Almejas al Vapor Picantes - The avocado clam sauce was incredible, especially paired with the focaccia bread for dipping. Pulpo al Guajillo - One of my favorite dishes of the night. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Empanadas - Really good! We all loved these. Salbute Pato Ahumado - Tasty, but it wasn't one of my favorites compared to the other dishes. Poc Chuc - I'd probably skip this next time. The flavor was good, but the meat wasn't as tender as I expected and was a bit tough to chew. Beignets - So delicious! Our server even brought us a side of vanilla ice cream to enjoy with them, which turned out to be an amazing combination. Overall, we had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Don't let the small restaurant deceive you. Small restaraunt but with bit flavors. The tortilla made with the quesadilla is nice and soft but with a good chew to it. Tastes like a homemade corn tortilla versus flour. The cheese is rich and has a wonderful pull to it. The lengua is extremely tender, little skimpy on meat portion, but overall good taco. The jarocho taco which is basically a shrimp taco on a cheese crusted tortilla is excellent. Service is what you would expect at a ma and pop shop. The cashier was patient enough to explain to me what a jarocho taco was and also spoke English which was nice for me. To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.
